I went here about 2 years ago and I am so greatful I did. The staff and owners are great people who care about clients. I made life-long friends, shared in many laughs and learned a lot about myself and addiction. One of the best things about Sobriety First is that they will bring clients to AA/NA events all over the state and even some outside Minnesota! My son is very autistic and needed tests to be done in order to find out why he was sick. The staff did a wonderful job helping us as our son does not tolerate hospital visits and needed special care to have blood and swabs taken. Given how terribly busy it was, our time there was much faster than I anticipated. One nurse even gave our son a toy car to ease his discomfort. Everyone treated him with such care and understanding. I am so happy they were able to help us figure out what was wrong with our son.

I called made appointment on a Monday. I was there most of the day. But i got started on it 3yrs ago. They started me out at 5-Mg, The counlers are very nice, and helpful.The Receptionist are So Nice!! They keep the inside & outside of the clinic Very Nice & Clean. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is struggling with addiction. I believe it has saved my girlfriend from her own addiction and over doses.

Mary is amazing! She basically saved my life! Shantel and Joe and super friendly and go above and beyond to help make visits as easy and smooth as possible. Marie and Amy (nurses) really know their stuff and care about their patients.I highly recommend Valhalla (now BMC or something like that). Follow the rules of the program and everything will go smoothly for you. My life is a complete 180 from before I started going to Valhalla.

My son is currently on his second stay at the Adolescent treatment program. Although we aren't happy that he had to return for more help, I knew that he was returning to a safe and nurturing environment where the staff would be courteous and respectful of his needs. He has a lot of anger, and has been working it out with people who understand his mental illness and genuinely care about his recovery. I am very happy that they encourage a high level of family participation in his recovery, as we all need to make changes for things to get better. I feel completely confident that my son is getting the best care possible, and I am provided with updates whenever I ask for them. I trust this facility with my son's life, and I'm not sure that there is a higher level of respect than that. Not everything is perfect - of course - but that's because we are all human.

It was pretty fun for a while but I don't like a particular staff member because she was a little mean but I loved the nurse for the adolescents, she was awesome. They handled my diabetes really well but there wasn't much time for actually working on myself.

I think it's personally an amazing place the sad thing is it's only 4-6 weeks I love the art teachers one of them helped me crochet the adolescent group is pretty nice I don't know anything about child unit but the EA is pretty good it's more strict then adolescent but it's still pretty fun I recommend going here if you need help :)
