I was thinking about this place today for some reason. I spent 29 days here in 2015 or late 2014. Anyway I remember it was a very good program. The scenery is beautiful and many long walks around the facility. I was glad we could smoke as well. I remember going to the local Catholic Church nearby. Oh yes and the food was delicious. Females were there as well, but no peeking lol. Overall a good place if you wanna sober up and stay off the destructive path.

After receiving 30 days of inpatient treatment for alcohol, I continued my care at Lake Wellness. Bruce Steinberg has been an incredible asset in my recovery; I cannot say enough good things about him. He created a safe and non-judgmental space for his clients, and each day of the week had a specific agenda, which kept the meetings fresh and interesting. I thoroughly appreciated the activities and concepts that we explored. His group was open-minded and empathetic and was a place for growth, healing, and connection for me. This woman is sooooo awesome! She s the director over the pregnancy rehab I was at; and was my therapist for 4 months. At the time I was so stubborn and hated the fact I was court ordered to rehab but looking back; I am so grateful for this woman. She dealt with the mornings I didn t want to get up and participate in groups, she dealt with my pregnancy mood swings, she helped me through the emotional roller coaster I was on with coming off drugs and being pregnant. During labor with Lydia, she was the person I called to come up there at 9cm dilated, and she zoomed up there just in time to meet baby Lydia as she made her arrival. She encouraged me, showed me new ways to cope with life and the obstacles life throws my way. When they say god has a reason for everything, I truly believe that. When I didn t have support, he sent me to this rehab to gain the support I truly needed. From the staff, peer support, other clients in the program. The support was just unbelievable. Mrs. Heather for laying the law down, her spunky energetic, quirky attitude, she cared deeply for us. Mrs. Latrice for her positive pep talks, being real and all the way honest with everything, quick to check us about reality. Mrs. Ashley for her bubbly, and always positive outlook on life. We all hate having to be in a hospital, but I have to tell you that my experience at Lakeview Hospital in Covington went very well.After having a procedure done on March 25th 2025, I had to stay in the hospital for 4 days and 3 nights, and I know that sounds like a vacation stay, well it really was. Again, we all don't want to be in a hospital, but if you have to stay, stay at Lakeview. The entire time I was there the staff was very nice, and very attentive to my needs, and went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I did lots of walking in the halls over those 4 days, and everyone of the staff I encountered was very nice, and pleasant to talk too. I have been telling everyone I know about my experience at Lakeview Hospital. So thank you to all the staff on the 5th floor where I stayed. Now, let's talk about the meals. Hospital food doesn't sound good ever, but every meal I had was excellent. I admit that I'm kind of judgmental when it comes to food, but every mean I had was delicious. Overall my stay was made comfortable by the courteous staff, and my meals made the stay much easier. I would have to rate the overall experience as a 10 out of 10, but for Google I can only do a 5 out of 5. Ha! Ha! Thanks again to the staff at Lakeview Hospital for making my stay a great experience.

I took my boyfriend to this ER in a very unusual situation. The staff where VERY professional and supportive in our medical issue to both parties and ran tests to check ALL the boxes of care.I have been to a hospital here myself for a heart issue and got almost no care what so ever so I normally don't write reviews but I would like to personally thank the 3 am shift last night for just going above and beyond even with a difficult patient. Hopefully I personally won't have to see them in the near future but I was super impressed with their caring attitudes and professional acts to make sure he was actually safe.Thank you everyone from front desk,to nurses,to mri,dr and even admission/ insurance info collection. I highly recommend Longbranch. The nursing, staff, counselors, and food service are great. Longbranch provides a safe and clean environment. There are two people per room. You share a bathroom. There isn t a tv or phone in the room but there is plenty to keep you occupied. You are responsible for washing your own clothes and keeping your room clean. This isn t a hotel but it s quite peaceful.

I had an issue with an overpayment that was corrected when the new director took the over. I believe Dean is hands down the absolute best director they ve ever had! I was there. I was in a place in my life where I could not continue on the path that I was taking. The counselors helped me work through the things within me that chained me to a way of life that was really no life at all. It was more of a way of death. That was five years ago. I am still sober. That facility helped me help myself. I am grateful. If you are reading this then you or someone you care about is in a bad place in their life. I know the feeling of crushing desperation. Go. Go and follow the program. Like you, I felt like AA was a bit culty. Trust me, man, it isn't. Once I wrapped my head around the principles of it and reconciled those principles with my personal faith in God I realized what a good thing it really is. They don't want to run you. They don't want your money. They just want to help you. I absolutely recommend it. It saved my life. It helped me make my life worth living

I was thinking about this place today for some reason. I spent 29 days here in 2015 or late 2014. Anyway I remember it was a very good program. The scenery is beautiful and many long walks around the facility. I was glad we could smoke as well. I remember going to the local Catholic Church nearby. Oh yes and the food was delicious. Females were there as well, but no peeking lol. Overall a good place if you wanna sober up and stay off the destructive path.

This place changed my life. It saved my life! If you or a loved one needs help, this is the place to go. The physical structure needs help but the mental health care is wonderful. As I said, it saved my life.

They DO NOT take healthy blue like the website says. I have been going here for about 4 months now and they just keep saying they are waiting on the paperwork or something. They should really take it down from the website and contact medicaid and let them know they are not taking it cause healthy blue is the one who gave me this doctors info cause they said that they took my insurance but that wasn't the case. Other than that I love applegate recovery and all the employees , everyone is really nice and understanding.

I love this place. Very caring compassionate people. I've had a very hard time finding Dr's like this. Plus they offer counseling. I don't share my story a whole lot cuz I feel I'm being judged.
