I walked in Fairland Center on January 24th, 2006 and was introduced to recovery and have been clean ever since. The staff were incredibly empathetic, compassionate, loving, and caring. My experience with Fairland was one of the most welcoming and nurturing experiences by far. The place is ran by a few former addict's that have been through addiction and overcome addiction through Fairland. I like the fact that I can talk to an addict that has been through the struggle of addiction not just some snobby educated person who never been through addiction nor understand enough to express addiction unless it's they're on assumption looking from the outside in. If there's any active attic that struggling with addiction I would recommend falling as a straighten up and fly right route.

I feel it ever so appropriate to send a HUGE shout to the amazing staff at North Sunflower Medical Center and its affiliates. Over the past few months, I had been experiencing something that just wasn’t quite right in my chest and upper body. My sister Leigh Ann, spoke with Dr. Ryan Gary, cardiologist, and was able to get me in as a new patient. After my evaluation, Dr. Gary decided it best to conduct cardiac testing. Once he reviewed the results, he gave me a call. Not his nurse, or his staff, him, the doctor, to give me the results. The Jackson Heart Clinic-Ruleville, is amazing.
The day following the communication of the results, I was having chest pains again, so I decided to go to Sunflower Rural Health Clinic. I saw Dr. Rothin Reddy. His staff performed tests and discovered that I was actually having a heart attack (He found very elevated levels of cardiac enzymes). Dr. Reddy then sent me over the North Sunflower Medical Center Emergency Room. Dr. Lamberto Cosue and his staff, including Ruth Ann Luciano, wasted no time attending to my needs. They were nothing short of amazing. They made me feel very calm even though the situation was pretty serious and they all knew I was pretty nervous. Dr. Cosue was able to get my vitals stabilized and wasted no time sending me by ambulance to St. Dominic’s in Jackson. This isn’t my opinion, this is a fact when I say North Sunflower Medical Center is top notch, I am living proof. I am forever grateful to everyone that came to my aid. Bless all of you and keep doing what you’re doing.

They definitely fixed up the place , no more beeping thermostat, no more wall paper pealings, feels less dark , the doctors room is the old waiting room and less cramped , it feels much more open, they got rid of the rugs and got nice bright colors, wood floor adds to welcomeness of the walls that were re painted, and though I do not know if it is permanent I hope it is great job fixing up the place :)

We didn’t know what to do when we realized our teen needed help. It’s not an easy decision to send your child to a residential treatment program and there aren’t many to choose from. I will say that sending our teen to Stonewater has been one of the best parenting decisions we have ever made. From our first phone call to admissions and to the last day of treatment, I have nothing but good things to say about the people who work there. Although my son was unable to attend Stonewater because our health insurance company refused to work with us, Bridget and Kyle went above and beyond to connect us with a facility that was “in-network”, closer to home, and will provide a comparable level of care. While I’m disappointed that my son could not attend Stonewater, I will be forever grateful for the time, energy, and care they afforded us in making sure that our son received the quality care he so desperately needs! Stonewater truly cares about the boys and families who participate in their recovery program. Dropping our son off, sight unseen, was the hardest thing to do in a dark time, but Stonewater staff supported us every step of the way and put our fears at ease. Communication was prompt, caring and informative, as we navigated residential treatment center operations. What appealed to me when making a decision was first- that it was family owned and operated by those in recovery or affected by addiction and or mental health needs, second- there are a max of 14 adolescent males at a time, third- it has a program ending duration of 90 days, fourth- it’s on 65 beautiful acres, fifth- staff were interested in my son’s specific needs and if he was a good fit, sixth- Stonewater’s emphasis on family participation is key throughout the entire process of healing and seventh- guidance for families to research and develop after care plans from the start to have a plan in place upon release. My son feels it’s one of the best facilities in the country, he’s not felt this healthy in years and says it changed his life. To hear his testimony speaks volumes to the quality of care Stonewater provides.

Our son is currently enrolled at Capstone. It's difficult to put into words how amazing this place is. The level of excellence, from the therapists to the support staff, is second to none. Be advised, they do not mess around. The commitment level they require from the family is high, and for good reason. I've never experienced "tough love" like they put forth. Angel and Andrea are the first two staff members I met, they helped my with all the paperwork, insurance, and leave from work. Anything I needed they were there. I called 4 help with alcohol and I got a wonderful lady name Lana in support center. She gave some number, to try to help, but 2 of the. Numbers where not working. The last number I tried was working. But the person on other end was rude. But anyways, the support center is a great place to get advice. Thank ms. Lana in support center.

They are very friendly and they respect you as a human being and not just some old used up junkie they actually really care about your well being all of the staff and I love the nurses ms.t you know you my girl from day I love new season they really changed my life...

Rachel is the best!!!! Only thing I hate about AHS is you have to go through readmission after either spiraling or postpartum.....where you'll be needing your meds IMMEDIATELY. 😒

I really enjoyed my therapist, Michel Allen. She is a really compassionate and sweet woman. She has impeccable patience, is really understanding, and cares deeply about her job and clients. I never felt rushed, or dismissed by her. She listens thoroughly and provides great feedback. I really felt seen, heard, and welcomed by her services. She is a phenomenal therapist and I would recommend her to anyone asking. The staff overall were friendly and made me feel welcomed.

I just came home from here 2 weeks ago. This place is AMAZING!! I didn't want to go at first, I read the reviews here, on day 3 I was finally settled in and knew I couldn't have been at a better place. The staff is exceptional!! It is a very intense program, but it's wonderful. Classes are 7 days a week, 8am-7pm, lots of breaks in between, plus lunch and dinner breaks. The food was exceptional! You definitely will not go hungry here!! When it was my day to go, part of me didn't want to leave, I had made great friends there and this place had become my safe place. I highly recommend this place to anyone needing help. This place will save your life if you let them!!
**Edit to add, 6 months post treatment, still sober (237 days). My brother is now a resident there, he's on day 4 today. This place is amazing!!**
Update: 09/09/25, still sober!! 802 days!! Still recommending this place to people!!!

so far ive been so blessed with them in where im at in life. I haven't made it to them yet bc of prescription problems but they helped make it happen with a grant when I told them what I was going through and what I planned with my life but I truly needed help and Paige has been more than helping and understanding before I have even got there. I will know more when I get there tomorrow but so far they have been more than understanding and helpful when im at a very tough time in my life.

It's amazing. They saved my life and marriage. I was broken when I got there . I didn't care if I lived or died. The counselors care so much about us. I graduated June 10 it was such a blessing being there.
