I went here about 2 years ago and I am so greatful I did. The staff and owners are great people who care about clients. I made life-long friends, shared in many laughs and learned a lot about myself and addiction. One of the best things about Sobriety First is that they will bring clients to AA/NA events all over the state and even some outside Minnesota! They will do this for free and pay all expenses (hotel, campsite, food, snacks, water, energy drinks, and entry fees). This place changed my life and showed me how to have fun and make countless friends in the recovery community ❤️

It’s a decent place lots going on always and people coming and going appeared to be clean and the food in cafeteria was absolutely great!! The doctors are mostly new but most are educated and detailed with their patients and never seemed to have issues scheduling appointments. Great job VA Hospital

I guessed dosed at this clinic and was very happy with the facility and staff. The clinic seems to be a modern, efficient, and capable facility. I have guessed dosed and been a patient at over 15 clinics, across the U.S., so I have a large amount of clinic experience.. Dr. Duinick’s skill, compassion, and calm bedside manner gave us complete confidence and comfort throughout the process. The nursing staff, anesthesiologist Dr. Kippes, pre-operative nurse, Shane, and post-operative nurse Paige were all professional, caring, and attentive. Every staff member we encountered was welcoming and thorough, making Diane feel comfortable and well cared for at every step. What stood out most was not only the excellent medical care, but also the positive and supportive atmosphere among the staff. It is clear they truly enjoy working together, and that culture reflects directly in the patient experience. it was awhile ago that i was there but i still miss it. I miss the people and all the friendships i made, the thing is you cant really stay in contact which makes sense. i enjoyed focus at the start of the day and playing gang beasts with the other patients, that was probably my favorite part. on wednesdays we had a dog named Story come in and he is absolutely adorable, i got many pictures with him. The staff are nice and welcoming, my favorites were Joe and Grant, they were very funny. on tuesdays it would be tacos for lunch and Joe would often throw the left over tortillas for us to catch, its a small thing but an amazing memory. Claras House helped me notice that i was in a unhealthy relationship and once i broke up with him ive been so much happier and at peace. overall i think this place is helpful but its completely understandable to be nervous for the first few days, i was but i noticed how sweet the other patients and staff were and i warmed up.

This hospital saved my life! I was flown in from my hometown as they couldn't do much with me. I don't remember much but waking up after being placed on a breathing tube. I woke up to very kind, reassuring, helpful ect... nurses, doctors and respiratory therapist. I am a healthy 43 year old women but I was very sick. I was very well taken care of. Genuine good nurses. While I was intubated my husband and mom also said the nurses were amazing. I thank you all very much for your genuine care! I was in ICU for a few days i wish I could remember the names as the staff was wonderful. One nurse I remember very well and that is Britt. She was amazing! You can tell she honestly cares about her patients. Thank you for all your hard work!

Came here for a consult/stay on the OB 3rd floor wing and had great experiences with the nursing staff over the weekend and had good attention from OB doctors as well. Rooms were comfortable and cleaned every day and the food selection is great but would appreciate if a support person didn’t have to pay out of pocket for their meal. Also it was mentioned to us by an employee that access from the South ramp used to be open and was very convenient but due to staffing cuts they closed that so you have to take quite an indirect route up there.

My son is currently on his second stay at the Adolescent treatment program. Although we aren't happy that he had to return for more help, I knew that he was returning to a safe and nurturing environment where the staff would be courteous and respectful of his needs. He has a lot of anger, and has been working it out with people who understand his mental illness and genuinely care about his recovery. I am very happy that they encourage a high level of family participation in his recovery, as we all need to make changes for things to get better. I feel completely confident that my son is getting the best care possible, and I am provided with updates whenever I ask for them. I trust this facility with my son's life, and I'm not sure that there is a higher level of respect than that. Not everything is perfect - of course - but that's because we are all human.

I just want to sincerely say Thank you, to the bunch at Milestones. Jaylen Jimenez is the go to person for the house if you have any concerns or goals you what to achieve without anything holding you back don't hesitate to talk to Jaylen. The staff at Milestones were open minded to my concerns with the addiction and mental illness combined to help me be aware of some of the reasons for my addiction . This programs will focus on how and what COPING SKILLS are and how they can help or assist you with some of your underlying issues.Which made me a be self-aware of my environment I was surrounding myself in or what was brought on within my gene pool that i was diagnosed with. Therefore, understanding how to use coping skills came daily a routine I utilized to make me stronger individual to battle any triggers that I'll experience with the hear and now. A trigger is anything that you remember from your past that either brings a memory to have been negative or positive. It's what you do to process those memories and give them acknowledgement but do not let them affect you so you can't move forward. Sobriety First Treatment Center is by far one of the best Treatment Centers i have ever been apart of. The community of Sobriety First is the longest standing community of people in recovery I have yet to see. The events they put on for clients and family have been one of the most essential parts of my recovery. My experience over the past 5 years has been mostly POSITIVE. I personally believe active involvement in therapy given my chronic conditions of Bi-polar and Anxiety are critical to my coping and overall management of these diagnoses. Medication management and FINDING the BEST medication can be a challenging and overwhelming situation not to mention some of the side effects. I couldn't begin to tell you how many and how long before finding what medications worked, my "life savers" as I often say. I wouldn't be here today if I hadn't had support from my therapists during what I call being a "gueina pig". My point here is through the years (30), I have had many experiences and many psychiatrists and psychologists, and therapist. Northern Pines, Julie Hoyt is a diamond in the rough and I use this phrase as we all know how "rough" the area of mental health is and the tough roads endured. I am so blessed to have found Julie when I moved to MN 5 years ago. I tell her all the time that she can't ever retire! She is God's gift to me and this profession. Thank you Julie. Also, Joanne and the front desk schedulers are always most helpful. Happy retirement to Joanne. Sadly, the CNP who prescribed my medication left some time ago. That was difficult dealing with replacing my medication needs as no available backup to handle all the needs. Having a plan in place and hiring additional Medicare eligible therapists are my only recommendations. As much as I don't want Julie to EVER retire, it would be wise to have an additional Medicare eligible therapist. Overall, I give you 5 stars, or should I say I give Julie 5+ stars. I will keep on shining or know that on those days of darkness, Julie will help me realize I'll shine another day. Thank you for having such an amazing therapist on your staffing team and on my continuing care team. Let's all cheer, "Julie your the best, Julie your the best, Because Julie your the best, you can't retire n rest.". Ha! Oh I should say by no means has Julie mentioned retiring, it's all coming from my head. Everyone please Keep Yourself Healthy and Erase the Stigma! Remember therapists are ALWAYS there, find yours that fits!
