This place changed my life! Without Karen Hutchins and Threase Meyer, I wouldn't be where I am today. I came in broken and left with a huge amount of healing in my life. Because of this place, I now have the tools to cope and help my own healing happen. I would recommend this place to anyone. If I needed counseling again, I would come here. Thank you, Northern Pines, for existing. So I could meet two wonderful counselors who transformed my life. Transform my life through guidance and teach me the tools to help me cope through life. I guessed dosed at this clinic and was very happy with the facility and staff. The clinic seems to be a modern, efficient, and capable facility. I have guessed dosed and been a patient at over 15 clinics, across the U.S., so I have a large amount of clinic experience.. My psychiatrist, Stephanie, has been wonderful. She researches thoroughly about which meds I can and cannot take due to a medical condition I am battling. I’ve been here for 6 years and I’m on my way tapering down with the program but I just had to leave a review because there’s a reason BHG Brainerd is ranked one of if not the highest MAT clinic. They care. Sounds corny but they do. I could have failed multiple times but they don’t even let that enter your head. The lines are quick ( unless coming back from a holiday or if you get there in the morning right when they open) for the most part there quick. Counselors that they have care and the phase up’s can be quick depending on you. If you pass your monthly UAs then you will be at once a week in no time. This is the best place in Minnesota.

I was actually a resident there back in 2013/2014 and I successfully discharged. I may receive hate for this but anyhow I absolutely love the facility. The life lessons that they teach is just unbelievable. I committed my crime and I did my time. But it could have been way worse. This facility saved my family and I from plenty of what life and the court system can throw at a individual that has serious mental health conditions. I just wanted to say I have been out of the system for 12 years and have been keeping good with the law. For those who think they can't trust me you can!

Honestly when i first came here in 2021 i was scared but i found people and became friends with like ethan from the castle program we were friends but we always fought, joe we fought every time i couldn't keep my mouth shut, and the staff oh my god the stories i could share about them but it was always william, tyler (castle program) , ethan, and Gerrit (vocational rec) i want to reach out to them since I'm now 18 as of march 26. They just had the biggest impact while i was there it was great knowing them in the year i was there so many fun memories

I went here about 2 years ago and I am so greatful I did. The staff and owners are great people who care about clients. I made life-long friends, shared in many laughs and learned a lot about myself and addiction. One of the best things about Sobriety First is that they will bring clients to AA/NA events all over the state and even some outside Minnesota! They will do this for free and pay all expenses (hotel, campsite, food, snacks, water, energy drinks, and entry fees). it was awhile ago that i was there but i still miss it. I miss the people and all the friendships i made, the thing is you cant really stay in contact which makes sense. i enjoyed focus at the start of the day and playing gang beasts with the other patients, that was probably my favorite part. on wednesdays we had a dog named Story come in and he is absolutely adorable, i got many pictures with him. The staff are nice and welcoming, my favorites were Joe and Grant, they were very funny. on tuesdays it would be tacos for lunch and Joe would often throw the left over tortillas for us to catch, its a small thing but an amazing memory. Claras House helped me notice that i was in a unhealthy relationship and once i broke up with him ive been so much happier and at peace. overall i think this place is helpful but its completely understandable to be nervous for the first few days, i was but i noticed how sweet the other patients and staff were and i warmed up.

After surgery, our friend had the best care! South parking ramp, 2nd floor, was right outside his recovery area. All the nurses were attentive, but a couple went above and beyond. Three days & nights playing cards and laughing, they let us keep our patient entertained as he counted the minutes to go home. Gorgeous view of the Mississippi from his room. The Harvest cafe coffee was hit or miss, but breakfast food was made in front of our eyes in the main cafe. Omelettes & Pancakes hot with the suran wrap or foil option available for the walk to the room. Art and photography made me feel like I was visiting all of Minnesota during our stay.

My son is currently on his second stay at the Adolescent treatment program. Although we aren't happy that he had to return for more help, I knew that he was returning to a safe and nurturing environment where the staff would be courteous and respectful of his needs. He has a lot of anger, and has been working it out with people who understand his mental illness and genuinely care about his recovery. I am very happy that they encourage a high level of family participation in his recovery, as we all need to make changes for things to get better. I feel completely confident that my son is getting the best care possible, and I am provided with updates whenever I ask for them. I trust this facility with my son's life, and I'm not sure that there is a higher level of respect than that. Not everything is perfect - of course - but that's because we are all human.

Princeton you deserve all the praise— I got my redemptive c section birth here!! At a different large hospital 1st was emergent after epically failed induction, 2nd was peaceful and calm but recovery didn’t happen well… SO much nerve pain the narcotics were needed just to get to the bathroom. Incision issues, infection, you name it. I am 1 day in of Recovery here and can walk BEAUTIFULLY. Not even comparable to the other hospital, night and day difference. No pain, doctors prayed over me (he asked of course) they dimmed the lights, they played worship music and sang along. They held my hand, they let my husband in for the spinal, and they talked me through it all even my mini panic (the spinal always makes me feel like I can’t breathe just for a little bit). I truly feel like I got my beautiful birth here. I switched cared at 33 weeks felt He called me to this small hospital for sure. They gave me a tap block never was offered this! Worth the hype for difference in recovery! No narcotics needed. Loved every nurse with my whole heart- Dawn, Grace, Dana, and many more. Maria the anesthesiologist you were an angel to me and never left my side during I am so thankful. And Doctor Hallberg thanks for being the first Doctor to listen and truly care for me and my family!!! Blessings to you all.

Dr. Dean Watkins was my therapist for many years. Fortunately, I was able to see him again upon returning to Minnesota in 2023 - until just recently. He is the warmest, most compassionate doctor I’ve ever had in my 63 years. The staff is always gracious and welcoming. If I return to St Cloud I will return to Behavioral Health at CentraCare Plaza.

this place was great and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. they worked with my other advocates which other inpatients i’ve been placed at have failed to do often for me. it’s not the most fun of inpatients, but it’s overall a good place to get treatment and i’d recommend this inpatient way more than many of the other inpatients i’ve been to. no judgement, much assistance, and very good people that work there. thank you all !!
