Marcus is a very hard working man. When he takes the day off we all feel it. He keeps that place together. Ms. Hubbard my counselor is awesome too. I read a few reviews, bad ones from people I actually know that go here, And while there were a few situations that were totally out of the staffs control, such as power outages, and down systems they're complaining and lying about most of it. Also while drug tests are not 100% reliable they are more often than not correct. These people at this clinic are not trying to keep you from getting take homes, the clinic will get paid either way. I'm sure they wished more would or could pass a drug test to get their take homes so they wouldn't have to see some of these miserable people everyday! Christina Moody 8 months ago From the time u walk in n get ur temp taken, to security,reception, lab and the nurses just amazing.Ive had the same amazing counselor for 8 years n shes amazing i can call her anytime and for anything.Dr Petty is amazing cares very much for her patients. However it can be very chaotic if u go there plan on being there for an hr atleast even if u arnt, plan on it. However not all the counselors or other Drs are the best. Rules change quite a bit and sometimes ur given the wrong information. But if ur struggling with addition a place like this can save ur life! Just ignore other patients in there n all other negative people n ull b just fine! Make sure u take a mask. From my initial late night phone call with RN Jeanne who reassured me that I was correct in refusing to get stuck on suboxone for 7oh dependence to meeting with Laura and then all the great nursing/patient care staff (especially Pat, with RT) as well as Dr. Aharonov, this place is the real deal. I don’t think I would have been able to get off 7oh any other way. The morning after the procedure was no walk in the park (fatigue, diarrhea, nausea, insomnia); but not having to suffer thru the intense body aches and pains as well as other opiate withdrawal symptoms for 4-7 days at home was well worth the price of admission. If you can handle a bad hangover for a day plus a couple more days of diarrhea, you can handle this. They also give you meds to help ease whatever symptoms you have after. I can’t tell you how many times I had tried quitting at home unsuccessfully (even with comfort meds like gabapentin and clonidine); I knew I had to go somewhere where I could just “rip off the bandaid” and be done with the nightmare I was stuck in and flying to Michigan was one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time. I’m going on nearly a month now since I was there and you couldn’t pay me enough to ever touch 7oh again. I’m forever grateful for this place and the amazing staff that works there. The majority of the employees there care about the residents. It's clean, they make sure your withdrawals are not too bad. When u 1st arrived you will be in detox 3 days or so then go over to the residents side for 29 days. The rooms have 2 to 3 people in it with its own shower/bath. Breakfast is 7, lunch 11, dinner 4 and a snack at 8. If you're too sick to go to the dining area they will bring it to your room. Mondays and Tuesday are your long days you're in meetings from 9am to 10pm. Group meetings are mandatory every day 9-11. Church is on Sunday and Bible Study on Wednesday. They will help u get on your feet so u can survive when u get out. Oh and the men monitors are cute too, i know one resident who has started messing around with one recently. But the majority of them are not like that. It's a spiritually grounded place where God is first. Oh and you get to keep your phone and smoke whenever you want to. Let's see what else , Oh the food is good now it wasn't when I 1st got there but we complained about it at our weekly meeting and it has improved, a lot! As far as I'm concerned it's one of the best around, but I've only been to one other Christian guidance center, i caught COVID there. I was only there for 2 weeks but they never took my vitals when I was there. And Harbor Light checks them every 4 hours when you're in detox. And once you have completed everything you will get a certificate and a coin. Oh and u have to drop weekly, Oh and they also have a medical mobile unit that comes every Thursday iu need blood work or whatever done. Everyone was so nice on my intake day. I love the doctor I seen (I don't remember his name, but he was really tall and he had brown hair and only comes in on Mondays) The lady at the front desk was so welcomed and nice I think her name is lila and Melissa is incredibly funny and helpful. It’s a lovely clinic, but I don’t plan on being here for a year after the year. I've been to other treatment centers but Nardin Park outclasses them all by leaps and bounds. The staff has a friendly but no nonsense attitude which I appreciate. They are professional and caring at the same time. For someone like me that is here for treatment and not a "Social Club", NPRC is the place to be!!! Well, it's 2023 and time for a life change. Thanks to NPRC I have been "clean" for over 2 years. I feel that I am ready to take the next step in my life. Time to detox out of the program. I am so ready to move on. I love the staff at AWBS because they genuinely care about the wellbeing of not only the consumers they serve, but the consumers' family members as well. The transportation service is excellent. I no longer have to worry about struggling to get my brother to the program on time, get to my job on time, and having to leave my job to pick him up. AWBS transportation now picks up my brother from home, and drop him back off home right at the door. We love it! My brother now has a new social outlet, and a great weight is lifted off of me.
