As a person who became dependent on medication for chronic pain for many years, I decided it was time to be out from under them. I hadn't worked with anyone on this before, so I was pretty intimidated. No reason! These people treat everyone with respect and decency, without judgement. Not to mention they were able to help me that very day, and helped me to feel so much better immediately! Just a great asset to those of us who are in similar situations, and I would recommend them to anyone trying to rid themselves of the ever growing gorilla on their backs, like me. This was the best treatment center I have ever been to. The staff are so nice. The nurses are working so hard. The support staff are the best. My LAC Susan was especially the best I loved her. I cannot say enough how fabulous the team working one evening were when I showed up with my son. He was in seriously rough shape very, didn't make it past the front door. Emt was called to get him to the hospital.The staff were truly amazing from how they treated my son in kindness, communicating with firm but soft tones. Tim went above and beyond to personally connect with my son as much as he could under the circumstances. He truly cared for his well-being. Tim negotiated for my son to be able to have a cigarette and calm down before he would let EMT help him. My son will be admitting it soon. If this is the level of care I can expect, I am deeply hopeful that my son will find his reason to get the help he needs.Thank you, Team. thank you, Tim.Amazing experience! A little over a year ago I was referred to Pain Management at Ft. Harrison for arthritis and pinched nerves in my neck. For years I've been sent many different directions with little or no help. The team at PM told me they could do a Radio Frequency Ablation. The description of the procedure is a bit terrifying but I was miserable. The 3 part procedure brought a little relief at first, but after a month or so the pain and stiffness started to fade. Now I'm probably 95% better. "Thank You Pain Management "! First of all the bad review was bullcrap, if your not serious about getting straight, and you can't take the advice and change your life, you dont get on Google review and try to trash the people that were helping you.Next Damian and Ryan are beast at their jobs it takes alot to deal with grown men, who are learning how to be grown men, all the time. Even big josh is patient and on point when it comes to his job.Terri and Bob, man I can't say enough I was a mess and still a mess half the time. But they and their program saved my life. I learned new ways to cope with tragedies and to change my behavior based on principles and not emotions. Not everyone can create doors in people's lives where all they have had before were walls. Bob and Terri can. So yeah they were key in my recovery. I love em. What they have designed , here in montana to me is what I call family. Thank you

This place is absolutely life saving! The care the Case Managers and LAC s take with their clients is TOP-NOTCH! All but two of the TT s were amazing, and seemed very invested in patient recoveries, My counselor was both empathetic and challenging. And created a safe space for me to be honest with myself and her. I have been to this treatment center three times now. Every time I have gotten a lot out of it, but this last time changed my life. Sometimes I think people confuse treatment with a vacation and a spa. But if you are willing to try and do the work necessary, they Will go so far for you. But of course, they are not gonna work harder than you re willing to work. I can t say enough about the Case Manager currently she went above and Beyond for me. She had a massive impact on my heart, My life and my recovery. My counselor Case Manager, and the Director all made me feel like a priority. And sometimes I struggle with myself a priority. It meant the world to me.

This place teaches alot of useful skills like anger management, meditation, and focuses alot on mental health not just about staying sober. Teaches alot of relationship skills ect, Staff are all really kind and the rooms and showers are big and nice. It's alot better then I thought, but I wasn't forced into going, left early and didn't make it to graduate but been sober ever since the ninth and My relationships have improved let alone My physical health. Although my daughter has been here three times, each has been a God send. I ve had nothing but amazing interactions with staff. I see a lot of reviews saying the food was bad, but my daughter says it s hit or miss. You can t please people all the time and sometimes she says it s really good. If there s an incident on the unit I always get a call letting me know even if my kid was not involved. Her therapist is extremely responsive and genuinely cares and listens to our concerns. Kiddos to you Jenna S! Dr Hoffman has also been an amazing physician. He communicates everything, listens to our concerns, and answers our questions in language we understand. My daughter loves the staff and the staff love her. Why? Because she stays out of the drama and doesn t start or interact with fights. What goes around comes around, right? Life is always a work in progress and no one will ever leave cured but Shodair has always been there for us when it gets tuff.

YBGR was lowkey really nice, I loved it there. The food isn t top tier but it s a pretty good treatment place in my opinion. Sometimes there s some stupid and scary stuff that will happen like fights, but it is to be expected in treatment. But I liked it and I felt it was useful in the long run. I struggled with some staff but I really loved my staff in my lodge. Also, you will get consequences/accountability's for not following the rules, but I think it s a good thing set in place to hold people accountable. (I ve gotten a bit of a fair share of consequences so it s from experience). The place really helped my confidence and mental health without making me a med zombie. They have a Chemical Dependency program and AA to try to help kids who struggle with substance abuse issues and they have very kind counselors with CD. Cheryl was my CD counselor and I felt like she listened to me. Also thankyou to my PM Emily and my favorite day staff Marcos and overnight Zach! They did a lot for me then they might ve realized. Honest, treatment only works if your kid wants to work it. You can fight it and be miserable, or you can try to participate. And if you do, you ll likely get somewhere. Please don t blame the staff and foundation for the outcome, treatment can only work if you have the desire to get better. I was in Shumaker lodge!! 24-25

I was a patient in this facility from 2015-2016. I m not a big fan of most mental health facilities but this personally benefited me greatly. The charity gave to the foundation actually makes it to the children. They also provided children with appropriate fitting clothes if they didn t have them.

The staff, pm s, and therepists are all great, supportive, and very forgiving. no matter what you have done before you got there and will help you get over the habits and trauma you may have.

Dr Bakko I was referred to for administering multiple tests. As part of this he interviewed me and I am very poor at that. He helped keep me focused and many times had to patiently go back to probe deeper to clarify and really understand what I was saying. Because of my emotions, it s like a freight train driving through his office. He s gifted.The tests were administered in a very private, proffessional, clean, and quiet area. He is very organized and proffessional.He reviewed my answers and again made it very comfortable and open to discuss why I answered the way I did. He asked many different questions to understand my concerns. He was very patient and caring to make sure he understood my answers.A real medical proffessional!!!!
