They’re part of the Behavioral Health Group that runs hundreds of addiction rehabs around the country. BHG Mobile Treatment Cent | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I work construction out of town a lot,so I've been to a few dozen clinics from Philadelphia PA to Jacksonville FL. By far this facility is 10 times more professional, quick responses for whatever reasons. Cleanest facility, friendliest, caring staff I've dealt with. If you've ever had to guest dose before,it can be a nightmare!! Maybe you didn't have any problems, but I have with other clinics. Not this one! They'll make sure you get the best help possible. I would never go anywhere else.WARNING! If you're not serious about sobriety then you may prefer the other dumps. Still give them a call! They saved my life!! I would love to see more of your bhg facilities in the Mississippi area and maybe have a federal guideline on amount of your dosage for guest dosing because I have been places where there was no problem but I've been to several states like Tennessee and I was taking more than their maximum level and I had to wait 2 weeks for a state approval. Of course I was working and it being 6 hours from my hometown I had to go home one day a week until they got it straight. I wouldn't have waited for 2 days in the waitroom thinking everything was going to be fine if someone would have told me or like I said every state be on the same thing or ar least respect the other states that aren't at the same dosage levels. We still have problems and are paying patients for treatment and I was furious after working 2 nights without and set there from 6 until 12 and then be told come back in the morning maybe we will be heard back from them. Communication is really what needs to be done between the states and the different companies policies.

All I can say is this clinic changed my life in so many ways.I moved to Alabama from Indiana and was promptly told I was on enough OxyContin to kill an elephant. No DOCTOR WOULD SEE ME UNTIL OFF OF THE OXYCONTIN. So I ended up here on Methadone,,, the most amazing thing happened after 20+ years on OxyContin for RSD I was able to hold my 17year old sons hand for the 1st time PAIN FREE. I was so embarrassed to be there but the staff and other patients are the kindest people I have ever met. I highly recommend this place.

I recently moved to Ocean Springs, MS from Memphis. I had to transfer to a new clinic from Memphis. This so happened to be the clinic I transferred to and I am SO GRATEFUL that I did. What sold me was when I was calling treatment centers, New Seasons in Biloxi seemed annoyed when I called to ask about what I needed to do to transfer. So I called this clinic to see if it would be a better fit, and less complicated and believe me it was!The counselor Jami from the clinic immediately called me back the same day I called to ask about their services, she had me come in the same day, fill out the paperwork, and got my transfer paperwork from Memphis. The next day I was a permanent client and dosing with them. That is what sold me! The counselors are wonderful. Jami got me into the clinic the same day that I called as a transfer. That is unheard of usually it takes a bit of time to transfer, but Jami doesn t play. She gets the job done and recognizes how important this medication is for those who truly need it.Phenomenal staff work here. From the counselors to the nurses and the doctor. As a former nurse myself I will say this clinic has some of the kindest nurses I ve ever met. One of the nurses came up to me my first day and welcomed me to the clinic. It s a small clinic so it feels more family like. The staff is always willing to help and they will go far to do so.My only complaint is that they aren t sure if I can do split dosing. I metabolize opiates at a rapid and fast rate, this was confirmed by a blood draw to see what my blood level of methadone is after 24 hours and before I dose for the next day.The optimum level is in the 400s mine was at 100, which is extremely low. So in TN I was given split doses 60 MG face dose and 60 mg take home. This allowed me to live a normal life without unpleasant withdrawls. But even with that draw back I am very grateful for this clinic. The other set back is they don t take insurance. There is a grant which I m currently trying to get on so that is very helpful but if you don t qualify it can get pricy. It cost 15 a day and they only do the orange wafers. Which is great if you like the pill form better as I do. It s also cheaper from New Seasons. The methadone wafers at that clinic are $22.00. That 7 dollar difference doesn t seem like much but believe me it really is. It s a 49 dollar difference weekly.Methadone saved my life. I was total abstinence from all drugs including methadone for four months when I got off of opiates. Unfortunately, I experienced severe post acute withdrawl and wasn t able to live a normal life as others do who never used opiates.I attended meetings NA/HA and AA. Which I believe are VITAL to recovery. But doing so alone without methadone was too difficult for me. The damage done to my brain was long lasting and became obvious when I still couldn t function as I did before I used opiatesI dealt with severe panic attacks, and being unable to experience pleasure in anything. For example, a beautiful sunrise usually makes me smile and makes my soul feel warm, but I couldn t experience that feeling anymore because of the damage opiates had done on my brain. So after four months I had to get on methadone in order to be able to experience pleasure in everyday activities as other people do. Antidepressants wouldn t work, because that isn t the chemical my brain was lacking from the damage done by opiates. So methadone for me is a life saving medication. As it is for so many others.I continue to do meetings, intensive outpatient, go to conventions, and see a therapist for my recovery. Alongside with methadone.I m a firm believer in this medication that with it and the psychological part of recovery (meetings, therapy, etc) that a happy life is once again possible with the freedom from addiction.

I was there. I was in a place in my life where I could not continue on the path that I was taking. The counselors helped me work through the things within me that chained me to a way of life that was really no life at all. It was more of a way of death. That was five years ago. I am still sober. That facility helped me help myself. I am grateful. If you are reading this then you or someone you care about is in a bad place in their life. I know the feeling of crushing desperation. Go. Go and follow the program. Like you, I felt like AA was a bit culty. Trust me, man, it isn't. Once I wrapped my head around the principles of it and reconciled those principles with my personal faith in God I realized what a good thing it really is. They don't want to run you. They don't want your money. They just want to help you. I absolutely recommend it. It saved my life. It helped me make my life worth living

Ok, so after almost two years with Dr. Sinclair I feel like I can give an honest review of my experience so far.SO, as far as Sinclair goes, there is no one better in my opinion. He is caring, respectful and educated. He is the type of person you walk away from and the rest of your day is a little brighter. However, the office staff? Oh lawd hammercy. It's a hot mess express. No one knows what's going on. Seems like no calls to the nurse line is documented, ever. I needed to be in his refill clinic and the nurse made me an appointment but for two months out and reassured me that I would be able to get refills even though my appointment was two months away. Found out that she made me an appointment with someone else (whom I've never seen) instead of Sinclair AFTER I requested refills through my pharmacy and got a call from the nurse saying that I couldn't because it was time to make an appointment. I told her I was scheduled and she told me it was with someone else so magically, she got me in the very next day with Sinclair for the refill clinic. Phew, that's just my recent experience with the staff. LolAnyway, I highly recommend Sinclair and I'll follow him anywhere he goes. My quality of life has just overall been better since he has been my doctor. I have switched medications soooooo many times to find the right med combo and he has been there in the trenches with me through it all. 11/10 stars!

However, once I got through the initial screening (this appointment takes some time). I found them to be extremely competent. And they care. They are a small clinic with few people and limited resources. But, they are VERY thorough. Be patient, they are under the control of VAMC Jackson. We all know how bad Jackson VA is (except our useless congressmen and senators, I suppose). My advice is as follows:1. Get a clinic appointment. Try to get Dr. Bowling. She will get to the bottom of any medical problem. This lady is tenacious when it comes to her vets!2.Sign up for myhealthevet. Once you make an account, upgrade to the premium account. It will say you have to send in a form for the premium account. Just call the 800 number and have the service person upgrade it for you. They're very helpful. This will allow you to order health records, check prescriptions, communicate with you're health team. In other words bypass the VA bureaucracy.Sorry for the long post. Hope it helps.August 2023 update. They've run off ALL their doctors! Go to VAMC Biloxi instead.

I know most folks don t really leave reviews unless they are upset about something or frustrated with their situation and I m not sure how things have changed since I was there but I feel I need to give my experience as a patient in 2009-2010. As a child I was faced with neglect, abandonment, molestation, homelessness, mental illnesses, family hardships amongst a long list of other issues involving hoarding. I came to Baypoint after have tried to and almost successfully, kill myself. The state of Alabama took me into their care and placed me here to get my mental in order. I rejected every ounce of help they had to offer and honestly was little prick while I was there. I joined in willingly to fights to impress other kids and act out because I was refusing to listen to my therapist dr. Rene. With this amount of attitude I was placed in seclusion (as I should be!) to think about my actions. Yes I was physically restrained but in their defense I was swinging on everyone and everything. They were protecting themselves and I completely understand this now. As teenagers we all have a couple things in common and that is that we hate the body we are in and we lash out on everyone around us. Add in a few mental illnesses and you have a dangerous situation. The folks at this facility during my time tried their best to teach me how to channel my emotions and I brushed them off with feelings that they didn t know how I felt and nothing they could do can help. Know that I m 30 I can think back to every lesson I ever had and use the tools they instilled so long ago. Now as i think about the children that were in the wwasp programs, bay pointe was an excellent facility! They taught me how to wash my own clothes and keep a schedule. We would get allowances that we could use at the vending machine and when we went on our outings. Going out to the pond and seeing the turtles really made my day! When I expressed the therapeutic need to see the stars, the counselors found a time to allow those of us who wished to see them a few minutes outside at night once a week to give us this. We had rec time and I see that they have ankle monitors now which can make this more of a possibility. So many of us tried to run away and some accomplished this because we all refuse help when we have to give up things in order to be help. Then we think we are abused because we can t have our way. Bay pointe provides recreation, 3 very tasty meals a day, adequate bedding and supervision with an appropriate amount of discipline. Just like in high school, the teachers can only do so much about bullying. It s up to you as an individual to walk away and ignore it. You can t avoid this even in work settings as adults. My overall review of this place is when we are kids everyone is out to get us but just like with playing a sport, if you don t practice everyday, you get worse. Utilize every minute of this program and be there for you not friends. I know how hard it is as I was there for over a year but that was my fault for making it longer and continuing to be a prick. Be determined and this place can be very healing if you let it. Using the business education program they had I ve used what I ve learned there and am currently a proud business owner. As the parents of children who are in this system, be involved as much as you can! You can t expect change if you do not change yourself. Accept that you are going to have to alter your way of life for your children even more than most and call out to family and friends who can also support you and your kid. This program takes a while to sink in but if you let it, it will open your eyes and help you see the small tweaks it made to help you be a better person and control your emotions. Thank you baypointe and I m sorry for punching a hole straight through to the break room on the teen girls side!

I was a patient here, and Summer is a really good therapist! And Dr. Hamilton helped me with my medication. This place really got my mental health back on track, and your children who need help with their mental stability would definitely benefit from going here!
