I'm not a drug user but I was depressed and a loved one called when I had a breakdown and thought I felt suicidal. Im writing this review for the families like mine that read all of these. I was petrified going in, this was my first experience with anything like Highpoint or a treatment facility and I had no choice, I was section 12 (which I had no clue even meamt). I learned so much from the staff and even fellow patients. I attended meetings where people spoke so honestly and let me do the same. I met people from all walks of life and connected in a way with each. Don't hesitate to get your loved ones help, it's not easy being honest with your family all the time, but I feel so much more like my old self than ever. I plan on applying to work there, payback what I was given & hopefully help others feel safe and have hope like I do. From the start, the team at Resilience has been incredibly accommodating. The transition itself was stressful, and I was also dealing with a family crisis during my first couple of weeks, but the support I received made a meaningful difference. After my experience at BrightPath, I had some hesitation, but Kassi encouraged me to give this program another chance—and I’m really glad I listened. I’ve connected well with my therapist, and most of the facilitators have been excellent. The group sessions are engaging, relevant, and thoughtfully led. They create space for real, honest conversations while still allowing moments of humor and connection, which makes a big difference in a setting like this. The facilitators are creative, compassionate, and truly listen. It feels like they meet people where they are instead of taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Most of the staff has been here for years and they’re great. If you follow the rules and keep your head down, mind your buisness you’ll have no issues with this place… some people have complaints but those are usually the people who do whatever they want and tend to forget how lucky we are to have this place. Nick Harrington 8 months ago Just wanted to take a min or 2 outta my Sunday afternoon to let ppl know wat a life saving program hptc Plymouth is,in Aug 21,I had just entered prgm for 7 th time in last 2.5 months,every time I left AMA,they wud allow me back wen I called looking for a bed,never judging me and allowing me my process,I was sick as a dawg and totally defeated, there was a beautiful pregnant nurse there that touched my heart,even tho I was physically unable to go stand up in med line,cuz I physically cud not get out of my bed,time after time she wud come to my room to dose me,it was my 4 th day there and w/d’s were peaking,I hadn’t ate in 4 days and that nurse and the staff ,thru their compassion gave me a slight glimmer of hope, after a positive covid test I was quarantined to a room for 10 days and at that point I knew if I left again I wuda been screwed so I stayed til the miracle happened,not only did I make it thru w/ds ,I got thru the covid virus and made it the 10 days,not long after clinician got me placed into halfway house in east bos and I haven’t looked back since that day,for sum reason I will always remember that pregant nurse caring enuff with her compassion and understanding and at that point I set forth a path of recovery and once again becoming a productive member of society,and most importantly a father to my loving son ty hptc and all of there workers who assist in making miracle everyday Jim Kel 1 year ago So I recently went through treatment here for the 2nd time. Most of the staff has been here for years and they’re great. If you follow the rules and keep your head down, mind your buisness you’ll have no issues with this place… some people have complaints but those are usually the people who do whatever they want and tend to forget how lucky we are to have this place. Other than that all the staff was great for my 35 days there some go above and beyond when they dont have to the food absolutely sucks for the amount of money our insurance pays for us to be there the food should be way better. The nurses on unit 2 are more than great courtney Amanda shawna meghan to name a few amd the rest of them treated me with the up most respect give them a raise. The groups could be a little better seemed like we were learning the same stuff over and over each day. Hands down the best clinic at least on the south shore! Ido have to say the only issue I’ve had is just one or two of the clinicians. Like My clinician at the time Quianna is condescending and very passive aggressive and it’s insulting. I’ve had amazing clinicians work with me including Quianna. Her and the two clinicians before her got the promotion seeing over the other clinicians begin to have no time for us patients and become overwhelmed they always seem annoyed and within a couple months (one was just a couple weeks) they quit! Then I get dropped bc their caseload is too big same as the two times prior to this. For me it brings up feelings of rejection and not wanted especially the way it was said to me this past time.So it’s hard to keep baring my soul to new people constantly. So I’m a little closed off now to the therapy part. However this office is truly is a God send. The last clinic treated me like a junkie and couldn’t care less if I walked out and died.Not here! The front desk, the nurses, especially the director who I think is a real a superwoman and is extremely fair to all of us! Her door is always opened if you need her. The office is so clean and well decorated for all the holidays. If not for them idk where I would be. They all have a special place in my heart. They saved my life and I am forever grateful! I do suggest having a your own therapist separate from the clinic. I’ve been other places and they do not care for you as an individual. AT SPECTRUM THEY REALLY DO CARE no matter the stage in recovery you are in. I’ve always been treated with respect!. This is my safe place❤️ and I appreciate the hard work it takes on their behalf on keeping this a safe place for everyone who walks through their doors. People can say they didn't get help or didn't get sober but its not because of sstar its because you didn't do the work to stay sober. this place has kept me alive through the years when I needed to get off the streets or was sick begging for help. I always got accepted no matter if I wanted to get sober and stay sober or not! the one time I put all the work listened to all the suggestions let someone else run the show ive been sober since.
