Can't rave enough about the facility, staff and straight forward care at this facility. So far.. very impressed, down to Earth Folks from the moment I walked into the door. Met my Male Army nurse (John I think) Dr. Yutz is a serious keeper. Even the Vampire Lady in Lab that took my blood was wonderful and made me feel welcomed. These folks care about their clients and Soldiers. Treat them as Humans with Respect and never just a number. So very helpful and explained things to help educate me on my health and how things work with the VA health system. They even set up 3 future appointments for me. Could not ask for a better Med Team then this location. Worth the wait! Thank You Sedalia VA. Hats off to a great operation.

Wonder facility! Great communication and care of my daughter. The doctor is incredible and so much compassion was taken and they really got to the bottom of things. I definitely recommend Royal Oaks as #1! Only down side, beds are rock hard, pillows are tiny and hard and one or two staff members ignored my daughter as she felt. But overall.... If she needs to go back anywhere,it will be Royal Oaks for sure!

One of the best hospitals around! They actually take the time to help each patient, lots of interactive activities during treatment. My family member was being treated for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. The psychiatrist prescribed them a new medication to help with OCD. I m not sure how long the insurance covers but this is acute so between probably 3-10 days I m guessing or week average, maybe some go a bit longer. Very structured setting with lots of activities and friendly tech nurses. Would recommend to any family seeking short term acute care for a teen in crisis or dealing with other behavioral issues.

I was at Valley Hope for 30 days in January 2023. I desperately needed rehab and because I wasn t covered by insurance had to pay for my treatment. It was, without a doubt, the best money I have ever spent and I would do it again without hesitation. Valley Hope gave me the tools I needed to live a life free from alcohol. We enjoyed our stay! We had caring helpful staff! The privacy for each patient is takin seriously. I would highly recommend coming here because they allow husband and wife, your phone, and they provide the successful lectures to help u make it out in the real world. Their food is relatively good quality, and the portions are more than u may need. They provide medicated assistance to help you with the withdrawals. The staff are very friendly and truly put your total care at heart. Every patient is accommodating, and welcoming. This does help everyone coming in a lot! Mama cleans her butt off and leaves you feeling cared for and like your her own kid! She puts her all into her hard work and is a very kind, caring soul! Kellie will help u along the way figure out what is bothering you and get to the root of the problem you have, only if you re ready. James does this as well. Two very good counselors who have been through their own situations and use this to help others. Ronda always puts your health above and goes above and beyond to make sure u are taking care of. Shes a wonderful nurse! Allison is very sweet and kind hearted and will do anything it takes to make u feel at peace and have that active listening skill, she is persistent and so is Mel. They both are great at what they do! The lectures are very educational and give u all the tools you may need to out into your tool box to take with you when you leave. I would highly recommend valley hope in booneville.

My teen incurred multiple terrifying and alienating experiences to their birthmother during her pregnancy. It was a closed adoption and their adoptive Daddy died of cancer when she was 4. If CALO didn t exist, I m afraid my kid wouldn t either. CALO isn t magic. It is the practice of repeating healthy appropriate tlc hundreds of times a day. Every staff member I have ever met does this, their trauma therapist does this, and the teachers do it. If the wall you are up against is How can I keep them safe?, call CALO.

I just returned from our first parent child retreat at Calo. Our adopted child has dual diagnoses and primarily RAD- reactive attachment disorder and has been at Calo for two months. The retreats are quarterly. This retreat reinforced that my child is in the absolutely right place. Not only was the retreat very well thought out and executed but seeing how loving and friendly the staff are to the students made every parent there feel so secure in their decision to have placed their child at Calo. Calo is a magical place, when you think there is no hope , you can find hope at Calo.

The front reception desk team is friendly , attentive and helpful. I have never felt so seen , welcomed and accepted. The NP I saw was so down to earth and understanding. My therapist was genuine and I truly felt heard. After a horrible experience with another facility with Burrell I came here, and I m so glad I did. Courtney , Hannah and Tanner are all amazing team members here. I m very sad to be moving again, and leaving their care. But I won t forget the kindness and generosity I experienced here. Thank you all so much for what you do. I wish I could send everyone here.So warm , welcoming and inviting. Snacks , water and charging stations and vending machines in the lobby really make a difference for people who are waiting on rides or waiting in between appointments. I can t say enough good things. I have a extreme phobia of the dentist to the point I can't even eat but the lady at the desk is so nice. She talks to me and helps give me courage about my appointments. All of the dentist and other people who work there are so kind with me and give me all the time I need. They even schedule me in the late afternoon hours so there isn't as much people there which makes it alot easier for me. They keep me so calm and explain everything they do to me before even doing it. I really appreciate this place because all the other places I've been too have increased my phobia but this place has helped ease it esch time! I am slowly getting better with cleanings!

I cannot speak highly enough about Sunflower Recovery Center and their 90-day treatment program. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt a genuine sense of care and professionalism. The program is well-structured, with a perfect balance of therapy and support to live a healthy life in recovery. What truly sets Sunflower apart, though, is the incredible leadership of Katie, the Executive Director. Katie is more than just a director she s a passionate advocate for each individual s recovery journey. She takes the time to personally connect with clients, offering encouragement, guidance, and even a listening ear when needed. Her dedication to the well-being of everyone in the program is clear, and it s evident that she cares deeply about our success, both during the program and after. I never felt like I was just another client; Katie and her team ensured I had the tools and resources I needed to build a strong foundation for my sobriety. I never felt judged, but instead felt supported and encouraged every step of the way. The holistic approach to healing addressing mental, emotional, and physical well-being made all the difference in my recovery. Under Katie s guidance, the program is not just a one-size-fits-all approach; it s personalized and thoughtfully crafted to address the specific needs of each individual.I am forever grateful for the entire Sunflower team for helping me take the first steps toward lasting sobriety. Sunflower is a place where you re not just another client you re a person who matters.
