I am giving this review off an individuals basis , alone. Dr.Gerber earns a review from me because he is most certainly not a kickback doctor , and in this world that is almost non existent. He was extremely considerate thorough efficient as well as the appropriate amount of concern and good reasoning and I completely trust him . He advised against scans that would cause radiation for my daughter if it was not completely necessary, he comforted my daughter when two separate nurses had tried multiple times unsuccessfully to draw blood, but most importantly He did not try to push or pursuade us in any way , and he backed us up when we went through different stages of trying to figure out what treatment we wanted. I feel like he did everything he could to reassure us but also do his job efficiently. He was very compassioate, thorough and Thought out.

My wife had gone in for a pregnancy stress test to see how our son was doing with contractions for being over due date. They reacted immediately when drops in heart rate occurred and by the the end of 6 hours in the were performing a C-section and brought our beautiful baby boy to us safe and sound.
Nurses are extremely friendly and always there to help and answer all questions without making us feel dumb for asking.
I don't know about every other review, especially relating to pregnancies as the Maternity department was absolutely fantastic, we are so thankful and thank God that our team was here for us the way they were.

I am coming here as someone that has only suffered with depression and a low amount of anxiety. Throughout my time, I’ve had the same therapist, Molly. From the start, she’s been nothing but great. Not only very understanding, but also always has an outlook on every situation that I couldn’t even consider, and has helped me through so many rough times. She genuinely cares about me, and it means so much. The only problem is that her schedule is packed, which makes complete sense, she’s awesome. I had Al Holloway. I knew the 1st visit he did his therapy so much different than other help I've had. Not to say the others were not helpful. Dr Al Holloway made me think deeper than ever before. Many times I couldn't find an answer to. He is so mild mannered. He was never tough on me either. It's been awhile since I've seen him and I've moved 3xs since. I've finally looked at life, myself in a different light. I'm open to new insight. I believe the ones that rated him low just didn't want the help he had to offer.

Due to Covid isolation, my mental health took a huge jump backwards and my struggle from depression and anxiety was almost debilitating again. I started seeing a counselor at Western Mental Health and she is helping a lot.
I've brought my children here for a long time, and their counselors were/are also wonderful!!!
I've seen psychiatrists here for many years for med management, and am frustrated that I keep losing them after opening up to them. However, the staff is always kind, caring, and helpful, and the building is clean, nice and welcoming.

Honestly I want to say ideal options is the most amazing place that I have dealt with in my recovery! I see Dr. Gregory Cagle, he has been nothing but patient, understanding and helpful through everything. They gave me a free two week trial of medication that may cause infertility, uncontrollable muscle movements (my butt literally won’t stop moving after 1 pill), may cause diabetes also… big pharma is getting them to prescribe things that can’t be helped. I will never trust them again. Don’t take their free samples they offer.

I cannot say enough good things about this place it’s a lifesaver for veterans, active duty and their spouses struggling with substance abuse and mental health. The staff here is so friendly and helpful. The food is amazing and the chef is very friendly lady as well. If they are not able to get you the help you need which is unlikely then they will be able to find other treatment centers that can help you.

I have struggled with PTSD, Polytrauma, TBI, and over 25 surgeries from my military and paramilitary service. A large portion of my life has been spent in the US Air Force, US Army and a several alphabet agencies including DAC DCMA and the SAC formerly the SAD of the National Clandestine Service. The majority of my career was supported under title 50 something most people dont know exists. It is the NRO NSA CIA and NGA all in one for both intelligence and clandestine covert operations. I served in the ground branch air branch sea branch and special programs branch and have been wounded and suffered various injuries and illness as a result of my service. I can now speak freely about the things done for the sake of our freedoms partially to relieve my guilt and mostly to heal myself and deal with grief for the others who did not survive and got a star on the wall or were misled about where and how there loved one in the military died.
Because Kris Kyle Staff understand the sacrifices made by people in and out of uniform in service to there country mostly by first hand experience, I now have a team effort for healing that is as strong as the collaborative effort and need for covert operations. Truth is very important in my healing process and I was trained and instructed to not disclose the nature or specifics about my job to the point of enforcement by death for some violations. Angie, Chris, Josh, Jared and others have served directly and assisted by listening and not labeling my story as crazy something a few civilian providers have done mostly due to lack of understanding or collusion with adversaries to the role and mission of the clandestine service. I myself am also a USC MSW trained clinician who can diagnose and treat mental illness and have found my education and experience helpful but have not been able to heal myself despite multiple attempts. I turned to alcohol and other substances to cope making bad situations worse. The insight into my injuries and ailments by staff is remarkable and I hope for ongoing healing and the ability to be compassionate for myself something I have neglected for a very long time.
I hope I will be able to transition to a PHP/IOP with Kris Kyle to avoid having to tell my story to another group or provider re opening or re starting on areas I have made progress. Most traditional special mission units have camaraderie in there brothers but the SAC are and were trained to be able to operate in hostile environments for multiple years without external support for there missions. This self reliance is a boomerang that has come back to hit me multiple times. In short I needed help and still do.
My treatment goals have been identified reviewed and updated weekly when an entire team of Subject Matter Experts in there field have a sit down and discuss what's working what isn't and what can be done better so I can reach my full potential. Thos approach is novel. I have successfully completed many inpatient treatment programs but have failed after I left for a variety of reasons not the least of which is adequate care for Severe TBI I received while conducting operations in my own country. This was identified early and the team has arranged appropriate level of continued care including Neurological assessments and tests at nearby JBER and coordinated with VA POLYTRAUMA and other providers of specialized medical services.
If you or a loved one needs help with complicated traumatic experiences or are suffering from addiction and are a Veteran Active duty or first responder Kris Kyle is by far the best option .
I traveled from CA via C 17 to be here so u don't have to be an Alaskan to come to this Tier 1 facility.

That was the worst doctor visit I have ever had in my 63 years, Peggy is the worst whatever you call her thayi have ever been to.i will not be coming by her 😡 she is rude and demanding and talks down me like I am a little kid. Very disrespectful to my husband and me 😥 she tries to push drugs that we not even discussed in the visit she handed me paper work and gave me a paper cut and proceeded to put it on me not wearing gloves wow real professional 👎I put one star because I couldn't but 0

UPDATED REVIEW: Front desk has gotten better about answering phone calls! My psych provider Shannon Buckner & my counselor Nicole Jenkins are both AMAZING providers! I am forever grateful for their care & how much they’ve helped me in the last 5 months! I’ve never trusted/felt comfortable w/ a counselor more than I have w/ Nicole Jenkins! I highly recommend their providers!
My experience definitely did not start off good. I had someone give me the wrong information for my appt (Telehealth, was given wrong person’s login), waited 5mins past my appt before I tried calling the front desk. (Providers run late) I could not reach anyone at the front desk, I called 13 times and only got voicemail. So I called the nurse line, the nurse was extremely unhelpful, sent me back to the front desk VM. I then decided to call the BILLING department, at this point my appt is well over.
I reached a lovely gentleman named Jay in Billing. He proceeded to call the front desk, when he couldn’t reach he said he had emailed them and to wait for a call. Someone did call me back to R/S shortly after he emailed, she informed me she was the ONLY ONE at the front desk… no bueno! So she apologized and got me set up for later that same day for my FIRST appt w/ my counselor. (Hence why I was so agitated. I needed this first session)
Jay also FOLLOWED UP the next day to make sure I received a call back. I appreciate his kindness and his outstanding work ethic. :) thanks to him, I am content w/ services.
(My counselor was also pretty cool so far)

I've been seeing Rebecca at Discovery Cove for almost a year. She's been incredibly helpful and supportive; I recommend her to all my friends.
I'm also impressed with how things were handled following the covid lockdown. I was contacted after a few weeks to ask if I'd like to start scheduling virtual appointments (I did and they are helpful. Even times I've forgotten about an appointment, I'll get a call a few minutes after my scheduled appointment time to remind me to log on). Now with their office back open I'm still offered a choice between in office or virtual appointments; as someone in a high risk group and someone who would have to find childcare, I appreciate the ability to continue virtually.
