Have been going there for years. I have always been happy with both the medical side and the pharmaceutical side. Love the girls at the pharmacy. So down to earth. Very nice people and very helpful. They get me in pretty quick and Dr Greenwell is thorough in explaining things. The nurses are very nice, great bedside manner and down to earth too.

Just had an annual visit. Melissa (with the boots) was awesome. Friendly, attentive, and professional. My tech was also great! Upbeat and professional and his blood draw was perfect. Everyone there was good to deal with.

I had an amazing experience here at The Aviary. The staff were very helpful & knowledgeable. Like any other in-patient place, if you treat the staff with respect, they will return the favor. I liked the fact that they would hire former clients who were living in recovery. It was motivating to me. I would never want to return as a client, but defiantly as an employee!!

Good place if u want help, not perfect but it is what u make off it! Staff friendly, beautiful property, counselors n nurses genuinely want to help! Besides one person on staff that I hope is immediately fired bc she is disrespectful n on power trip, won’t say her name but starts with A and rymes with me! lol im greatful for my short stay there and genuinely thank you all for ur kindness 🤙🏻

Very happy with all the knowledge I left here with. The accommodations are pretty good (only recovery place I've been). But others who have been to others, mentioned how much better this place is. Just keep in mind you are going there to focus on you. Absorb all the group information and take notes. The staff os all amazing!

I was at the ER yesterday & saw a Dr. King who I had seen before in January & he is the best doctor there. He is very thorough in what he does & check you out completely. I had a fractured collar bone & was having a lot of pain is why I went. Of course, he found that I had an UTI, plus he did an EKG., a breathing test & an ultrasound of my chest to see about what was causing all my pain. I was only there about 3hrs & felt like I got a complete physical exam. I highly recommend SSM

My visit to the pain management clinic at SSM Health was the same as always, it was SUPER! It's always wonderful, all the people there are always so nice to you, that's not my the case everywhere. All the doctors and nurses are always great and so nice to you, also, I have to admit , I Joanna Smith is my favorite person. She is sooo nice and positive to me and she always has an answer to my questions and for whatever problems I'm dealing with at any given time. I've been to a lot of doctors, and dealt with a lot of doctors, nurses and office workers in my life and you don't find the kind of joyful, caring and good hearted people that you do find at SSM Healthcares pain management clinic very often! They are truly a special group of people! I'm so thankful that I was lucky enough, actually BLESSED to find them when I needed them!
So, THANK YOU Joanna, and THANK YOU to all of the rest of the very special people in the pain management department at SSM Healthcare!

The counselors Sarah and Mr. Fuget are the best counselor hands down and feel everyone knows Dr Kulkarni is the best. When Sarah left to go to the children's side I was worried about who my new counselor would be and Mr. Fuget delivered. I have meet even Doctors here that had no compassion but these 3 are seriously heaven sent humans!
I have been a patient there since it first opened down West Edgewood with Dr. Timothy Vaughn as my primary care Physician and now Dr. Terri Stone at the new location. I have had nothing but outstanding care there.

I moved from MN to Holt Summit and care and attention to the veteran is 1000% better at Jefferson City and Truman Hospital in Columbia. My primary doctor is Dr Stone and she is so professional, thorough and dedicated to detail. Everyone is so professional and friendly.

My primary care provider, Dr. Tawnya Jerome, and her nurse are truly outstanding professionals. I owe my life to the VA system, which has supported me for over 31 years.”

the best service i’ve experienced in jeff city by far, i am disabled and have so many chronic illnesses, ssm treated me like they were mad i was there, this place cares. nurse ann and nurse practitioner ashley were so amazing
I’ve had very positive experiences with this company. Especially Addie (my caseworker) and Chad, a community support specialist who always had the wisdom one needs when feeling low in life. Grateful for this company. It’s not perfect. But, it’s better than nothing at all. 💚🙏

Dr. Norvell is the most amazing doctor ever!!! Know matter how scared and worried my kids are to get their dentals done. She always finds a way to calm them and make them feel comfortable. She does an amazing job!

Compass Health is an under knownabout God Send..A well thought out Total Health Network, that has serving points for the total human experience... Body (Primary Care Physicians) Mind (Physchiatrics) Soul (Substance Use Disorder) "Dental" Care on Site; and maybe "Vision Care" coming in the future... They are able to go into the field with company vehicles and visit clients, and also provide rides to the headquarters for in person care and classes, which is of the utmost importance for the downtrodden and less fortunate .. My Counselor is Terra Trent, a very intelligent, wonderful sweet soul, with great insight to the human condition and a special nurturing side that always shines through her soul... My Community Support is Michelle Wapple, a more perfect job she couldnt have found... Caring and Loving and Kind, is what the job calls for, and she is that PERSONIFIED... They never make you feel like you are just a paycheck for them, and are just putting in their time till their next break and clocking out time... They should add an "ION" on to their name ... And be COMPASSION Health Network Inc. In my very humble opinion...

Just wanted to come on here and leave an update since my last review. I only have one thing to say… BRING BACK Becky!!!
The only reason I’m giving this place a five star rating is because of Nancy, Becky! These nurses are amazing and go above and beyond. They are so overworked and at times very unappreciated by some of the clients. High five to Mark and Jeff as well these two councilors are handling very heavy caseloads but still manage to show that they love their job and want what’s best for their clients. They also know how to handle the hot headed ones 😂🙋🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ the reasons I could have given it a one star:
Their drug lab sucks!! 50 percent of the time their results are wrong. You could be 100 percent clean and the test could come back positive. They know the lab sucks but says there is nothing they can do about it… when they send it back to be retested then most of the time the true results will come back. But now they have this new rule where you have to pay 35 dollars for your test to be retested!! It’s a money making scam!! They tell you the lab sucks and most of the time will get your results wrong but now wanna charge you 35 to have it sent back!??!? They know they’ll make hella money! What pisses me off is for the one such as myself who are on probation, this could potentially get me in huge trouble! Thank god I get hair follicles from the state! For the love of God New Seasons… GET A NEW LAB!!

What an outstanding experience at Turning Point, I enjoyed talking to my counselor, she actually seemed to care about her patients unlike some of my past counselors at other facilities, there is a structured program to follow that helps you to stay sober! I would recommend this center to anyone who needs a real change!

Dr. Shiue is an amazing physician, she was my son's pedestrian, I remember him getting sick and i would call and she would always see him I know she worked through lunch and stayed late as well. He was 21 and no longer technically her patient but had not seen an adult Phyician and was going to be over a week to get in, I called the office with my concerns, they spoke with her and she saw him through her lunch break, Dr. Shiue also called the adult Doctor and got him in the next day, turned out he had a really bad case of pneumonia. Dr. Shiue also gave me her private cell number to call her if I needed anything. She is totally an amazing person as well as a physician, she really cares about her patients and the parents as well, she has called me after hours to follow up on my son. It was very hard to move on to an adult physician. I can not say enough about the staff and her. My son is now grown and is expecting a little one of his own and of course Dr. Shiue will be her Doctor. I trusted her with my son and now my Granddaughter 100 %. Dr. Shiue is one in a million and can't say how happy I am she will be seeing my Granddaughter

They got my granddaughter in very quick. They accessed her bug bite, and it's nothing to worry about. While checking her out, the doctor noticed her throat looked like possible step throat, but luckily, it wasn't. The patient and her sister got Popsicles, which they loved, and a sticker on the way out.
I just loved Dr C. She really listened to me and is a very compassionate person.

I have been living sober and happy for more than two years, thanks to the support I received at Mercy Behavioral Health. The therapy I received was very helpful, they gave me the necessary tools to cope with my problems, I feel very grateful to them for all the support they gave me.

Thanks for sending her home. Smart move. My daughter says she was assaulted in this place back in 2019 I didn't take her accusation seriously. I believe it.
There are some good and some bad things that had happened during my son's admission. I will start with the bad, as it was much less, there wasn't communication between myself and any of his care team. I never really knew what was going on unless my son directly told me during his phone calls. Not knowing what they were thinking about his status and what had caused him to get to the point where he was and how we could help him was upsetting.
Now to the good, and I will say after reading other reviews I was honestly TERRIFIED for him to go there. I sat in the ER with him my stomach in knots and scared not knowing what he would endure after they took him from me. After speaking with him the first day I knew everything was going to be ok. My son told me he was ok and that everything he knew I read was not accurate. My son said as long as they followed the rules and did what was expected of them everything was fine. That he was rather shocked how much they were fed, how they were able to do group, and mostly how they were treated with respect as long as they did the same.

The mental health program here is absolutely wonderful. The staff is compassionate and sincerely care about their patients. My nurses Bob, Alyssa, Jennifer, Annie, Jordan (and many more overnight nurses as well as doctors) were absolutely the best!! The recreational therapist Elisa was literally sunshine in human form.
Really good facility and has helped more than any place I’ve ever received help/treatment. Great staff, really clean place, helpful and productive caregiving. They teach communication skills, learning respectful and affective manners, self control and ability to be aware, mindful and insightful of self and others around us. And most importantly help the kids learn how to utilize resources and choose to control as well as contributing patience to set goals to let things take time needed. As well as maintaining the idea to be active in being responsible by having chores and set routines. Workers throughout always act on situations in needs and impact the clients and their views because of their true genuine positivity in they’re methods. They always have consistent, structured groups and activities, constantly making sure the kids have fun. Consistently giving engaging life skills and how to function in an everyday life in the outside world. Full of good energy, love, compassion, kindness, reliable, consideration towards each client, but still holding ground to teach kids to take no for an answer, showing and modeling negative, hateful, disrespectful or ignorant behaviors are not acceptable. Really healthy and effective place. BUT ONE DOWNSIDE IS KYLA IS A HORRIBLE THERAPIST😉
