This place was all about helping others get to the starting point in your life to see there is life out there without drugs if you want it that bad you can have it . Even though I left there and I relapsed 4 years ago that was my choice that I made because I wasn't ready then . Now I'm thriving ,sober ,have my kids back in my life ,and a new baby girl . This place made a big impact on my life that's why I'm writing this review 4 years later after I left. Some of the staffs inspiring stories and words is what got me to where I am today and I'm very thankful for that. Recovery will only work if u let it and it's hard work but yout have to put in the work to get in life you want to go . Don't give up . I would be lieing if I said recovery is easy but one day u will wake up and realize it gets easier u just got to.want it and put 100% in to get it

Wonderful place to find your sobriety!! The counselors and nurses are absolutely amazing! The faculty are the kindest! Amazing food and a beautiful campus!

Great counselors and staff. You have to put in the effort and want the recovery. Never give up because you are the only one that predicts your future of your sobriety. The greatest gift you can give to yourself.

My son went there. I hope he will stay sober n not go back on drugs. It took over a year to get him in.

The trainings that you have offered via zoom have allowed our staff to attend more trainings which increases the services we provide

I honestly don't believe any of the negative reviews, those are from people that do not have the ability to be pleased.The facilities are for helping people in need of the resources they supply and the resources are excellent. The staff is more than amazing every time I walk through the door!! I'd love to give them 10 stars!

This location has come along way compared to the way it was before. I’ve been coming here since 2022 and have had better progress and experience than I’ve had with any other facility in my part of Illinois/St. Louis. Although the psychiatric program is horrible and the therapy program would be excellent if you weren’t spending more time getting to know a new therapist every 6 months instead of working on your issues. (so when another job position opens up and pays more these therapist up and leave). For the most part I don’t have anything bad to say about this place my doctor is Kevin Garner and he’s the best primary care Provider that I’ve ever had. He cares and if he can help me with anything he does are points me into the direction I’m supposed to go. I recommend this place for anything from drug addiction to the flu are just getting your meds filled. Just go find a therapist or a psychiatrist somewhere else!!!

Very good place I went to it in person a few times for one thing that covered a lot of things and got it cleared up quick then went through a little bit of it on the phone and took care of some more issues really quick

I was here back in 2010; obviously grew up a lot since then, I enjoyed this more than school and remember it significantly, only wish that I could of been able to sit outside more.

I used to be depressed and suicidal, but now I'm only a little depressed and not suicidal at all. Tysm ilysm. And I hope you still have that picture of you. I'm crying rn if you actually respond. 🥰🥰🥰 I really want to go back even though I'm all better. If you have any suicidal thoughts go see a counselor, or go to mercy/ hospital but only if you don't feel safe at home. Don't make suicide into a joke. It's a serious thing. The staff was amazing. The groups were amazing. The snacks thet had was such a variety. christie the 2nd shift nurse was wondering! I found it helped me so much. No one there was judge.

JUST DO IT!! This facility was absolutely wonderful. Everything was nice and clean. Well maintained and all the amenities, included. It was never a problem to use the laundry room. Wash whatever needed to be washed you could take a shower whenever you felt necessary. Food and snacks galore. By the way, the food was pretty good, but they had movies games. You go to the gym every morning. Just everything you need to get in practice of living a healthy life And the staff is just amazing. If you have an open mind an open heart and you are ready and willing to change your life. These are the people that will help you do it it is not just a job to them them. They have lived it or lived with it in one fashion or another and they understand. they have compassion and empathy and they really want to see you succeed. The resources they have access to are amazing They will help you find a safe place to go if necessary after your treatment. there's just so much they will help you with but let me make it clear they will help you. They will not do it for you. You will have to do the leg work but they will help you. If it's out there they will help you or find someone who will help you get what you need. A lot of them spend their own time and money to make the experience More enjoyable and to take the edge off the seriousness sometimes. Far above and beyond what they have to do for sure. Just exceptional people I can say I did not have one bad experience. Some days I loved it. Some days I didn't want to be there but everyday I learned something whether I realized or not and sometimes it took a while to accept the truth but they were always there to talk to help to cheer you up. I laughed more than I have in years when you're in a room with people who have all been there, done that and you start telling stories. You just can't help but laugh sometimes the stupid things we do as addicts but you realize you're not alone and the past is the past tomorrow is a new day and it'll all be okay just take it one day at a time . There are so many people who made a difference in my life that I will never forget I can't possibly mention everyone by name but I would like to say thank you to all of you at Chestnut I would not be sitting here today with 3 months sober without you!
