I LOVE this place. They have helped pull me out of such a low spot in my life. My therapist, Steve Scavone is the absolute best. I never would have thought that as a woman, a male therapist could be so helpful, but he's been absolutely amazing. I saw Jacqueline, a therapist, for more than two years, and she was great. She's a great listener and had good feedback for me. She also has a great sense of humor, which, to me, is important in a therapist. The office ran smoothly and they sent reminder texts and phone calls before each appointment. I recommend Eastwood BH!

It’s my second day home after the procedure starting on Monday and leaving Thursday. I haven’t had nausea, sweated or had diarrhea once since the procedure starrted and up until now. I’m moving around perfectly fine. The only problem I have is the restless legs which they give you meds for when you leave. I was coming off 24 mg suboxone I’ve been stuck on. If your want to be clean and actually get that dopamine feeling just listening to music get to this place as fast as possible. Don’t end up dead like the thousands we’ve seen already

Well I’ve been using fetty over 10 years I’ve been on methadone for 2 years I still use fetty once in a while well maybe now about 2 times a week sometimes more I’ve really tried to kick it all I just want off of everything I’m desperate I’d like to no more about how this procedure goes because I see skit of people say it hurts an that it’s rough well isn’t being door sick the same thing so it makes me wonder what would be the point if your still going to feel bad ? Is there any kind of withdrawals that u will feel what about this procedure makes u hurt ? I have so many questions

This is the most disturbing and disgusting place I have ever been in. Halfway through the tour I thought I was going to vomit . There is absolutely no way that this place is conducive to healing and growth. When asked about what they were fed the answer I received was soup and ramen noodle . Seriously....seriously ramen noodles? They dont return any phone calls So you have no idea how your loved one is doing . The communication is zero. Remember the old state institutions where they did lobotomies. I guess you never know. This is what you get for free . I would absolutely never recommend this hell hole.

I didn’t think I had time for recovery, but the flexible schedule and awesome staff made it possible! They respected my culture and never made me feel ashamed. Some of the group talks felt a little fast, but I learned so much. My family joined for a session too, which helped a lot. I feel stronger now, not alone.

PNLH is an amazing facility with amazing people who genuinely care about your wellbeing and recovery. I stayed in July/August and my experience was amazing. This place is actually nice not sure about the last review but I was a patient and they really helped me the staff there is good at what they do the meals are family style so we all take turns cooking I learned a lot there and have been to treatment places where they actually don’t care and your treated like another number I would and have sent other loved ones there

Life Challenge is a life saver for me. I’m so grateful to Pastor Jeff Bonzelar and my spiritual mom pastor Sheila as well as the teachers Bro Ken Keane, Bro Bob…and so many others. You have got to want change in your life for this to work. You’ve got to ask God to come into your heart ♥️ and do the work that needs to be done. I was walking around dead in sinking sand and God lifted me up and placed my feet on solid ground. I’ve completed 19 years and still standing for Jesus Christ. I have taken bus loads of people on urban tours of their sites and collected sheets, towels, hygiene etc. Their facilities meet a huge need in Detroit and Highland Park and are run by incredible people. Have been coming here for 3 years and only got worse. I called their crisis helpline only to get a voicemail that said they would return my call within a half hour. Called another location that didn't help either, just said they'd call back. Well, it's after business hours and I never did get that call today. Thankfully my boyfriend walked in just in time to keep me safe.

I've had a truly wonderful experience with Oakland Family Services. From the very first time I reached out the staff has been compassionate professional and genuinely dedicated to making me feel supported. Over time I've worked with a few different therapists due to insurance changes but each one has taken the time to listen and create a safe non judgmental space where I can speak openly and honestly. Every session feels intentional and focused on meaningful progress not just conversation. The holistic approach presented has helped me develop effective coping skills build confidence and find a greater sense of balance in my daily life.
I've had very little difficulty being connected with a person who prescribes the medication as well as having monthly checkups to talk about whether the medication is working for me or not.
Communication is always clear and scheduling appointments is easy and flexible. I've consistently felt valued and cared for as a person not just a client. The positive impact Oakland Family Services has had on my mental and emotional well-being is truly remarkable. I wholeheartedly recommend this agency to anyone seeking compassionate and effective mental health support.

I have been in and out of this er with my sister for months. I don’t know what medication history is or the need for it but I must say Asia and Jenna have both been very supportive. Jenna went above and beyond her duties to make sure I got a list of medications that was updated for my sister so she can be taken care of properly. Ive seen many bad reviews for this ER so I wanted to leave a good one. I have had to go to this ER many times over the last year for my heart. Every time I’ve been there, I’ve always gotten great care. They immediately take me back and get me into a room, and I’m usually in and out within 3-4 hours. All of the staff have been extremely nice and I haven’t had a single bad experience.
I’ve even had to bring my mother in law here because she was presenting with stoke symptoms. They acted very quickly and took her right from triage to ct. they wasted no time.
I fully trust them with our care.

The people here saved my life. I have nothing bad to say...sure the lines get backed up, that's ANY MAT clinic(and that's once in awhile in tough situations...this is my 4th clinic, and the best yet. I waited 1-2hrs EVERY day at my 1st 2 clinics). The front staff do their best with all they deal with. From seeing both perspectives, they do their best. Counselors are outstanding!

Been here since '19 and I will most likely be a lifer.This place's functionality can vary from day to day, which isn't ideal for people trying to stabilize. That said, the NPs (Doctors everyone calls them) are 11/10. Reene (sorry about spelling) andTonya are absolute angels, doing Gods work. Swriously they couldn't be better. The front desk ladies are good too, always busy. And thank god for the nurses too.They have been reliable lately and that is nice. Overall this place has some issues but don't throw away the bushell for one bad apple. Bonnie is also amazing and although I've only had a few interactions with her, each one was more pleasant than the last. Great lady.

I just watched a spotlight social media story/video on DWIHN Facebook that just released to the public, and I was already in tears over the drawings on the wall and other aspects of the video. Then the CEO of DHIHN spoke on the matter, The CEO of DWIHN also a former Detroit Police Department Chief, a man of greatness. I do not live in Redford and have not visited Lincoln Behavioral Services because I do not fit the criteria or have the need for services. However, I would like to give five stars so that based on the evidence I just witnessed and the recommendations of DWIHN that I can recommend this place of service to others. Redford area is already an underserved area, and the providers have a long history of constituents not trusting their mental health services and LE etc etc - videos and reviews like this can help show my support of your work even though I am not in the area. my husband and father both have cancer my husband passed away jan 19th and my father is still fighting but he's gotten worse .my father is dying from stomach cancer. I had lost so many family members to where i dont have hardly nobody left. My friend recommend my there after she lost her son and I'm thankful she did they were very nice and understanding when i went to see them.I really like this place because is a really good place to go.

SHAR was the facility that I went to treatment to in 2004. I am an alumni of SHAR House, this was an intense in patient program SHAR Men's Program which allowed me to reclaim my life. After a number of years in an addiction this was the place that helped me to reclaim my life back. There have been several programs that I went through, which didn't work but this was the one that worked for me. People who want Recovery will go through anything to gain their own Recovery. You have to do it by any means necessary to get what you want. Nowadays the people who come into SHAR and not able to get the help they need is because they don't want it for themselves. I am still in Recovery since 2004, but that is because I chose do what was needed to get my life together. Since that time I have gone back to school, gotten my own place, employed full time and being responsible for me, without relying on others to take care of my personal needs. If you want help you take the necessary steps to get what you want. It's not about the food, building or the staff it's about saving your own life that should really matter.

Life Challenge is a life saver for me. I’m so grateful to Pastor Jeff Bonzelar and my spiritual mom pastor Sheila as well as the teachers Bro Ken Keane, Bro Bob…and so many others. You have got to want change in your life for this to work. You’ve got to ask God to come into your heart ♥️ and do the work that needs to be done. I was walking around dead in sinking sand and God lifted me up and placed my feet on solid ground. I’ve completed 19 years and still standing for Jesus Christ. I encourage everyone to not let Satan get in your way. If you don’t like this one go find another Teen Challenge or Life Challenge. There are many more. But this was the best one for me. Constantly canceling important appointments due to overbooking. Turn over rate is so high that they lack experienced staff to run the facility properly. I’ve been fighting to get the same appointment scheduled for 3 months and they are now canceling on me again today.

the therapist I have is great, but trying to get your calls returned from the office is a headache. I called on two separate days trying to reschedule an appointment with my psychiatrist, and they never pick up or call back even after leaving detailed voice messages. now I don't know when I'll be able to see my psychiatrist for medication that I will be out of in three days since I wasn't able to reschedule.
