I absolutely love this pharmacy! All staff are so nice and helpful and are willing to do whatever it takes to get you, your medications and the wait is not long at all. After a few short moments they generally have your medications ready and are sending you on your way out the door. Very clean and professional environment. I have never had a problem coming here to get my medications refilled. I'll definitely be continually coming to this pharmacy for my medication refills! 💊

The front reception desk team is friendly , attentive and helpful. I have never felt so seen , welcomed and accepted. The NP I saw was so down to earth and understanding. My therapist was genuine and I truly felt heard. After a horrible experience with another facility with Burrell I came here, and I’m so glad I did. Courtney , Hannah and Tanner are all amazing team members here. I’m very sad to be moving again, and leaving their care. But I won’t forget the kindness and generosity I experienced here. Thank you all so much for what you do. I wish I could send everyone here. So warm , welcoming and inviting. Snacks , water and charging stations and vending machines in the lobby really make a difference for people who are waiting on rides or waiting in between appointments. I can’t say enough good things. Thanks again y’all.

When I went to school here it wasn't UCM, it was CMSU. The name has changed but it is the same great school i remember. I've a lot of fond memories of this university. UCM has an excellent staff and faculty. The school has paid extra attention to provide students with all the needed facilities and more. UCM is a hidden gem here in the middle of Missouri. i would suggest that high school graduates and non-traditional students explore various opportunities UCM offers. Tuition is a lot of cheaper than other schools, while educational excellence is exceptional.

If your child’s reactive behaviors keep your family in safety protocols, constant crisis and recovery cycles, inpatient and short-term residential placements that are not making a dent, then CALO is the place to explore as the solution you’ve been praying for. We utilized every service our state and local community: offered mental health services, behavioral health services, in-home support, wrap around, inpatient, short-term residential over night staff in our home, and still our family was unstable without solutions to actually help our child heal his complex PTSD from his foster youth abuse history. 2025-2026 Calo staff is responsive and transparent with parents. Amazing team leads who are passionate about their work saving these kids lives by providing a safe space for them to heal in positive relationships. Therapy team is top notch with people moving their families to Lake Ozark to do this special work. Our son is safe and well connected and moving forward in his healing in ways we could not support at home: multiple therapy groups, family therapy, individual therapy, Neurofeedback, animal assisted therapy and OT. The school teachers are the best and this is the first school where our son is actually participating in academics! Our son is having so much fun (it’s like summer camp all year round), he did not realize how much time had passed. He also says he enjoys school! That is a HUGE win! We have seen measurable progress in his self regulation and safety. I LOVE the family days when we parents are on campus and in the kid’s homes doing activities together.

This place truly saved my daughter’s life. Like any facility, there are ups and downs, but even my daughter will tell you that coming here changed the course of her life. Making the decision to send your child away for treatment is incredibly difficult, but if your child is truly struggling—especially with attachment issues and related challenges—you will not regret choosing this program. On the girls’ side, Malinda is an exceptional therapist. She has helped my daughter grow immensely and has also provided tremendous support and guidance to our family. We will always be grateful for the impact she had on our daughter’s healing and progress. The biggest area for improvement is aftercare. I understand that insurance changes and logistics can make this complicated, but there should be more continuity of care when girls transition home after an extended stay. It can feel like support is suddenly cut off at a time when families need it most. Another challenge has been medication management after discharge. Providing a longer supply of medications at discharge, when possible, would help families avoid gaps in care. We’ve faced significant insurance hurdles trying to obtain refills and reconnect with providers, which has created unnecessary stress during an already challenging transition. Despite those challenges, I highly recommend this program to families with children who are struggling. The growth, healing, and hope it gave my daughter and our family have been truly life-changing.

An Outstanding Therapist Within an Imperfect System: A Nuanced Review First, the things Compass Health gets clearly right: the building is genuinely impressive. It is clean, well maintained, and welcoming in a way many behavioral health facilities are not. The waiting area is bright and organized, and there is a dedicated children's area with a wide variety of clean toys and interactive activities that would put most parents at ease. The space for children is clearly well thought out, and the whole facility projects a sense that the environment provided to patients genuinely matters. Whoever manages the upkeep here is doing an excellent job. The most important part of my experience, though, is my therapist. Kaliesha Walker-Thompson is, without exaggeration, one of the finest therapists I have worked with across decades of mental health treatment. I had my first in-person session with her today after many previous telehealth appointments, and I left feeling genuinely lighter and calmer. She is warm, perceptive, and deeply skilled, and she creates a space where difficult topics feel safe to explore. She balances compassionate listening with practical therapeutic direction in a way that is both rare and extremely valuable. I cannot recommend her highly enough. If you are assigned to her, or can request her, I strongly encourage you to do so. I am giving Compass Health as an organization four stars instead of five because of some system level policies that work against individualized care. One example of one of these policies is a rigid organizational stance against benzodiazepines applied as a blanket rule instead of a true case by case clinical evaluation. For patients who have been stable for nearly two decades with carefully monitored medications under a knowledgeable PCP, a one size fits all policy is not individualized medicine. Individual patient histories deserve individual clinical consideration, not a sweeping institutional rule. Another concern is the requirement to establish very formal, specifically worded treatment goals at the very first session, before you and your therapist have had more than a session together. You are expected to fill in a template about your problem, the exact treatment method, and a time frame, even though you have barely begun to share your history or build rapport. That process feels driven more by paperwork than by the natural development of a therapeutic relationship, and it puts the administrative cart before the clinical horse. There are also structural rules such as strict time restrictions, even when they believe something else would serve the patient better. A therapist who believes a patient needs just a little extra time after surfacing a traumatic memory should be empowered to provide that, especially when there is no one scheduled immediately afterward, instead of being constrained by policy strictly limiting session times. In my experience, the quality of providers here can be very hit or miss. Sometimes you are matched with an excellent therapist, and sometimes you end up with someone who is not a good fit. There does not seem to be a strong process for matching clients with providers based on compatibility, so you may need to advocate for yourself and request a change until you find someone you truly connect with. When you do find the right person, as I have with Kaliesha, the care can be outstanding. The bottom line: the facility is clean, safe, and welcoming, and therapists like Kaliesha Walker-Thompson are absolutely exceptional. My experience with her today was fantastic, and I felt heard, respected, and genuinely helped. Her EMDR sessions are extremely helpful, and she is well-trained in EMDR. I am giving four stars because of organizational policies and structures, not because of any problem with my therapist or this visit. I would highly recommend Kaliesha to anyone receiving care at Compass Health Network. Photos of the facility exterior (including crisis line number and hours) are attached.

I am writing to share my experience at Synergy, which has far exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped onto the property, it felt like home. The staff is nurturing, loving, and supportive, offering a holistic approach to recovery that equips clients with unique skills and tools. The opportunity to experience new things in a safe, well-balanced environment helps the brain establish new pathways, supporting the skills taught during the stay. Furthermore, the clients you go through recovery with become your biggest fans and closest friends. Synergy also provides informative resources to continue introspection, healing, and growth after departure. My stay focused on Complex PTSD, Anxiety, and Depression. Although I was initially nervous about taking this step for myself in an environment with mixed treatment needs, I quickly realized I made the right decision. I cannot recommend Synergy enough.
