The front reception desk team is friendly , attentive and helpful. I have never felt so seen , welcomed and accepted. The NP I saw was so down to earth and understanding. My therapist was genuine and I truly felt heard. After a horrible experience with another facility with Burrell I came here, and I’m so glad I did. Courtney , Hannah and Tanner are all amazing team members here. I’m very sad to be moving again, and leaving their care. But I won’t forget the kindness and generosity I experienced here. Thank you all so much for what you do. I wish I could send everyone here.
So warm , welcoming and inviting. Snacks , water and charging stations and vending machines in the lobby really make a difference for people who are waiting on rides or waiting in between appointments. I can’t say enough good things. Thanks again y’all.

Can’t say enough good things about Compass in general, but what made me write this review specifically is one of your psychologists, Cody Bond. As someone who’s seen multiple therapists and psychologists over the course of the last 10 years, Cody is the most notable one I’ve ever had and I’m so thankful for him and everything he’s done for me. Cody’s not just a great psychologist, but a great person in general and he’s never once made me feel dismissed or unheard. I’ve never cried like I lost a family member over losing my psychologist/therapist like I have today. I’m so happy for Cody and his future endeavors but I’m so sad that I’m losing him. Compass has a good one in Cody Bond and I’m so happy to see Compass recognizing him for what he does. He definitely deserves this. Cody, if you see this, thank you so much and have a wonderful life!!! 🤗

I have ADHD, and there’s currently a stimulant shortage for what I normally take. I called multiple pharmacies in the area and they didn’t have any of the doses I’d normally take in stock. My coworker mentioned this place to me, so I got a lower dosage of my prescription sent to them. I called the pharmacy to let them know, and the man that answered was very polite and knowledgeable about the stimulant shortage, and even gave me information on my drug’s expiring patent that I didn’t know about. He was able to get it filled that same day, however I had issues with my prescription insurance wanting to do a preauthorization for a lower dose. This same pharmacist that helped me on the phone was very empathetic and talked me through all of the necessary steps of insurance pre authorization. He contacted my prescription insurance for me and even advocated for me on the phone with them, attempting by to bypass the unnecessary preauthorization (it was the same drug I’ve been on for over 12 years, just a slightly lower dosage, so the preauthorization for it during this stimulant shortage was very arbitrary and unnecessary.) He was very polite to me on the phone, in person, and on the phone with my insurance.
This facility’s pharmacy is the only pharmacy in my area that still has the dosages of the drug that I can take. There is never a line in the pharmacy, the communication with their patients and each other is remarkable.
Normally I go to CVS for my psychiatric medications, but I think I’ll just go here from now on. They are very quick to answer the phone and get prescriptions filled, and they clearly do their absolute best to advocate for their patients.
Thank you Compass Health pharmacy, you saved me in the middle of this stimulant shortage, and you made the whole frustrating process of insurance preauthorization much easier for a patient like me with ADHD that gets easily overwhelmed and impatient with setbacks. You guys are awesome 💜

Nevada, Missouri | Heartland Behavioral Health Services in Nevada, Missouri, provides trauma-focused therapy programs to children between the ages of 4 and 17. Therapy methods include sand tray therapy, equestrian therapy, creativ | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Heartland is by far the BEST residential and hospital in the state of Missouri. It’s been about 2 years since I was last hospitalized here and I’ve been to 50+ hospitals. The staff are amazing from the psychiatrist and on floor staff and nurses to the behind the scenes staff like the cafeteria and housekeeping they all care so much about patients and there well-being. Group therapy sessions here are very beneficial including animal therapy, dbt, recreational, cognitive, and maybe more that I just don’t remember. I personally think it’s awful to send kids under the age of 8 to a psychiatric hospital but this hospital is amazing with young children and the only place I would ever allow my own kid to go to. ( not that I actually have a kid.) there’s two playgrounds, a bowling alley, a game room, horses, a splash pad, tons of activities, a gym, a art room, and more. You can have your own clothes and shoes ( excluding clothing with profanity, illegal references, and strings), blankets, stuffed animals, books, pictures, fidgets. Their residential program is not one I’ve been in but as a teen with freinds who have almost all been in that program they all say it’s the most beneficial and life changing experience. I was unfortunately their for Christmas, but honestly I had an amazing day. We had lots of good and real presents, snacks, meals, activities, and chill time. It was just as good as any Christmas I’ve ever had minus the family. For parents with little ones they will not ruin Santa for your kids. If you have to choose one place for your kid or self to go to I would 1000000% recommend here.

First I want to say that most people do not "want" to be hear, so its going to be difficult to give something five stars. This isn't a vacation, its a hospital that provides help to those who need it. This is something it does extremely well at. My daughter loved the staff and said they made a hard program much more tolerable. She loved the staff and misses them still, but they provided the help she needed. I hope we never return, but if ever considering a place, please consider Heartland!!! Also shout out to Rachel, who I don't believe is ever "offwork" it could be bright and early in the morning or 11 at night and shed respond to an email from us without hesitation. Always there to help us along the way and of course help my daughter.

I honestly had struggled at the beginning of my stay at heartland I was in subacute then I moved to residential when I was on subacute I had very bad anger problems I would always wanna fight, then when moving to unit 2 west I still wasn't making any progress in my treatment,so my team at heartland decided to move me to 2 central at first I was like "no I don't wanna move units" but as time passed I came to realize that it was for the best and that I could try harder to focus on myself yes not gonna lie I did have anger issues when I moved to 2 central but after awhile I learned how to manage my emotions I had went through hell and back while being at heartland but I had a whole team to help me get through it all I was in the facility for 8 months and now I'm getting on my feet and becoming a better version of myself I really can't think the staff at heartland enough for picking me up when I was feeling down and I don't know if I would be the person I am becoming if it wasn't for them they seen me cry the seen me mad the seen every little thing about me and not gonna lie at first I didn't trust anyone not even my therapist Desmond but as time went by I started talking to people at how I really felt I can honestly say that heartland has saved me from ruining my life and I used to not be good at school until I went to heartland when I started to do school there I worked really hard and I finished so many classes before I left and now it's like I can do anything I want me ive learned so much about myself and what I want to do with my future the staff also encouraged me to follow the same dream I've had since I was 5 so that's what I'm going to do I'm going to go to college and I'm going to be a play therapist for kids that is struggling and needs the extra support I'm going to help pick kids up when they are feeling down I will be the person that they can count on cause I know how much heartland has done the same for me so shout out to Desmond fleener for being the best therapist for me and showing me how to manage my anger and how to trust people again!!
