Actually facilities was extremely clean n comfortable spacious kinda. You do have to share room n bathroom with 1 to 3 other clients. Facility extremely good at what they do. Food was fantastic. At times u feel like there should be more to do but in the end sobering up n dealing with issues u will be grateful for the rest. I would recommend this facility to others the staff helped me n cared about me I ll never forget them. Not 5 star only cause limited smoke breaks! They hold your smokes and there are 9 allotted smoke breaks a day. Issues with getting more when u ran out even tho u had money with u n they could go to the store for shampoo for u but refused to purchase smokes n u would get punished if caught sharing

If it weren't for St. Christopher's we would still be wading through the confusion of what to do about our alcoholic loved one. The pain was close to unbearable. We were all lost and so very tired. St. Chris was recommended to us and the counselors and techs there made the difference. After three months, our loved one graduated and transitioned with the help of staff. The combination of medical supervision, group therapy, and 24/7 supervision was the key to finding the path we are on now. Our alcoholic is over six months sober and proud. It's a day at a time, but we are thankful for this second chance, given to us by the caring folks at St. Christopher's.

There isn't enough space to say how I feel about Lake Wellness. I woke up on 9/10/23 and decided to reach out to them via online. I filled out a form and was called within minutes offering help. I honestly could not do it by myself. The staff there is exceptional. The counselors there were exceptional. And the doctor very caring. The immense knowledge I have gained from my student program, as well as nearly a year of staff work, has laid the foundation on which I have been able to start building a life I never thought I could achieve.From being a hair away from a bid in prison, to a high functioning and appreciative member of society, I share the wealth of knowledge I learned here with everyone who is facing conflict in their own lives.The program is not easy, and will force you to take ultimate responsibility for all aspects of your life. I was thinking about this place today for some reason. I spent 29 days here in 2015 or late 2014. Anyway I remember it was a very good program. The scenery is beautiful and many long walks around the facility. I was glad we could smoke as well. I remember going to the local Catholic Church nearby. Oh yes and the food was delicious. Females were there as well, but no peeking lol. Overall a good place if you wanna sober up and stay off the destructive path.

This place changed my life. It saved my life! If you or a loved one needs help, this is the place to go. The physical structure needs help but the mental health care is wonderful. As I said, it saved my life.

I was really nervous going into treatment but the staff was great, there was always someone available if I needed anything from headache medicine, or just someone to talk to. I would definitely recommend them to anyone thats considering getting sober.

Lake Wellness helped me so very much and Bruce Steinberg let us make the group our own. I made friends that will last a lifetime. I would not be sober today if it wasn't for him and the Lake Wellness staff!!

After receiving 30 days of inpatient treatment for alcohol, I continued my care at Lake Wellness. Bruce Steinberg has been an incredible asset in my recovery; I cannot say enough good things about him. He created a safe and non-judgmental space for his clients, and each day of the week had a specific agenda, which kept the meetings fresh and interesting. I thoroughly appreciated the activities and concepts that we explored. His group was open-minded and empathetic and was a place for growth, healing, and connection for me. I made friends I will have for life in this program and will forever be grateful for the care and support I received at Lake Wellness.

This place was a life changer. Kevin James speaks the truth and is straight up with you. He explains things in a way even a toddler can learn. If you can't handle him being blunt with you, then you're probably not ready for sobriety. He makes you look at your own bullshit that you've been hiding behind for so long. The counselors and staff are AMAZING and KIND here and the rules aren't really much to follow if you act like an adult. The food is pretty yuck though so bring snacks and maybe a pillow.

This place taught me how addiction works. As I read the reviews I see a lot of people saying the staff was rude. They told us what we needed to hear and not what we wanted to hear and I appreciated that. If I want to be waited on/ pampered I would go to a resort. I went there after trying to get sober on my own for years and it was the single best decision I ever made. That was 4.75 years ago. If you put in the work it can/will work they teach you and lay out a road map that works. I m living proof. Then the rest is up to you to string together good decisions and use the tolls you learned. If you stop putting in the work nothing will work.
