Wow, I'm shocked at previous reviewers. I don't know their whole story, but I'll share mine.
The office staff were kind, respectful, and knew me by name after the first week.
The therapists I met with were professional, used up to date research and evidence based interventions.
I had a miscommunication issue about money, and the director called me herself to make sure she understood my issue. She listened and understood. More than working out the money, she was safe and trustworthy to problem solve with.
I would recommend the Shephearst experience to anyone.

Amazing staff! I cant say enough great things about the methodist's staff! Ive been helping my brother in law through a traumatizing illness. Ultimately ending in an above the knee amputation and the death of my sister. The staff has been amazing! My only complaint is their signage. If you are visiting the facility in Flowwood, do yourself a favor....CALL and ask for directions! Its a large facility with multiple buildings and entrances. The signage needs an improvement!

Ridgeland, MS | Three Oaks Behavioral Health is an addiction treatment center that treats teens and adults living in and around Ridgeland, Mississippi. They don’t just deal with addiction though, they also treat those suffering from co-occurring mental health conditions. These may include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or even anger issues | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Really enjoyed Hope, Naomi, and Jim. I went in for anxiety treatment back in 2015. I was in the adolescent program. I didn’t enjoy the intern they had at the time, because he purposely triggered my anxiety to get me to react. He made me have a panic/ anxiety attack to see how I’d react to it. I did not enjoy going to the down range camp either because I was extremely triggered there as well. But overall I enjoyed the experience. Hope was my favorite. I liked the art therapy & being outside. It was a safe place for most of the time.
Update:
I had to come back and seek treatment again. It was not a bad experience. My only issue is that my eating disorder was not properly addressed or really even acknowledged. But most everyone on the staff was amazing. They were patient with me. They gave me tools I needed in order to cope. I just loved Angela, Chris, Amy, Sherry, and Paula. Art therapy was a good time. Dr. H always had a smile on his face and made you feel welcome. Cheryl was truly an amazing nurse that made you feel safe. I appreciated Karen’s insight. Sherry was the least judgmental therapist on staff. I will miss them all.

I came here for treatment a few years ago, suffering with what I consider to be immense anxiety and depression.
I had an amazing experience here. All of their therapists handled my case very well. Amy, the art therapist, was truly one of a kind. I have taken some of her skills and used them in my own personal life, to this day. I am a teacher now, and I have taught the kids many coping skills that I learned from here. I still very much appreciate the time that Hope took with me to help me heal from my disordered eating. She went above and beyond during our lunch sessions, which is something I will never forget, and always thank her for. Pamela was my therapist, and I felt like she showed great compassion through her work. There was one therapist here that when I presented my issues, they disregarded them and told the group not to help me. I felt very shameful after that, but I have since forgiven that therapist and hope that it was just a mistake. I will never forget the warm, and safe feeling that I experienced anytime I was around David.Cheryl was a great nurse, I could tell she cared about her patients more than anything. Yancey is an absolute angel, who was willing to work with my financial issues, due to me being a young adult and paying for the program myself.Evan was a very safe person to be around, and I appreciated him greatly also. Overall, I feel like this is for sure a safe place, and if I were to fall back in a dark place, I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

I attribute this place to saving my best friend's life. She was there for several months. I saw her nearly every day during this time, driving her there and picking her up and I recall her speakingly highly of ALL the therapists as well as the office staff and owners. These folks become like your family. She was particularly fond of Pamela, Hope, Cheryl, and Dr. Jones. The art therapy was a favorite, and the circle time was very healing as she was able to learn that there were people with similar issues as her and that many had much worse problems. The Christian overtones were comforting and restoring. She learned coping skills and things about herself that have allowed her to thrive. Anyone struggling with a mental health issue, trauma, crisis, or addiction would benefit from this place. When your sick and tired of being sick and tired, reach out to this place. They will welcome you and support you from start to finish.

My experience at Palmetto was really good. The counselors and staff were amazing—so caring, supportive, and always willing to help whenever I needed it. They truly care about your recovery and make you feel comfortable and understood.
What I really liked is that it’s not like you’re confined. You have freedom and responsibility—they take you to the store, you do your own shopping and cooking, and you live in a cabin with other females. It really feels more like a community than a program. If there’s ever an issue between clients or if someone feels uncomfortable, the staff is great about rearranging cabins so everyone feels safe and supported.
Overall, Palmetto is a great place that helps you grow, learn, and get the support you need. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s ready to make a positive change in their life.
I want to take a moment to thank all of the staff at Palmetto who made such a big impact on my life. Macy, my counselor—thank you for helping me see things in myself that I didn’t see before. You truly opened my eyes and helped me grow in so many ways.
Ms. Denise and Ms. Diane, you are both truly amazing. Ms. Tamika and Kaylee, and all the nurses including Tucker, thank you for being there for me when I wasn’t feeling well and for taking such good care of me. Clint was really cool people and great to talk with.
Ms. Liz, thank you so much for giving me rides to my doctor’s appointments, and Ms. Kim, I really appreciate you for doing the same. Every single one of you made a difference in my journey, and I’ll never forget the kindness, support, and encouragement you gave me.
And one of my favorite parts was being by the bayou—it was so peaceful and relaxing. Sitting out there, fishing or just enjoying the view, really gave me time to reflect and heal. And having all the cats and dogs around and watching the deers in the woods every day we're very therapeutic .
and Mr Stewart spiritual Stewart you are wonderful person to talk to and thank you Chris for setting up my IOP here in Shreveport hope to have money there before too long and thank you for letting us have that Halloween gathering I enjoyed it very much Miss Holly even though I didn't get to meet you you were on a very fine facility and I would definitely recommend it to several people.

My review is primarily about Dr. Amelia Kelley and Ms Rita.
Dr. Kelley from the beginning has always been very understanding of my issues with without dismissing them as others have done, working with me to come up with a treatment plan and listening to feedback. She has always put patient care above anything else.
Ms Rita has always been a cheerful person to talk to. Radiating positive vibes everytime you walk through the door or call up there. She's always been able to solve any issue I've come to her with.
I know that Weems also has many mental health programs to help the community as well.

And I want to give a special shout out to Michelle Lytham who was the person they sent to pick me after after I was cleared at the hospital. I have only ever been to one other treatment center. (if you could even call the 1st that) and just by the level of care, commitment, compassion shown, and individual concern shown by each and every one of the members at NOLA DETOX, ALL of whom go above and beyond for every single patient and/or resident that comes into their care. Words alone, just simply cannot describe. If you are just sick of living the way you have been. Or you want to be the person that you know you are capable of being. You owe it to yourself to give yourself the best chance of recovery success you can find and call the people at NOLA DETOX. From the executive director Cedric Royal. The head nurse Ms. Opal. All of the resident nurses, Yoshi, Jovianna, Stephanie, Ariel, Sam, just to name a few. Then there are the techs Jonathan, Danielle, Derrick, Kevin, Ms. Aqua, Cherry, India, Hunter, Adam, Ms. Kendra, and yes, even Patrick.(😁Lol). Jonathan, my counselor has been a godsend in innumerable ways, and is a wonderful person and someone who I call not just a friend. But a brother. And that is a very beautiful thing, indeed...The entirety of it is a one of a kind experience that you receive there that let's you know NOLA DETOX is NOT JUST ANOTHER treatment facility. They are all a FAMILY, and the environment and atmosphere I recommend and suggest highly to anyone looking for treatment to reach out to admissions without hesitation... Residential treatment and their follow-up IOP services are both first class. And they are what I owe my recovery, my health, and my present-day sobriety to. As well as the wellbeing and sobriety of some people whom I love dearly. Including my fiance. and I do not even want to imagine where my life would be right now if I had not have had the courage to take that initial step and actually held my own self accountable for the way my life had become. It was MY actions and MY choices that had led to the unmanageable state of a mess that my life was in. Having tried it my way so many times and each time falling short, I was so close to giving up. And what a shame and waste of life that would have been. Therefore I'm glad I didn't give up. Instead I gave in, gave it to my lord and savior, and gave the caring professionals at NOLA DETOX a call. (Thank you Shelby). Thank the Copelands for this place. And thank God I did it!!! ❤️💯

I’ve been on the program for 12 years, I ve had 3 awesome counselors. I stayed with one for 9 years, without her I wouldn’t have made it. She was in recovery herself, so She understood me. It is pretty bad right now, with the employee turnover rate, and organization with the Hurricane season. But with anything there is good and bad. I am sure they will get it back together soon.People need to understand that they are highly critiqued by federal laws. But as long as you do what your supposed to, you will not have any problems.
