I had some issues with my appointment/mychart, but the staff there went above and beyond for me to make what they could happen given the circumstances, and they absolutely did not have to. Their service completely nullified the "bumps in the road" we had for me from my perspective.My doctor also went above and beyond! He was completely realistic with me, answered any and all of my questions and also seemed to be a very relatable guy.Not once during my visit did I feel that he or any of the staff weren't taking my experiences seriously and that's awesome.

i go to iop here, every single day i wake up and im looking forward to going. the staff are so friendly and make the place very welcoming. i love coming here and sharing my experiences with my peers and counselor, everyone listens and gives feedback (if wanted) and it s nice to know im not alone in my struggles. the building its self if very calming and doesn t get me overwhelmed or overstimulated. if i do get upset about something i can go to the iop program manager and talk to her in her office, where she listens to me if i don t feel comfortable sharing in a medium environment. all of the counselors understand we are going through a hard time and have our own struggles, they put their every bit of attention onto the patients and make sure if they have needs, they are met. this program accepts adolescents and adults who are struggling, i know so many people who have had success in their sobriety due to this program. i love this place and i would 1000% recommend trying it out.

My experience at Vinland was inspiring to me. It helped me with a lot of time to reflect on myself. It let me get back into practicing routine. Participating in groups and meetings. Started to eat healthier. I got back into shape by exercising. Including running again after years of not. Having the opportunity to appreciate nature again. This facility and their program is amazing and saved my life. I have been in this program 4 times I believe. This is not because the program was ineffective but because I was battling a lifetime of issues. The staff is like family to me, they genuinely care and they played a huge role in changing my life. I also participated in their aftercare programs PHP/ partial hospitalization program and the step down program from that was the AMHOP/ adult mental health outpatient program. These were also very effective and a key factor in my rehabilitation. After care is so important, although this was stressed when I was completing my treatment plan I did not take advantage of these services the first few times I completed the inpatient program. However after completing both after care programs, I understood the importance and have been able to maintain my mental health and sobriety. Most everyone dealing with addiction knows 9.8/10, we are self medicating dealing with severe underlying mental health issues. So addressing both issues at the same time was definitely what the missing piece to the puzzle. I highly recommend Mercy Hospital Unity Campus! Oh I didn’t mention the food and beds, way better than any other facility I have been to! I could go on and on about the many positive attributes, but I won’t. The staff is so warm and welcoming, you will feel right at home! I could go on and on about the many positive attributes, but I won’t. Definitely worth investing your time, you will NOT regret your decision to give it a try!

I had my first visit yesterday. The doctor was extremely thorough with the exam, asking questions about things I have long forgotten. He and the rest of the staff were very polite and patient. She tickles me!The Director, Dr. Erickson just retired after three decades! He is the kindest caring person you could ever hope to have. His presence will be missed by everyone. A bureaucrat he was not!! During Covid he was right out front inthe midst of it. Making sure the testing protocols were running properly. He was in the clinic on Saturdays! He saw patients along with the other staff. In other words he walked the talk! So congratulations Dr. Erickson on a career well done! Thank you for being youThere are so many more people that have been great to me over the years.In Behavioral Health, Therapist Ann Sparks, who is another person that is retiring this February. I will miss her very much. She has been very good to me. I felt safe telling my stories to her and she was always there for me with clarity and sage advice. Empathy when needed and a gentle but firm push when required.Dr. Alton is another person that is a good physician to have to have on your corner team. He steers the boat to where you need it to go. He keeps you grounded and I appreciate it.I don t want to forget the Health CareAttendants. They make the patient feelat at ease and take care of basic requirements for the doctors charts. This enables the doctors to spend moretime talking with their patience. Time is so valuable between a doctor and their patient. They make easier for the doctors to their jobs easier and more efficient. They are the ones that do the set ups and the finish parts as well.The front desk/ referral / triage department are the crew that makes all of Northpoint work. Their job is no easy task rather on the phone or face to face! I ve seen some delicate situations handled with kindness, patience, compassion and professionalism.I appreciate their dedication and patience they exhibit everyday on the job. They treat me with o and respect (the old school staffers know me well).I know this was a long review but this is a very special place with very special people working here.

My previous clinic (downtown mpls) closed and so I made an appointment with Janet for my annual checkup based on reading about her background and experience. I did have to wait a while past my appointment time to be seen, however the care I received was well worth it. The nurse that took my vitals was kind and warm, and asked good questions. She gave me my most painless flu shot I ve ever had! I had prepared some health questions for Janet and she listened to all my concerns, and provided knowledgeable care. I did not feel like I was being rushed, and left knowing I had found my new doctor.

100% recommended. I have been going for the last 5 years for my daughters and I. Everyone always treats you kindly despite the fact that they are so busy. It's nice that you can access MyChart, and you always get a response in a timely manner. Schedulers, check-in, nurses, and doctors are always very kind and efficient. There is plenty of parking, and it s right off highway 494.
