I was referred to Dr. David J. Berler , MD by my gastroenterologist after many years of treatment for gastrointestinal issues. A HIDA scan 4 years prior showed a borderline function of my gallbladder but no stones. A second HIDA scan this October showed my gallbladder was barely functioning although no stones were visible. I met with Dr. Berler and his excellent team to set up an appointment for removal of my gallbladder with the hope that it would relieve some of my symptoms. Dr. Berler was very clear that removal of my gallbladder was not a guarantee that all my symptoms would go away because of my unusual symptoms , but we could eliminate that issue. I felt very comfortable making that decision because every single issue was addressed and I felt very confident with his opinion. Dr. Berler has a compassionate and reassuring manner, he listens and makes sure he understands what the patient is saying. His staff is beyond helpful as well and made sure I felt comfortable and understood everything that was discussed. About two weeks ago my surgery was completed and I saw him again yesterday for a follow up . Once again he reassured me that my healing was progressing as expected and I updated him on my wellbeing and positive changes I’ve noticed. The day of surgery was made less stressful because the entire staff was beyond professional, they were supportive and kind and we even laughed. The nurse who stayed with me till I was discharged ( wish I could remember her name) was excellent and we even hugged as I left the room. Anesthesia interferes with memory and details , but what remains is a feeling of having been taken care of with respect and kindness. My husband who is a retired physician and was by my side the entire time, was very impressed with the care I received . We are still trying to understand how the hospital has trained EVERY employee to be so informed and incredibly kind to the patients who come in stressed. At my follow up yesterday we were even escorted by a woman who saw we were trying to understand the instructions to the doctor’s office. From the reception area of the hospital to his office every single person is excellent at their jobs. Whatever training they are receiving is beyond professional and we highly recommend the hospital for the care and expertise we received. Dr. David Berler will be our family’s surgeon if we ever need one and St. Barnabas our preferred hospital.

She’s always there and ready to help me in any situation all the counselors one specifically Betsy, who’s been there for very long time she’s always at the middle window with a smile on her face to greet me or anybody in that case And the head nurse I forgot his name. He’s a great man too. Everybody, everybody in that clinic will always open their arms to help you trust me. I’ve been there for almost 8 years now and I wouldn’t wanna go anywhere else and thank God I’m starting to do good in life. It took a while, but nobody ever gave up on me especially Regina. She never gave up on me and now I’m finally I can say that I’m clean one day at a time I would like to thank everyone at Morris County after care for the smiles the warm welcomes and all the help that I’ve needed through my course in life. I’ve never have been in a clinic better than Morris County aftercare in Denville. They are aces in my book. Seriously the best clinic ever! I recently switched due to moving and it’s the biggest regret I’ve had yet in my 8 years of sobriety. I had no idea how lucky I was going to MCAC. They truly love you and treat you with respect. I’d give anything to go back here over where I’m at now. Complete 180. I went from the best clinic to the worst and regret it. If you don’t have to leave here, don’t do it. If you’re looking to get clean, go here! I promise. If you’re willing to do the work, this place WILL help! I have 8 years of sobriety thanks to them. The staff at MCAC is exceptional. From the intake process to the regular meetings with counselors, everyone is incredibly supportive and knowledgeable. The clinic’s counselors truly listen and work with patients to create individualized treatment plans. They are always available for guidance, and genuinely care about their patients progress. The nurses and medical staff ensure that dosing is properly managed, safely administered and adequate to sustain recovery. The medical staff is thorough and they check- in to monitor health and progress. The facility is state of the art, clean and inviting and leadership is invested in ensuring that all patients receive quality care in line with the mission.

I called for HR 3 times and the receptionist hung up on me 3 times- time to find a new receptionist!!!!!!!

I been a client since 2022 and I would like to leave a 5 review to my counselor Mr RahJohn Rouse . He has been my counselor for almost a year and what a great guy he is. Very easy to talk to and a guy who really cares about his clients recovery and would go the extra step to make you feel comfortable. I would also like to leave another 5 star review to the staff member who whe front window Mr Sadiq Rouses he is very pleasant person and a great guy to talk to he makes the morning very easy since he knows ever client by name he will never have to ask for your number he knows ever one by face and have you checked in and tell you what you need to do before you go to the window.. It's been a year later and MR Rouse is still the man if you come here try and request him if you can. He is a amazing counselor and person

I REALLY appreciate the kindness and compassion that literally greets you at the door... I've only been on the program for a couple of months and I haven't met any staff member or supportive staff member(i.e. nursing, admissions) that have not been respectful and helpful... Ms. Smith is so-oo down to earth and knowledgeable, she makes it easy to identify and address my issues...I'm so glad that I chose Lennard as the foundation for my recovery... I am feeling like I'm gonna be a success... So if, like myself, your issues got issues, come to Lennard, open up to one of their awesome counselors,(like Ms. Smith and/or Rajahn) find yourself, and reach for the stars🌠...

While attending a program at the Harlem Parish next door, my mother of 91 had an non-emergency, urgent situation. We entered the facility not knowing what to expect. We were greeted with upmost respect and kindness. From the security detail at the door to the 2 receptionists at the window, these wonderful people worked collectively to get us what we need to attend the program comfortably. I am so thankful for the kindness and compassion that was extended to us.

The clinic is very clean , secure, quiet,they have good team work. The Staff, and the Admistration are professional The Doctors ,The Nurses and the pca taken care good all the patients professionally I recommend everyone to visit the Sydenham clinic 264 west 118 street Harlem. The clinic is one of the best clinic in New york city.

Not sure what’s with the bad reviews here about but I’ve tried but the telephone & in-person and both are “functional.” This system is for ex-military & nothing says we are here to get VIP treatment as there are millions fellow comrades (Soldiers Creed) are using the same system. I’ve been to other countries abroad and this system is still far exceeds those other systems abroad. Thank you VA and all your staffs!

I was nervous at first, but the therapist created a calm environment that made opening up easy. Instead of feeling judged, I felt supported and uplifted. It changed how I see myself and my relationships.
