I rarely give 5 stars but Esther Yankey is incredible! She gave me hope and she actually helped me! I was seeing a different provider for short term help dealing with a really difficult divorce, over medicated and lack of proper understanding of medication led to a lot more difficulties. I reached out and I got Esther... she listened, understood, and cared! If you are navigating trying to get off of any type of medication, especially anxiety medications, please see Esther!

Tammee Nevergall was lovely to work with. She was gentle and understanding with my 9 year old. Staff was friendly, helpful, and we felt safe, cared for, and respected.

I can't say enough good things about Transformation House. My experience here was a night and day difference from my previous treatment center. My counselor was incredible – so empathetic and understanding, which made it easier to be honest and work through things. The entire staff genuinely cares about your well-being. It's clear they're not just going through the motions. What I appreciated most was that they focused on helping me find the right path forward, even after I left. The outpatient program they connected me with was fantastic. Today, I'm proud to say I've graduated, I'm in college, I have a job, and most importantly, I have my kids back in my life. My advice to anyone going to Transformation House is to be honest with yourself and your counselor, and truly commit to the process. Stop making excuses and put in the work – they will meet you where you are and provide the support you need. I also built some strong connections with the other women there. The staff creates a supportive environment, but ultimately, your willingness to change is key. Transformation House truly changed my life, and I'm incredibly grateful for how far I've come.

Place saved my life and helped turn me around and doing so might have saved other because I did not care about human lives of you where between me and what I wanted it was bad for you and by me being there for a long time I learned to care for my neighbors and also became a man working full time and still doing out patient full time and every one cares for you from the owner to the techs it's a true honor being and alumni member from there

Oh where do I start? This place has Literally Changed my whole process on wanting to stay sober!! The atmosphere is great! Tho I didn’t need impatient Their out patient program is Great.

I love that they had therapy appointments available within 2 days of my call and was also able to schedule another appointment the next week same time. I have been to other clinics like ACP and private practices. It's unheard of to get a therapy session this fast, even my general doctor told me there is a long wait for getting therapy. To me, being there when I really need the help, not 5 weeks out, made all the difference in the world. I had a video session with Tiffany and found her to be very supportive and kind while collecting my first appointment info. She made me feel comfortable explaining how she approaches therapy - woven into my responses. It felt very reciprocal and reassuring.

This facility and their program is amazing and saved my life. I have been in this program 4 times I believe. This is not because the program was ineffective but because I was battling a lifetime of issues. The staff is like family to me, they genuinely care and they played a huge role in changing my life. I also participated in their aftercare programs PHP/ partial hospitalization program and the step down program from that was the AMHOP/ adult mental health outpatient program. These were also very effective and a key factor in my rehabilitation. After care is so important, although this was stressed when I was completing my treatment plan I did not take advantage of these services the first few times I completed the inpatient program. However after completing both after care programs, I understood the importance and have been able to maintain my mental health and sobriety. Most everyone dealing with addiction knows 9.8/10, we are self medicating dealing with severe underlying mental health issues. So addressing both issues at the same time was definitely what the missing piece to the puzzle. I highly recommend Mercy Hospital Unity Campus! Oh I didn’t mention the food and beds, way better than any other facility I have been to! I could go on and on about the many positive attributes, but I won’t. The staff is so warm and welcoming, you will feel right at home! I could go on and on about the many positive attributes, but I won’t. Definitely worth investing your time, you will NOT regret your decision to give it a try!

Went in a mess 16 beers a day extremely thirsty so I drank more beer. I wasn't passing water because my liver was so scarred and imflamed. Thought I would putz and brought projects but they allow nothing inside. Hardly books either because of hiding drugs. It wasn't long before I was aprt of a group of zombies milling about. Having to go get blood pressure checks etc. I wanted to be alone and meditate. Easy to get used to this carefree life. Most take advantage all agreeable to the BS to stay longer. The walls started to close in and I left after 3 days. I only have GOD to thank. But I needed to know I could not drink and live. Very hard but now I'm not afraid and I don't want so much. You have to decide.. I jonesd for cigarettes more than beer.

I have been in the intensive outpatient treatment program here for several months. I absolutely lucked out on my group. I have received so much support and have learned so much about addiction. I feel like I have gained the tools to maintain long term sobriety. Thank you Lyric!

Great service and great staff. I've visited other VA clinics all over the nation and they always leave something to be desired. This is the best one I've found and always to recommend it whenever I can.

All of my visits have had super nice staff that actually seem to care. The facility is very comfortable and doesn't feel like a medical center, it's nice.

Dr. Steffens was incredible this morning. It was my first time going to the clinic so I was uncertain about what to expect. I have heard good things about this location prior which ended up being accurate. I had multiple chances to ask any questions I had of Dr. Steffens throughout my appointment which was welcoming. When I had some labs done, the nurses were also incredible and friendly.

My previous clinic (downtown mpls) closed and so I made an appointment with Janet for my annual checkup based on reading about her background and experience. I did have to wait a while past my appointment time to be seen, however the care I received was well worth it. The nurse that took my vitals was kind and warm, and asked good questions. She gave me my most painless flu shot I’ve ever had! I had prepared some health questions for Janet and she listened to all my concerns, and provided knowledgeable care. I did not feel like I was being rushed, and left knowing I had found my new doctor.

The process to get recovery is very easy, I had never found a place like that. Make an appt is very quick. Doctors and counselors are really gentle. They saved my life!

I was in and out with blood work and MRI's done, staff was great, they were really nice and respectful to me as I was to them, they ( front desk and nurses ) were all wearing masks. I will be returning to Fairweiw Columbia Heights Clinic again. Great service.

...about Fairview Health Services. Someone close to me was struggling with alcoholism for years. After numerous DUIs and domestics had ran this person through nearly a dozen rounds of various extensive and intensive treatments and programming over a course of 15 years. They never stayed sober. Then one day after once again losing another family and concerned about the possibility of more criminal charges and getting caught up in a lengthy legal situationship this person decided they must overcome chemical independency once and for all. Before the family was even done packing to leave for good nd before any cop call or legal action initiated, the memory of another persons great testimony of Fairview came to mind and in no time the call was made to begin the process of getting help and committing to serious change- long term sobriety. Long story short the stay was quite comfortable and there was good food and plenty of it. Staff was knowledgably, even well 'experienced' themselves! lol! They began to look at their chemical dependency and its horrible effects on others rather than/much more-so than the consequences on self, such as jail, probation, fines, restitution and an overwhelming amount of classes, groups and treatments. This persons eyes were opened during the self admitted treatment at Fairview and in that, their remorse dove in to a desire to learn how to live free from chemicals in order to never again risk harming or God forbid killing others due to a selfish decision to drink or use. This person was never able to sober up if their own life counted on it let alone consider others but today thanks to fairview it has be several years without relapse this person and their use has not been a risk to others nor themself. Thanks Fairview for showing this person- even in a sense GIVING this person a new life.

Dr Gharib is a wonderful example for other Drs with how caring, compassionate putting my fears aside without shaming, arrogance when pts are feeling vulnerable, anxious.

After a very difficult and discouraging day dealing with other clinics, I came to Fairview feeling anxious, exhausted, and honestly a bit hopeless. Kristen changed everything. She treated me with genuine respect, patience, and kindness. She listened carefully, took my symptoms seriously, and never rushed me. For the first time today, I felt heard and understood. She provided clear medical explanations, validated my concerns, and helped me finally get the documentation I needed regarding my asthma flare and recent illness. The letter she wrote for me was thorough, professional, and thoughtfully worded. It reflected real care for the patient’s situation—not just “checking boxes,” but truly supporting me. Because of her compassion and professionalism, I have decided to make Kristen my new primary care provider moving forward. I am deeply grateful for her empathy and her dedication.
