My experience over the past 5 years has been mostly POSITIVE. I personally believe active involvement in therapy given my chronic conditions of Bi-polar and Anxiety are critical to my coping and overall management of these diagnoses. Medication management and FINDING the BEST medication can be a challenging and overwhelming situation not to mention some of the side effects. I couldn't begin to tell you how many and how long before finding what medications worked, my "life savers" as I often say. I wouldn't be here today if I hadn't had support from my therapists during what I call being a "gueina pig". My point here is through the years (30), I have had many experiences and many psychiatrists and psychologists, and therapist. Northern Pines, Julie Hoyt is a diamond in the rough and I use this phrase as we all know how "rough" the area of mental health is and the tough roads endured. I am so blessed to have found Julie when I moved to MN 5 years ago. I tell her all the time that she can't ever retire! She is God's gift to me and this profession. Thank you Julie. Also, Joanne and the front desk schedulers are always most helpful. Happy retirement to Joanne. Sadly, the CNP who prescribed my medication left some time ago. That was difficult dealing with replacing my medication needs as no available backup to handle all the needs. Having a plan in place and hiring additional Medicare eligible therapists are my only recommendations. As much as I don't want Julie to EVER retire, it would be wise to have an additional Medicare eligible therapist. Overall, I give you 5 stars, or should I say I give Julie 5+ stars. I will keep on shining or know that on those days of darkness, Julie will help me realize I'll shine another day. Thank you for having such an amazing therapist on your staffing team and on my continuing care team. Let's all cheer, "Julie your the best, Julie your the best, Because Julie your the best, you can't retire n rest.". Ha! Oh I should say by no means has Julie mentioned retiring, it's all coming from my head. Everyone please Keep Yourself Healthy and Erase the Stigma! Remember therapists are ALWAYS there, find yours that fits!

My partner, Diane, recently underwent surgery to remove and replace her port, performed by Dr. Duinick. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Dr. Duinick’s skill, compassion, and calm bedside manner gave us complete confidence and comfort throughout the process. The nursing staff, anesthesiologist Dr. Kippes, pre-operative nurse, Shane, and post-operative nurse Paige were all professional, caring, and attentive. Every staff member we encountered was welcoming and thorough, making Diane feel comfortable and well cared for at every step. I went here about 2 years ago and I am so greatful I did. The staff and owners are great people who care about clients. I made life-long friends, shared in many laughs and learned a lot about myself and addiction. One of the best things about Sobriety First is that they will bring clients to AA/NA events all over the state and even some outside Minnesota! They will do this for free and pay all expenses (hotel, campsite, food, snacks, water, energy drinks, and entry fees). This place changed my life and showed me how to have fun and make countless friends in the recovery community ❤️

I just want to sincerely say Thank you, to the bunch at Milestones. Jaylen Jimenez is the go to person for the house if you have any concerns or goals you what to achieve without anything holding you back don't hesitate to talk to Jaylen. The staff at Milestones were open minded to my concerns with the addiction and mental illness combined to help me be aware of some of the reasons for my addiction . This programs will focus on how and what COPING SKILLS are and how they can help or assist you with some of your underlying issues.Which made me a be self-aware of my environment I was surrounding myself in or what was brought on within my gene pool that i was diagnosed with. Therefore, understanding how to use coping skills came daily a routine I utilized to make me stronger individual to battle any triggers that I'll experience with the hear and now. A trigger is anything that you remember from your past that either brings a memory to have been negative or positive. It's what you do to process those memories and give them acknowledgement but do not let them affect you so you can't move forward. With the time you have to put 100% into your treatment plan and the 100% from the staff will give you the reinsurance that you can give fine detail to your mental thought process Which can take sometime so settle in with Milestones to overcome any battles you may be facing! GO MILESTONES!

Most of the staff is great. The nurses and counselors are friendly. Very good at there job professionally and personally. Lee is the best tech, there are 1 or 2 techs that like to be sneaky and quiet when "monitoring" the clients. The director is strict, rightfully so. She is also fair when situations arise. The food is amazing. 24/7 baked goodies and ice cream. 3 in house cooked meals served buffet style, with 2 snacks made everyday. Left overs come out at 9pm every night. Usually only 6 max women at a time with 20+ men. Women and Men aren't allowed to sit together during meals. Also cannot play cards or other activities co-ed. 2 people to a room. Twin beds. The women are downstairs, I know they get sinks in there room, bathroom with shower and toilet in hall. One bathroom is shared by all women. I don't believe the men have sinks in their rooms up stairs. If you are a man and get lucky enough to be in 1 of the 3 rooms reserved for men downstairs, you'd get a sink. It is an old preiest recovery center. There is no A/C so summers are HOT. Visitors are allowed 3x a week. If I had to choose a treatment to to go to I would choose 10x over again everytime. A +++ gold star treatment.

I’ve been to Pine Manor twice and both times were fantastic. The director is a little unhinged but other than her I had a very positive experience. I feel bad reading the comments of people who had bad experiences because I literally can’t complain about a thing. This place changed my life! Without Karen Hutchins and Threase Meyer, I wouldn't be where I am today. I came in broken and left with a huge amount of healing in my life. Wow! What a journey. Please take this seriously for those in addition or wanting to recover! I went here during covid season 2020 when I got my DUI. I was regretting it, didn't take it seriously, etc. I did my month time stay there. Went home continued with addiction cause I still didn't care. After mother's day weekend on 05.09.22 was my first day of sobriety. I'm still sober to this day. Let me tell you what, I've had the most fantastic experiences and time of my life sober! Looking back, wish I'd took things seriously. I even got off probation this year in June. I wasn't supposed to get off until November next year 2024. I mean God's work is honestly a blessing and you definitely feel him working thru you. I remember starting out here at this place, they said "higher power" and I'm like naw, I don't got that. Not even my kids. Oh yeah, God is my highest power! This place is amazing! Trust me! Great staff, food, location, etc! Just please get help! It's not worth your life ending on bad terms! I will never go back to that life style. Sobriety is just the coolest 😎 Lord the energy you have, stability, motivation, passion to keep striving and going in life! Yes!! No more laziness! It’s a decent place lots going on always and people coming and going appeared to be clean and the food in cafeteria was absolutely great!! The doctors are mostly new but most are educated and detailed with their patients and never seemed to have issues scheduling appointments. Great job VA Hospital

Everything is done in a timely fashion. I don’t have to call but once to get an appointment, it’s easy to access my therapist and so far the customer service has been great. I like my therapist she’s thoughtful and listens to what I say. She has helped me with sleeping meds, which I really appreciate.

I have guessed dosed and been a patient at over 15 clinics, across the U.S., so I have a large amount of clinic experience..
