It’s a decent place lots going on always and people coming and going appeared to be clean and the food in cafeteria was absolutely great!! The doctors are mostly new but most are educated and detailed with their patients and never seemed to have issues scheduling appointments. Great job VA Hospital

I guessed dosed at this clinic and was very happy with the facility and staff. The clinic seems to be a modern, efficient, and capable facility. I have guessed dosed and been a patient at over 15 clinics, across the U.S., so I have a large amount of clinic experience.. it was awhile ago that i was there but i still miss it. I miss the people and all the friendships i made, the thing is you cant really stay in contact which makes sense. i enjoyed focus at the start of the day and playing gang beasts with the other patients, that was probably my favorite part. on wednesdays we had a dog named Story come in and he is absolutely adorable, i got many pictures with him. The staff are nice and welcoming, my favorites were Joe and Grant, they were very funny. on tuesdays it would be tacos for lunch and Joe would often throw the left over tortillas for us to catch, its a small thing but an amazing memory. Claras House helped me notice that i was in a unhealthy relationship and once i broke up with him ive been so much happier and at peace. overall i think this place is helpful but its completely understandable to be nervous for the first few days, i was but i noticed how sweet the other patients and staff were and i warmed up.

This hospital saved my life! I was flown in from my hometown as they couldn't do much with me. I don't remember much but waking up after being placed on a breathing tube. I woke up to very kind, reassuring, helpful ect... nurses, doctors and respiratory therapist. I am a healthy 43 year old women but I was very sick. I was very well taken care of. Genuine good nurses. While I was intubated my husband and mom also said the nurses were amazing. I thank you all very much for your genuine care! I was in ICU for a few days i wish I could remember the names as the staff was wonderful. One nurse I remember very well and that is Britt. She was amazing! You can tell she honestly cares about her patients. Thank you for all your hard work!

Came here for a consult/stay on the OB 3rd floor wing and had great experiences with the nursing staff over the weekend and had good attention from OB doctors as well. Rooms were comfortable and cleaned every day and the food selection is great but would appreciate if a support person didn’t have to pay out of pocket for their meal. Also it was mentioned to us by an employee that access from the South ramp used to be open and was very convenient but due to staffing cuts they closed that so you have to take quite an indirect route up there.

My son is currently on his second stay at the Adolescent treatment program. Although we aren't happy that he had to return for more help, I knew that he was returning to a safe and nurturing environment where the staff would be courteous and respectful of his needs. He has a lot of anger, and has been working it out with people who understand his mental illness and genuinely care about his recovery. I am very happy that they encourage a high level of family participation in his recovery, as we all need to make changes for things to get better. I feel completely confident that my son is getting the best care possible, and I am provided with updates whenever I ask for them. I trust this facility with my son's life, and I'm not sure that there is a higher level of respect than that. Not everything is perfect - of course - but that's because we are all human.

Sobriety First Treatment Center is by far one of the best Treatment Centers i have ever been apart of. The community of Sobriety First is the longest standing community of people in recovery I have yet to see. The events they put on for clients and family have been one of the most essential parts of my recovery. Dr. Dean Watkins was my therapist for many years. Fortunately, I was able to see him again upon returning to Minnesota in 2023 - until just recently. He is the warmest, most compassionate doctor I’ve ever had in my 63 years. The staff is always gracious and welcoming. If I return to St Cloud I will return to Behavioral Health at CentraCare Plaza.

this place was great and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. they worked with my other advocates which other inpatients i’ve been placed at have failed to do often for me. it’s not the most fun of inpatients, but it’s overall a good place to get treatment and i’d recommend this inpatient way more than many of the other inpatients i’ve been to. no judgement, much assistance, and very good people that work there. thank you all !!

I started treatment for severe PTSD, anxiety, and depression during covid-19 lockdowns. I initially wanted to be evaluated for any diagnosis, and then the woman interviewing me recommended me to Ms. Morris. She saw me for maybe a year? Or a bit longer. Absolutely wonderful woman to work with, extremely thorough, and listened to what I needed to say. I really appreciate that the woman who saw me for my evaluation knew who to direct me to. I think that's an extremely important thing for healthcare providers to be able to do; acknowledge that their patient might not be someone they can treat, and then direct them to the right provider who can.

This place changed my life! Without Karen Hutchins and Threase Meyer, I wouldn't be where I am today. I came in broken and left with a huge amount of healing in my life. Awsome place they'll do whatever they can to provide anything a person needs, they are very good at keeping the community safe and have no problem weeding the ones who use on the property, it is a drug and alcohol free place. And they are very direct about this.

Came here for a consult/stay on the OB 3rd floor wing and had great experiences with the nursing staff over the weekend and had good attention from OB doctors as well. Rooms were comfortable and cleaned every day and the food selection is great but would appreciate if a support person didn’t have to pay out of pocket for their meal. Also it was mentioned to us by an employee that access from the South ramp used to be open and was very convenient but due to staffing cuts they closed that so you have to take quite an indirect route up there.

My journey in recovery began just over 10 yrs ago. When I went to my first treatment center, I wasn't even old enough to legally drink. I have been to 4x different rehabs on 6x occasions. I have both years long periods of sobriety and of relapse. Vinland is the most complete program I have ever been able to experience. It is exactly what I needed. I do believe that one's environment can influence their experience, eg the qualities of a treatment facility; it's staff, programming, and faculty etc, but perhaps more important of a factor when it comes to success is the attitude one brings into that environment. Vinland provided me with what I needed to heal. In my daily groups, I was exposed to a variety of treatment models/lenses: cbt, dbt, AA, NA, fitness, nutrition, literary analysis and sports psych., faith, science, games, discussion, etc and even riddles (s/o Angie 2.) Ie various philosophies both modern and ancient. This team goes out of their way to support your unique needs whether you are ready to believe in yourself or not. I have found that those willing to recover and change often do so more than those who do not believe change to be worthwhile, ie the only thing in your way is you, and even then they have your back... so imo it is clinically foolish to suggest otherwise in most instances. Each of my 52 days, I was met with various individuals willing to go out of their way to make sure I felt seen and cared for, which necessarily included being held accountable and challenged. No environment or attitude is perfect. Improvement can always be made. I do however believe it is ridiculous to portray Vinland as an obstacle to recovery. I think those people who blame Vinland for their negative experience are confusing it with what is likely more of an internal shortcoming, ie most if not all claims of neglect, indifference, incompetence etc average out as irrational. I found nearly all staff at Vinland to be exceptionally caring and competent. I was also blessed to be surrounded by incredible peers. I found strength here and I will forever be grateful for these connections. Thank you in particular to Molly, Murph (Human), Lauren, Hannah, Austin, Janina, Jeff, Allana, Elle, Kayla, Mary, Sherri, Erin, Mick, Connie, Amanda & even Bernie's unruly ass too, B.D. I used for 20 some yrs i went to the dr and they told my mom straight out i was going to end up dieing from my addiction i went to a 12 step program in st cloud 12 times somehow by the grace of god we found vinland i would of lost my family if it wasn't for vinland ive been sober over 17 yrs now even now I still call the overnight staff till this day i dont get to talk to them very often but they do there checks and they might not be in the office this place is great
