I started seeing my therapist at Riverside in October of 2023. I see her every week face to face. She is wonderful. Very easy to talk to (which is rare for me). I am very comfortable with her. I feel very lucky and blessed to have been assigned to her care.

Very professional doctors & psychiatrists however, one of the few current "doctors" who prescribe medication has now changed to a registered Nurse Practitioner. This person's main specialization is in Gerontology, which by definition is "The study of the physical aspects of aging, as well as the mental, social and societal implications of aging."
I don't know about anyone else, but as a 24 year old I'm not sure how I would feel about being prescribed medication by someone who isn't a doctor/psychiatrist.

Therapist is very knowledgeable, capable, empathic and accepting.
I don't know what I'd do without all the support I get here....not just from staff but mostly from other people with similar backgrounds or same issues.
There is all kinds of training ....a gym and health and wellness groups.
Plenty to do at "the club".

I am very please to say I am impressed with the activities department and staff my sister was there for while and she never got out of bed until the activity director started showing interest to the residents I think she is new there. They have live entertainment and the activity department have a lot of compassion and really care about the quality of life for the residents there
