I went to SSM for an accidental overdose for 2 weeks on my ADHD stimulants. The following day my symptoms worsened and I called SSM and they informed me that they did not have a Psychiatrist on staff and I was therefore sent to BJC in Wentzville. Thank God!! Everything about this hospital far exceeded my expectations!! When I got there, I was the only person waiting to be seen! The gentleman at the front desk was so kind and even though he was just trying to get a little basic info., he let me rattle on all my symptoms without interrupting me. After a long period of excessive talking, he gently told me that I could talk about all of this with the Psychiatrist, which put me at ease! I was walked back to a private room which has never happened to me and I have been to many hospitals. I didn’t have to go through triage and my vitals were taken in my room by a super caring lady! The security guard came in and he could not have been any nicer!! He told me everything to expect and went through my bags and sent everything out to the car with my husband except my coat and shoes. He indicated that I could not have my med. Box with me which did scare me because historically I have not been given my meds. Until after seeing the doctor and the pharmacist. He could tell I was nervous and requested that the nurse update me on this procedure. She immediately came in and told me that she had my medication list and I would receive all of my meds. On-time. The doctor came to see me within 30 min. And was the nicest and most informative doctor that I have ever had and spent 30 min. With me giving me all the medical recommendations he had as I also had a severe viral infection causing sores all over my mouth, severe body aches, bruises all over my body, including under my eye. I told him what the 1st hospital had recommended I do, and he informed to stop all of it and that it would only irritate my infection, especially all the over-the-counter items I was using. He spoke with the Psychiatrist and came back to see me again after getting the Psychiatrists course of action, and spent another 30 min. With me extensively answering all of my questions. This was rare because I had a lot and at most hospitals you are lucky to get 10-15 questions with the doctor. The nurse was also very helpful getting me an extra pillow and 4 cups of ice chips because it was was the only thing easing the pain in my mouth. I was quickly discharged feeling like my husband, who stayed with me the whole time, and I could manage my treatment plan!! The best hospital I have ever been to and will never go anywhere else, as well as referring anyone I know with a medical or mental health crisis!!!

LIFECHANGERS Missouri truly changed my life. I was given the opportunity to spend an entire year focusing on Jesus and receiving the healing I needed to overcome lifelong addiction. Throughout the program, I never had to worry about paying for food or shelter, which allowed me to fully focus on my recovery and my relationship with Christ.
The staff was incredibly loving, compassionate, and attentive. What made such a difference was that many of them had walked the same road I had, so they understood exactly what I was going through. They offered hope because they had experienced the same transformation in their own lives.
One of the greatest gifts of the program was becoming part of something bigger than myself. I found purpose, community, and a new way of living. I graduated from the program four years ago, and today I have the privilege of serving on staff. Looking back, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for how much my life has changed. LIFECHANGERS Missouri didn’t just help me overcome addiction—it introduced me to a life of freedom, purpose, and hope in Jesus Christ. I will always be thankful for this ministry and highly recommend it to anyone who is ready for a life-changing encounter with God.

Union, MO | Their outpatient care consists of meetings with trained counselors and case workers. There’s a wide range of approaches to choose from, including psychiatry, bioneural feedback, and transcranial magnetic stimulation for seizures and hallucinations. Meds are available if you need help with withdrawals and cravings. Peer support and group counselin | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I have been seeing Dr. Glick for approximately 2 and 1/2 years now and I seen him before too . He is an amazing doctor, is sincere, great bedside manners. He's a very caring doctor and even though he sees a lot of patience because he not only has his clinical hours but he also dedicates time to people in recovery. He is a very dedicated and passionate doctor. Who you can tell was what he does and cares about the people he treats. He always remembers his patience and does a really good job remembering what you tell him. Even if it's about things happening in your life. He goes above and beyond to care for his patients. The nursing staff that works alongside him. They are also very courteous, kind and caring. The young lady who does The scheduling for x-rays, MRI stuff like that and also looks for specialist for patients that need it. She is also very kind and sweet and goes above and beyond get you in in for whether it's just a simple x-ray all the way up to a specialist. She doesn't just get you the information to contact them. She doesn't just make you an appointment with somebody. She calls you after she finds someone and ask you if that's okay if it'll work for you and then ask you if you want the information to make the appointment or she can do it for you and as many patients as Dr. Glicks's sees I'm sure there's quite a few that need an x-ray or something so she is just as busy but still takes the time out with each patient to make sure that what they need is taken care of. So to me she also goes above and beyond to help. His nurse's even though it's not their job to schedule you an appointment under certain circumstances they will help and schedule you an appointment back, especially. If it's a short notice appointment and you are already a patient there. If you're not a patient at compass health with Dr. Glick It takes about 30 days to get your first appointment, but it is well worth the wait. If you a good doctor who loves his job cares for his patients, then the 30-day wait is nothing. If you need a recovery doctor he is amazing there too. He really cares a lot about your recovery and wants to see you succeed and will help get you to where you need to be. He's not judgmental nor is his staff of nurses or or any other person that works in the office. Whatever their job may be, you don't feel judged. They have a portal for patients so once you become a patient you are able to access the patient portal. Leave a message for the doctor or the nurse, whichever you may need to leave at for , even the scheduler does all the like I said scheduling for x-rays and imaging services, etc. You leave a message and they'll get back to you as soon as they can. It normally never takes more than a couple days. Even if you live in St. Louis, rather it's the city or the county the compass health he is at is in Union Missouri but it is worth it for the drive. If you're on Medicaid they will. If you call transportation get you there with transportation. I would say always tell them if your appointment's at 10:00 a.m. Tell them 9:45 9:50 because they're sometimes getting there late. Another good thing about him is if you're your late as long as you're not habitually late every appointment you tell the receptionist to get his nurse. He will still see you. So don't not go and if you have an appointment behind because the odds are you're still going to get seen. Especially coming along the ways and having to use medical transportation. They understand that compass health Union Missouri is a great place. I haven't been to their dentist our mental health there, but the staff I've seen for both have all been very respectful. Polite and helpful with the people seeing them I've took someone to The compass health wentzville from what I have seen and I've never seen the doctors or anything there. I just took and in-law there for mental health and the staff that I did see were helpful in courteous. I don't know about the actors. But I do highly recommend compass health Union Missouri.

Missouri is ranked 29th nationwide in terms of addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $56,782.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Missouri vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of the treatment types listed above. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below.
There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Missouri. Most treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance.
