Dr. Patterson is an amazing provider and a truly caring person who goes above and beyond for every patient he sees. He made sure my potassium was monitored closely even when I didn't. He has gone out of his way to make sure I was safe and even took care of my son when he had a rash that wouldn't go away on it's own. He is a kind, caring and wonderful doctor! Thank you Dr. Patterson!

I'm a chronic relapser and have been to Valley Hope several times. My relapses had nothing to do with Valley Hope and the care they provided. It just wasn't my time yet. I love Atchison Valley Hope. The staff are A+. They genuinely care about the patients while there and after their discharge. I get calls from my counselors and case workers periodically just to see how I'm doing. It's more than collecting an insurance check with them. I finally took their advice and went to php and iop, in addition to an addiction counselor. I'm 65 years old and sober for the first time in a very long time. There's no treatment center that's going to keep you sober or drug free. It takes work, but at AVH they will provide a serious reboot for your future.

Every staff member I've met has been helpful, lovely, and smiling. Yes, the campus has some bumps and dings, even kids from the most stable backgrounds are careless. It makes sense, but people are working as hard as possible behind the scenes to fix those bumps and dings. The fact that there's a full size gym, a swimming pool that the kids have the opportunity to get into everyday in the summer and as many accoutrements of a family house as possible really makes what looks to me like the best out of a tough situation for some kids.

Kyle Windler is as awesome as they come. He went above and beyond to accommodate my requests. My son left Arista after a few days for various reasons, leaving all his belongings behind, including a package I had sent from Amazon. Kyle went out of his way to make sure the Amazon was returned and I received a refund. He’s currently working on returning my son‘s wallet to him, and I have all confidence that he will find a way to do this. I contacted Arista several times to address these issues and finally found someone that directed me to Kyle, who was courteous and genuinely understanding of my stress and determined to resolve my issues. The staff was super friendly and helpful I was in the BHU and felt the classes were helpful and educational. I left feeling a lot more clear headed and correctly medicated. Just wish I had gotten to see my therapist more than once a week.

I was here from January-2025 to August-2025, honestly it was a good experience, alot of things happend to me that were out of the staffs and in bosses power, as in other clients behavior and such, but unfortunately I did get harrased and assulted by other clients but when i stated that, action was taken immediately, they would separate the client from the other(s), and even though it may have not been far, it was better then being traumatized, these "bad" reviews have too of been caused by bad past staff or a lying child, and I was there as I was 14, I was first on the unit champions& Defenders, but maybe 1 week after, my group switched units with champions (Our sister unit) and we got renamed, but as i stayed kids came, and kids went, but I had a good experience overall, and the meals are okay, I feel like the portions should be increased a little for each unit depending on age group, everyone got the same amount, but alot of kids there would do about anything for extras, even in small amounts, I was one of them sometime but it was always 50/50 whenever I ate, I feel as bedtime is WAY too early for 13+ as its 7:00PM for bedtime, as it is healthy but it was extremely hard for me too get up in the mornings because of the time, the beds are really low on the floor if ur in building 3[unless it has been renovated by now] and in building 7, the beds are a normal height,

I was a client At TLC for at least six months and then discharged honestly for me I had a great time I have no idea these parents are talking about the one in the first photo I was there for that kid the only reason why her therapist told her no for the headphones was because they were working on headphones and then when they got unit headphones she refused to use them for the second one a hold is mandatory you cannot blame the staff they're just doing their job and if your child wouldn't have struggled then she wouldn't have so many bruises apologise but I was here for both of these kids both of these kids were in the wrong during their stay because the one that got into the hold tried to fight a staff so of course the staff has to put them in a hold because that's physical aggression and then as soon as the staff tries to put them in the hold she struggles which causes them to hold her tighter and make them stay longer the more she moves the tighter they get the girl that got bullied because of her autism she did not get bullied because of her autism she got bullied because she would cuss people out she would cuss therapist out obviously I had the same therapist so I can put this on put in that therapist was like the best therapist in the world like I have him again before that therapist left he spoke so many good things about your daughter he spoke good about your daughter even though she did so many bad things to him I'm not saying “this is the kids fault” because basically if I'm saying that I would be telling myself that same thing I'm saying that didn't help your kid and that was your objective go to another place I've been to 2 places TLC and pathways send them to another place if they don't do good especially kids in foster care the caseworker is obviously going to send them to another place if they're not doing better after discharge please this place is done so many good things for me I literally struggled in the beginning I got in so many holds in the beginning so many runways in the beginning as time progressed I got better and they finally let me out and I wasn't in a hold for like 3 months

I used to go here when i was 13/14... and for everyone who has had a bad experience placeing there child here just know as for every place it has its good and bad times. I was forchinat enough to be placed here when it had a good staff systume shout out to ,Michaelis, Doug dear, Melissa, mr Tiny, mark and meany more. I also made a tone of friends who i still keep up with to this day aswell. I had the chance learn alot about myself and my problems and left a better kid who was confident and well more behaved and I still use what I learned there to this day and I'm 30. I'm unsure how the place is doing almost 20 years later or who is working there but this place randomly popped up in my my head and i just felt the need to look it up and leave a review. There is a button next to the front door you have to press to get buzzed into the building. It’s on the right side of the door. I hope this is helpful because past reviewers have said they couldn’t get access the building.
I had a really great experience here. The process does take some time and you have to be patient. But they were truly amazing and helped me so much. I was assigned an emergency case worker, Phil, who has been amazing. He continuously checks up on me and has helped me every step of the way. Phil helped me sign up for all of my appointments (mental, dental and primary care), as well get Medicaid coverage within a week of leaving the crisis center. I absolutely cannot recommend them enough. They are the net.

My mother won't go anywhere else and after today, I see why. All around a good experience, but I wanted to give a shout out to the dental assistant, Cameron. She sat with my mom and let her tell story after story while waiting on the medicine to kick in. Can’t say enough good things about Compass in general, but what made me write this review specifically is one of your psychologists, Cody Bond. As someone who’s seen multiple therapists and psychologists over the course of the last 10 years, Cody is the most notable one I’ve ever had and I’m so thankful for him and everything he’s done for me. Cody’s not just a great psychologist, but a great person in general and he’s never once made me feel dismissed or unheard. I’ve never cried like I lost a family member over losing my psychologist/therapist like I have today. I’m so happy for Cody and his future endeavors but I’m so sad that I’m losing him. Compass has a good one in Cody Bond and I’m so happy to see Compass recognizing him for what he does. He definitely deserves this. First time using VA clinic. Very easy to use. Very professional and takes time to listen to your concerns. You do not feel like just another number. Wasn't really sure if wanted to use VA medical after all of the stories I heard and what I had seen with family members treatment. But after seeing Dr Gammon I am quite confident in the treatment that I am getting is top tier.

It works.
Finally getting around to sharing but I'm extremely grateful for this place. I'm coming up on 2 years clean from opiates. It was my first ever time in treatment and it stuck.
Very well. They set you up to be successful afterwards with doctors appointments and IOP so even though I haven't had much contact with GB themselves since, I've still was able to maintain treatment.
Food was AMAZING. I had my own 1-bdr apartment with a kitchenette. The therapy was constant so it kept you busy. All the people were nice and they really seemed to care about what they were doing and being there. The pool table and cereal bar were great amenities too.
My only complaint is that I left with a vitamin D deficiency, but it was wintertime in KS so we just couldn't do many outings.

The Belton VA Clinic is exceptional! The reception staff is always kind, even when they have people being hateful toward them. I’ve never had to wait more than a couple of days for an appointment or labs whenever I need them. I am a big fan in general of VA healthcare. The VA really is the best healthcare system in the country. Some people haven’t dealt with private healthcare in a long time and it shows. I will say if you aren’t the best with technology then scheduling and things might be a little frustrating. If you can manage to use Facebook on your cell phone, watch Fox News on your phone at full volume in the waiting room, or figure out how to leave nasty Google reviews, you should be able to manage using the VA health app to schedule appointments and request meds.

My daughter went here was so thankful for everything the staff and drs did for my kid so thankful for them came home to a different kid she realized and actually got some help to be able to talk about what she was thinking if your kid is struggling I completely recommend sending them here

Im a biopolar maniac. I have been to multiple different treatment facilities and i have to say cottenwood was by far the best one i have ever been to. I will be honest there is some flaws with their night shift but during the day i had the time of my life. It could be because im very social but the therapy there got me through the day and by the time it was over with i felt very healed. Till this day i still use the gratitude and appreciation they taught me at this phacility. The food was amazing and the portions are perfectly sized. Thank you cottenwood. I would definitely come back and drive the 5 hours from stl to kc if i have have another manic episode.

I absolutely love this pharmacy! All staff are so nice and helpful and are willing to do whatever it takes to get you, your medications and the wait is not long at all. After a few short moments they generally have your medications ready and are sending you on your way out the door. Very clean and professional environment. I have never had a problem coming here to get my medications refilled. I'll definitely be continually coming to this pharmacy for my medication refills! 💊
