Pro. I was comfortable in the room the entire time, and the cleanliness was excellent. The nurse Christine—the one with short hair—was the only one who offered to bathe me or give me a sponge bath; the other nurses wouldn't even come over to empty the urine into the toilet, even though I had undergone back surgery and couldn't get out of bed. Cons: They did not come at a set time to check on the patient—to see if he was doing well, needed more water, or needed to empty the urine container. Need improve: Set specific times—and ensure they are strictly observed—for a nurse to visit the patient to check if they need anything. Although there is a call button available, nurses often respond only via the intercom; they frequently fail to come in person to assess the situation or determine the nature of the emergency—they won't even bother to get up. luis albayero 3 weeks ago I will say I came to the Bay New Jersey Hospital and it was amazing. I came in for a kidney stone. My doctor Elliott was amazing. All the staff nurses treated me very well. My room was beautiful and clean. When I tell that staff was amazing....very attentive..listen to any questions and concerns I had. Doctors and nurses here are so so nice. Even the janitors and meal delivery persons asked me how I was doing and if I needed anything. The room is also very well kept, clean and organized. The nurse Sydney is absolutely the sweetest person you'll ever meet. I went there over a year ago and and she remembered me and made sure my stay there was comfortable. Unfortunately I've stayed at quite a few other facilities and NEVER was treated with such respect and kindness that she treated me with. She deserves a raise lol! On the other hand..I made a very good friend in my time staying there..we kept in touch and we were both struggling. I was trying to be a good girlfriend and put my own health aside waiting waiting for him. I now know know that I need further assistance than just detox . He's not even. Being a decent human being/and/or being nice about it. I tried called the Sterling location 5 times where my friend is. She told me there is in IN FACT beds available but the person on the phone wasnt so friendly..almost demeaning. He said "just because there's beds available doesn't mean there's beds available". I was very confused...almost like he didn't want to help me save my life. And he was just annoyed to be answering the phone. He told me over and over in an annoyed and stern voice as I was in tears to call back at 9am.
