Endeavor Place was one of the best ran facilities, thanks to the owner Michele Buer. She always had fun activities planned for the youth such as going to timberwolves games, to state parks, out to eat for pizza, winter activities etc. She believed in work before play and created that type of atmosphere. She was honest, even if she knew you might not like her answer. Her honesty, kindness, and caring provided a positive role model for the youth. The counselors did a great job facilitating groups and meeting with client’s individually.

Structure was the main focus when I went there almost ten years ago. The counselors where what made it work and the backbone behind this place. This place isnt about fun. Its about getting better. Taking for granted that things may have changed significantly since I attended this inpatient treatment center.

My psychiatrist, Stephanie, has been wonderful. She researches thoroughly about which meds I can and cannot take due to a medical condition I am battling. I appreciate so much that she finds an alternative med to take that is less harmful. I’ve only seen her twice this far but I am highly impressed and only expect that to grow.

I’ve been here for 6 years and I’m on my way tapering down with the program but I just had to leave a review because there’s a reason BHG Brainerd is ranked one of if not the highest MAT clinic. They care. Sounds corny but they do. I could have failed multiple times but they don’t even let that enter your head. The lines are quick ( unless coming back from a holiday or if you get there in the morning right when they open) for the most part there quick. Counselors that they have care and the phase up’s can be quick depending on you. If you pass your monthly UAs then you will be at once a week in no time. This is the best place in Minnesota.

I went here about 2 years ago and I am so greatful I did. The staff and owners are great people who care about clients. I made life-long friends, shared in many laughs and learned a lot about myself and addiction. One of the best things about Sobriety First is that they will bring clients to AA/NA events all over the state and even some outside Minnesota! They will do this for free and pay all expenses (hotel, campsite, food, snacks, water, energy drinks, and entry fees). This place changed my life and showed me how to have fun and make countless friends in the recovery community ❤️

This place changed my life! Without Karen Hutchins and Threase Meyer, I wouldn't be where I am today. I came in broken and left with a huge amount of healing in my life. I have gone to the methadone clinic twice now— twice because of a relapse. The staff there is wonderful they will be there to help you, but they won't carry you the whole way you have to want it as well. The building is a good location for its purposes. I hope people who need it will take it in consideration.
