Where do I start...Checked into Burkwood on 09/25/2023 a shell of the person i once was for my 8th attempt at treatment a hopeless dope addict and the man who left 42 days later was almost unrecognizable as the same person. I am going to keep this short and to the point. This place saved my life! To anyone who has been to treatment before and failed to stay sober after I have an easy recipe for success i will lay out for you and if it worked for me it can work for anyone and here it is. Call burkwood make a plan, show up, Surrender(#1 biggest thing you have to do) and by that i mean just give in to the process and listen to what they are saying even when you want to question why just do what they are telling you they are not doing what their doing for any other reason then it flipping works, next is get involved and share with your peers and last but not least don't leave till they tell you your ready to and follow their recommendations its just that easy! The food at burkwood was amazing the staff was amazing and the accommodations overall were also amazing! Special thanks to Cheryl, Kelly M, Will, Kevin, Jake, Aaron and that's just a few of the people who made my recovery possible and as magical as it was!

Front desk people are always so nice and helpful. My Therapist is the second best I ve ever had and I can go back 25 years experience with them. Other Therapists I had was when I lived in Michigan and he was the best by far. But I have lived in four states in the 35 years of my 60 year life to compare Good and Bad Therapists.I moved back home in 2015 and have seen her ever since then, and I also recommend a therapist to everyone because it s a great way to dump your baggage, and I know that it isn t going to be said to no one anywhere at any point to be thrown back in your face.I also like having feed back when dealing with issues whether it s family, friends or husband or even children issues.

Gwen and Scott are the best. I tried other treatments, but this one is definitely the best. All the other ones I tried, were for profit, and it truly showed, they were more interested in moving you to a higher level of care than actually helping you. My advice, always choose a non profit treatment facility, and Canvas is the one I chose and I highly recommend it.

This facility and their program is amazing and saved my life. I have been in this program 4 times I believe. This is not because the program was ineffective but because I was battling a lifetime of issues. The staff is like family to me, they genuinely care and they played a huge role in changing my life. I also participated in their aftercare programs PHP/ partial hospitalization program and the step down program from that was the AMHOP/ adult mental health outpatient program. These were also very effective and a key factor in my rehabilitation. After care is so important, although this was stressed when I was completing my treatment plan I did not take advantage of these services the first few times I completed the inpatient program. However after completing both after care programs, I understood the importance and have been able to maintain my mental health and sobriety. Most everyone dealing with addiction knows 9.8/10, we are self medicating dealing with severe underlying mental health issues. So addressing both issues at the same time was definitely what the missing piece to the puzzle. I highly recommend Mercy Hospital Unity Campus! Oh I didn’t mention the food and beds, way better than any other facility I have been to! I could go on and on about the many positive attributes, but I won’t. The staff is so warm and welcoming, you will feel right at home! I could go on and on about the many positive attributes, but I won’t. Definitely worth investing your time, you will NOT regret your decision to give it a try!

I'd recommend this place for anyone looking for a great n new experience with treatment. They treated us like adults. Not a fan of hospitals, I made a visit to a cousin of mine who just had surgery. I walked into her room and the first thing that hit me was the clean smell. Her bedding was so clean and crisp and inviting I decided any future surgeries for me will be a FV Lakes. Not a dust bunny in site and I had no fear of using the restroom. When her food arrived that looked and smelled nummy too. Keep up the good work.

My previous clinic (downtown mpls) closed and so I made an appointment with Janet for my annual checkup based on reading about her background and experience. I did have to wait a while past my appointment time to be seen, however the care I received was well worth it. The nurse that took my vitals was kind and warm, and asked good questions. She gave me my most painless flu shot I ve ever had! I had prepared some health questions for Janet and she listened to all my concerns, and provided knowledgeable care. I did not feel like I was being rushed, and left knowing I had found my new doctor.

While I can't speak for the in-person services provided, we had a wonderful experience via phone communication. We were trying to help a family member navigate treatment options. We called on a Saturday to discuss what detox services might look like. Tony was the staff member who took our call. He was incredibly informative, kind and non-judgmental. He explained the process for being admitted, what to expect over the days of treatment, and also what we could expect from our family member specific to meth withdrawal. We were fortunate that we were able to get our family member directly into an intensive residential treatment facility, but the information he provided was so helpful in the interim! It took me a couple of months to get around to writing this review, but huge shout out to Tony!

I moved from Florida to have a surgery done at Gillette for my daughter with CP. She had a surgery about five years ago and the aftercare has been wonderful! Her surgeon Dr. Georgiotis did a beautiful job. He explained everything in detail. He has great bedside manner, and has treated us very well over the years. We also enjoyed our stay there which included a one week stay after the surgery, and another 4 to 5 weeks stay for her inpatient.

If I could remember everyone s names from start to finish of our 24 hour stay I would certainly give thanks to them all. Every single staff member we came across was beyond kind and helpful. My daughter and son had amazing experiences and they actually have BRAGGED about surgery to their little 4 and 2 year old friends. You guys made everything so easy. I was beyond impressed with everyone however I d like to give one specific shout out to Megan a PICU RN that was spending her time in the Rehab unit. She was our first nurse to attend to our recovery room with my son for his 24 hour stay. My son loved her and she was GREAT with him. Made sure she got to know him, showered him with love, and constantly was his cheerleader. Hoping she receives some sort of recognition or more for her excellent patient care.

Great experience so far. Everyone has been so friendly and helpful. The "lines" that exist at other clinics don't appear to exist at this place. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes for anything. It's very clean outside, you don't have people at the entrance asking if you want to buy Xanax and other b.s.I have nothing negative to say, just an overall good experience. Very greatful for this place.

I see Christine and Lord used her as a tool to help me through the most difficult time. I had many med issues that were causing sever side effects and my body was having to go very slow to stop them. She has a Cardiac background which is helpful for me.From my first visit, she was compassionate and caring. I trusted her and everything worked out. Dr. Bachman is hands down one of the best M.D. on my medical team. For several years he has demonstrated a level of professionalism that stands above the rest in the medical industry. Dr. Bachman develops personalized approaches for his patients. He treats you like you are his top priority and not just a number. The level of care he provides is top of the line. I've been going to this location a lot because of where I live. The front desk people are friendly. I am thankful that they are able to see me regardless of an appointment or urgent care. The nurses actually make it better for their patients because it can be stressful. They are enthusiastic. As a professional scare actor, I always get sick in the fall and I can depend on them to get me the care I need.Even though Urgent Care can be busy and you might wait a long time, they still see as many patients as they can. I have fought my mental health since I was a teen. (51 now)I was in United Hospital for a few weeks after being off my meds and having some "issues". After the hospital I came here for 90 days of intensive treatment. It has literally changed my life and outlook ON life more than I could've ever imagined. The staff and the other residents have been amazing. I got my meds all lined up and have been taking them religiously. The groups and the actual treatment has helped me enormously to the point that friends I had lost because of WHO I had become with my bipolar flaring up have come back and are so supportive. I will never forget what Maghakian Place has done for me and there's still two months to go. If you need help, trust me....it's out there. Don't be afraid to WIN the battle you've been fighting!!!!! Two weeks ago today, we came in for my husband s knee surgery. We were greeted at 6:00 am at check in and they were very helpful and cheerful for that early and very cold morning.We were guided along to where surgery would be and I was given a tour of the waiting room area. The hospital was very clean and easy to get around. Each nurse I met with was extremely kind and informative of what the next steps were after surgery was complete.The pharmacy had all our prescriptions ready and gave very complete instructions.We felt we were in good hands and would definitely go to the Hudson Hospital again.
