Wonder facility! Great communication and care of my daughter. The doctor is incredible and so much compassion was taken and they really got to the bottom of things. I definitely recommend Royal Oaks as #1! Only down side, beds are rock hard, pillows are tiny and hard and one or two staff members ignored my daughter as she felt. But overall.... If she needs to go back anywhere,it will be Royal Oaks for sure!

One of the best hospitals around! They actually take the time to help each patient, lots of interactive activities during treatment. My family member was being treated for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. The psychiatrist prescribed them a new medication to help with OCD. I m not sure how long the insurance covers but this is acute so between probably 3-10 days I m guessing or week average, maybe some go a bit longer. Very structured setting with lots of activities and friendly tech nurses. Would recommend to any family seeking short term acute care for a teen in crisis or dealing with other behavioral issues.

I absolutely love this pharmacy! All staff are so nice and helpful and are willing to do whatever it takes to get you, your medications and the wait is not long at all. After a few short moments they generally have your medications ready and are sending you on your way out the door. Very clean and professional environment. I have never had a problem coming here to get my medications refilled. I'll definitely be continually coming to this pharmacy for my medication refills!

Can't rave enough about the facility, staff and straight forward care at this facility. So far.. very impressed, down to Earth Folks from the moment I walked into the door. Met my Male Army nurse (John I think) Dr. Yutz is a serious keeper. Even the Vampire Lady in Lab that took my blood was wonderful and made me feel welcomed. These folks care about their clients and Soldiers. Treat them as Humans with Respect and never just a number. So very helpful and explained things to help educate me on my health and how things work with the VA health system. They even set up 3 future appointments for me. Could not ask for a better Med Team then this location. Worth the wait! Thank You Sedalia VA. Hats off to a great operation.

The front reception desk team is friendly , attentive and helpful. I have never felt so seen , welcomed and accepted. The NP I saw was so down to earth and understanding. My therapist was genuine and I truly felt heard. After a horrible experience with another facility with Burrell I came here, and I m so glad I did. Courtney , Hannah and Tanner are all amazing team members here. I m very sad to be moving again, and leaving their care. But I won t forget the kindness and generosity I experienced here. Thank you all so much for what you do. I wish I could send everyone here.So warm , welcoming and inviting. Snacks , water and charging stations and vending machines in the lobby really make a difference for people who are waiting on rides or waiting in between appointments. I can t say enough good things. I have a extreme phobia of the dentist to the point I can't even eat but the lady at the desk is so nice. She talks to me and helps give me courage about my appointments. All of the dentist and other people who work there are so kind with me and give me all the time I need. They even schedule me in the late afternoon hours so there isn't as much people there which makes it alot easier for me. They keep me so calm and explain everything they do to me before even doing it. I really appreciate this place because all the other places I've been too have increased my phobia but this place has helped ease it esch time! I am slowly getting better with cleanings!

My teen incurred multiple terrifying and alienating experiences to their birthmother during her pregnancy. It was a closed adoption and their adoptive Daddy died of cancer when she was 4. If CALO didn t exist, I m afraid my kid wouldn t either. CALO isn t magic. It is the practice of repeating healthy appropriate tlc hundreds of times a day. Every staff member I have ever met does this, their trauma therapist does this, and the teachers do it. If the wall you are up against is How can I keep them safe?, call CALO.

I just returned from our first parent child retreat at Calo. Our adopted child has dual diagnoses and primarily RAD- reactive attachment disorder and has been at Calo for two months. The retreats are quarterly. This retreat reinforced that my child is in the absolutely right place. Not only was the retreat very well thought out and executed but seeing how loving and friendly the staff are to the students made every parent there feel so secure in their decision to have placed their child at Calo. Calo is a magical place, when you think there is no hope , you can find hope at Calo.
