There is no right or wrong way to go through the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. But I can honestly say that the Brook Retreat has a revolutionary grasp on reaching the broken hearted. The level of care and accountability this program has for its clients is in-measurable from my past experiences. I had the pleasure of staying on an extra 6 months as a house manager at one of the phase down houses. I can honestly say the experience has sincerely changed my perspective of addiction and of myself. I was angry leaving my initial one star review because I felt lied to and deceived. I was told I d be lucky to make it back to this place meaning that I d be dead and not be able to make it back. I was told I would be dead cause of how horrible and defiant I was. I did not like AA was not for me so I was going to die. Many people that worked here told me. My case worker gossiped about me to a whole group of my peers saying one of you is going down a dark road really? These are the people to trust? These are the people getting me better. Also they said the bill would not need to be paid and I kept getting harassed by AP office I believe in Florida? So I was furious.So my initial review was one star and I left out words because I wrote a nasty review and had to erase them.I wanted to come back and edit my one star review to a five star. Cause here I am, over 5 years later, still going strong as ever in my recovery, and I have a place that is mine, I have a good steady job, and I m free of the chains of addiction. Whether I like it or not, my experience here is what lead me to where I am today. There was some amazing staff that was overworked and under paid so if by some grace of god they are still there, god bless. I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt and say they were trying reverse psychology on me, the staff talking crap about me to other peers, the staff saying I d be dead. But they were not that smart, they genuinely were telling me I was hopeless. I won t name you but I know that you know who you are.Now I sit here over 5 years later thinking that maybe if you did not spend so much time talking down and being hateful and judgmental to me, maybe all my brothers in program with me that are dead now, would still be alive if you paid them that energy. But it is what it is right? I don t equate my success to NEATC, hell no. I put my success on my shoulders. I easily could have taken yall saying I d be dead soon and actually gone and died. But I didn t. I spit in all your faces and I proved all of you wrong. I did it for me. I did it for my brothers who died due to the lack of care they received wether insurance was poor or you just focused more on me being defiant than their complacent obedience to your AA. What works for some does not work for all. It s your hate that drove the fight in me to succeed. I see my brothers in the program with me that never will get to share their smiles with the world, I can share the smile they taught me. I can share their message and I will not let them down.That s why I have 5 stars. This place did exactly what it needed to. Just like life, drove me insane, judged me, hate on me, gave me a place to live full of rats and mice, financial issues to battle, had to face death, had to hear pain like no other, and was not the smoothest ride. But through the pain and darkness of life there is always light, you can be that light. You can change. Amidst all the bad, there was a handful of AMAZING staff and people that gave me a real life experience I will never ever ever forget. Just like life this place is not perfect, we need to take the challenges and push on. I loved this place. And always will. This place did heal me. Not how I wanted but how I needed. Just like real life. I noticed my growth as I wanted to change my one star review. Even after all the trouble, I pushed through and fought and still see the light. I am still a light that will not be dimmed. And this place is a HUGE part of the reason I am who I am today. An amazing light in a dark dark world. This place put a challenge in front of me, life is not easy, you need to put in the work, and when life punches, you need to punch back harder.Thank you NEATC and the amazing staff I can t imagine would still be working here but if you are I love you. I finally registered for VA Healthcare and with some doubt, made an appointment for a physical. I was completely surprised and impressed with the whole experience. The staff was knowledable, friendly and showed concern. They were all articulate and spent considerable time with me. The facility was clean and modern. Been on liquid handcuffs for 3+ years finally starting to decrease my dose, this place saved my life they re awesome and don t treat you like an addict. My only complaint is they should make it easier for take homes. I don t understand why they don t give everyone 1 weeks worth and if the patient messes up then take them off. I feel like if I git take homes right away I could have winged myself off. Because yes Dr s know a lot and a lot more than me but I know for a fact I know my body better than any doctor. I ve only been to detox twice. Once at RCA in Danvers and I definitely wouldn t recommend going there. High point in Plymouth is INCREDIBLE. All the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Kind. The photos shown here by the owner are NOT what this clinic looks like! NOT EVEN CLOSE! I m a grateful patient there and I m not sure where these photos were taken but it s certainly NOT Brockton CTC! Brockton CTC is in SERIOUS need of an interior update. There are NO spacious Group room s, NO spacious dosing waiting area(we line up around corners & halls), and dosing is ABSOLUTELY NOT PRIVATE like these photos are portraying-Others stand right behind your back and can watch!I m a very grateful patient there and very thankful for the amazing services provided there! I m extremely satisfied with the quality of services I receive my only serious issue is the false visual portrayal this clinic.

Spectrum in weymouth MA is amazing. The clinical team there is second to none l. My quality of life has improved greatly after getting connected with this clinic. I couldn't imagine my life if I didn't have Alex, Derek, Gabby, and Kristin in my corner. The way that I have been built up to the person I want to be today not only makes me happy but also makes my family and the people around me happy. I stayed on unit 3 when I left I felt a million times better but do wish I had stayed longer staff was great food was good but for most can't complain when you got three hots and a cott when most people don't have nothing going in to the program one day at a time prays to everyone dealing with some sort of stuff

I ve only been to detox twice. Once at RCA in Danvers and I definitely wouldn t recommend going there. High point in Plymouth is INCREDIBLE. All the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Kind. Clean and friendly place to be. If I ever need to go back to treatment I would absolutely go back there.

High point staff are amazing! Most are in recovery and they care about us so much food is pretty good! Snacks suck! I will say that if your an alcoholic or a benzo addict to be careful here, I watched 4 ppl have seizures when I was there. There a protocol is insane!

This used to be Stepping Stone Inc House for females. It was referred to as the ivy league of halfway houses. All the staff members at WATC would recommend this house. It saved my life and many others. The graduate house used to be next door. I was here in 2015 and they were one of the best organizations around Steppingstone Inc. I am curious to know what it is now...I just know this was one of the best houses I had been to back then. Jessica was the director and also my counselor at the time she was amazing along with the other staff who helped run the house wish I could remember names. All of them were fabulous and cared about each and every woman who entered their doors.
