I went in for an outpatient procedure and it couldn't have been a more pleasant experience. From Surgeon Dr. Duininck, Anesthesiologist Dr. McGlinch, Radiogist Dr. Kroll, SDS Nurse Paige, OR Nurse Dylan, and Ultrasound Tech Katie, I was treated with respect. Everone excelled in showing care, compassion and concern about my well-being. I have had many surgical procedures, and this was the first time that the anesthesiologist visited with me before AND after the procedure. I wouldn't hesitate to have another surgical procedure at St. Joseph's.

Mary is amazing! She basically saved my life! Shantel and Joe and super friendly and go above and beyond to help make visits as easy and smooth as possible. Marie and Amy (nurses) really know their stuff and care about their patients.
I highly recommend Valhalla (now BMC or something like that). Follow the rules of the program and everything will go smoothly for you. My life is a complete 180 from before I started going to Valhalla.
As a veteran who’s faced my fair share of personal battles, I know I haven’t always handled things the best way—at times, I let my struggles spill over and made them everyone else’s problem, but did I learn something from everyone there.
But through it all, the VA stood by me. With patience, compassion, and a willingness to meet me where I was, they helped me find a way forward. I wasn’t just a case number—I was treated like a human being trying to heal and rebuild. That made all the difference.
To the doctors, counselors, staff, and everyone who kept showing up, even when I wasn’t easy to work with—thank you. Your support helped me see past the anger and confusion and toward a life I can be proud of again. I'm truly grateful.
