Have been going there for years. I have always been happy with both the medical side and the pharmaceutical side. Love the girls at the pharmacy. So down to earth. Very nice people and very helpful. Very pleased with the care and concern I am receiving from Dr. Thripura Thirtala. She asks me questions that make me think 🤔 which help her determine the best medications and self care practices I should be doing. She is a delight to work with. I would like to address an unfortunate situation. The text message I received to do this review came at 2:53 am on a Saturday morning. THIS IS NOT PREFERRED!! I have issues with sleep anyway…receiving that text message that early really messed with my day. PLEASE adjust your system to NOT do that again.

Very happy with all the knowledge I left here with. The accommodations are pretty good (only recovery place I've been). But others who have been to others, mentioned how much better this place is. Just keep in mind you are going there to focus on you. Absorb all the group information and take notes. The staff os all amazing!

The staff at the Aviary, particularly the wonderful nurses, were a crucial factor in my experience. The program's structure is solid if you listen, learn and keep an open mind. The group experience was average, although some were much better than others. All in all, I am very grateful that I found a place to heal and clear my mind. I have to say the food is average, and the "barn" needs central air. I had to leave a few times because of the heat. However, I needed help, and I found it here.

We delivered our baby here and felt surrounded by compassionate, professional and genuine medical staff the entire time. Our baby had a few complications so we were admitted for several days and everyone we encountered was patient and answered our many questions with empathy and professionalism-and trust me I had so many questions as my baby was being treated. Every shift we would meet a new nurse for me and another for our baby. They were all wonderful, I truly can’t say enough nice things about our experience. This includes the kitchen and janitorial team who were also kind and genuine. The facility was clean with convenient amenities. God bless this group of dedicated men and women for making a difference ❤️

The counselors Sarah and Mr. Fuget are the best counselor hands down and feel everyone knows Dr Kulkarni is the best. When Sarah left to go to the children's side I was worried about who my new counselor would be and Mr. Fuget delivered. I have meet even Doctors here that had no compassion but these 3 are seriously heaven sent humans!

Just wanted to come on here and leave an update since my last review. I only have one thing to say… BRING BACK Becky!!!
The only reason I’m giving this place a five star rating is because of Nancy, Becky! These nurses are amazing and go above and beyond. They are so overworked and at times very unappreciated by some of the clients. High five to Mark and Jeff as well these two councilors are handling very heavy caseloads but still manage to show that they love their job and want what’s best for their clients. They also know how to handle the hot headed ones 😂🙋🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ the reasons I could have given it a one star:
Their drug lab sucks!! 50 percent of the time their results are wrong. You could be 100 percent clean and the test could come back positive. They know the lab sucks but says there is nothing they can do about it… when they send it back to be retested then most of the time the true results will come back. But now they have this new rule where you have to pay 35 dollars for your test to be retested!! It’s a money making scam!! They tell you the lab sucks and most of the time will get your results wrong but now wanna charge you 35 to have it sent back!??!? They know they’ll make hella money! What pisses me off is for the one such as myself who are on probation, this could potentially get me in huge trouble! Thank god I get hair follicles from the state! For the love of God New Seasons… GET A NEW LAB!!

What an outstanding experience at Turning Point, I enjoyed talking to my counselor, she actually seemed to care about her patients unlike some of my past counselors at other facilities, there is a structured program to follow that helps you to stay sober! Dr. Shiue is an amazing physician, she was my son's pedestrian, I remember him getting sick and i would call and she would always see him I know she worked through lunch and stayed late as well. He was 21 and no longer technically her patient but had not seen an adult Phyician and was going to be over a week to get in, I called the office with my concerns, they spoke with her and she saw him through her lunch break, Dr. Shiue also called the adult Doctor and got him in the next day, turned out he had a really bad case of pneumonia. Dr. Shiue also gave me her private cell number to call her if I needed anything. She is totally an amazing person as well as a physician, she really cares about her patients and the parents as well, she has called me after hours to follow up on my son. It was very hard to move on to an adult physician. I can not say enough about the staff and her. My son is now grown and is expecting a little one of his own and of course Dr. Shiue will be her Doctor. I trusted her with my son and now my Granddaughter 100 %. Dr. Shiue is one in a million and can't say how happy I am she will be seeing my Granddaughter

They got my granddaughter in very quick. They accessed her bug bite, and it's nothing to worry about. While checking her out, the doctor noticed her throat looked like possible step throat, but luckily, it wasn't. The patient and her sister got Popsicles, which they loved, and a sticker on the way out.

The mental health program here is absolutely wonderful. The staff is compassionate and sincerely care about their patients. My nurses Bob, Alyssa, Jennifer, Annie, Jordan (and many more overnight nurses as well as doctors) were absolutely the best!! The recreational therapist Elisa was literally sunshine in human form.

I was hospitalized here for a week. I was desperate and about to take my own life. This place, and the staff truly saved me. I know I was a much easier case than many of my fellow patients, but without the staff and the doctors help to stabilize my mental health and medication, I may not be here today.
If you're struggling mentally, the fact that they have a mental health emergency room is SO SIGNIFICANT. My experience with the staff, the facilities, even the food was so much better than I ever expected.
If you have to go somewhere. GO HERE.

Really good facility and has helped more than any place I’ve ever received help/treatment. Great staff, really clean place, helpful and productive caregiving. They teach communication skills, learning respectful and affective manners, self control and ability to be aware, mindful and insightful of self and others around us. And most importantly help the kids learn how to utilize resources and choose to control as well as contributing patience to set goals to let things take time needed. As well as maintaining the idea to be active in being responsible by having chores and set routines. Workers throughout always act on situations in needs and impact the clients and their views because of their true genuine positivity in they’re methods. They always have consistent, structured groups and activities, constantly making sure the kids have fun. Consistently giving engaging life skills and how to function in an everyday life in the outside world. Full of good energy, love, compassion, kindness, reliable, consideration towards each client, but still holding ground to teach kids to take no for an answer, showing and modeling negative, hateful, disrespectful or ignorant behaviors are not acceptable. Really healthy and effective place. BUT ONE DOWNSIDE IS KYLA IS A HORRIBLE THERAPIST😉
