Hands-down, this place is amazing. The staff here down to the cleaning and cook. It's a place that will definitely help you recover. This place makes a person wanna get sober and stay sober. I mean I never seen a place where they show you the concern they do. Such polite and respectful staff. They actually really care about people and people getting clean. I promise you there is no rehabilitation center in New York State such as this. I recommend this place for any addiction to drugs., for you to recover. I love it here at present I'm here at Phoenix House and it's not that bad...I came here from ACI in Brooklyn NY and the program suits me fine They feed you very well and the staff has been nothing but respectful and courteous to me The groups are informative and the director is a very straightforward no nonsense person They let us run our own groups sometimes and even tell our life story... I've been here 10 days today and I couldn't think of a better place to go... That's if you want a nice quiet way to recover...you can have a phone and even go online and do virtual meetings (AA/NA) now don't get me wrong it's not a perfect program but, what is...My point is what you put in you get out and alternately it's your recovery...So yes it has it's fault however overall it works if you work it... IT'S NOT FOR THOSE WHO WANT IT NOR THOSE WHO NEED IT BUT FOR THOSE WHO DO IT 🙏🙏🙏 Amen...

As with any treatment facility, your recovery depends on the work you put into it. My experience at Phoenix House was extremely helpful for me and overall was a positive experience. It is very easy to get distracted and focus on the downsides of the facility however I was taught (there) about changing my perspective and that made it easy for me to have acceptance and continue focusing on myself. I have been to many treatment centers in the past and have never had a counselor that cared or helped me as much as Michael Robinson did. The facility director Dave S. is great at what he does and from what I witnessed handled any/all issues fairly and promptly. Dave also ran groups which I found to be extremely informative and helpful. Special thanks to the chef Arthur who was extremely accommodating to my unique diet. An even bigger thank you to RSS Rob who in my opinion helped me just as much as Mike and Dave did. I will forever be grateful for my time spent at Phoenix House.

Was a patient here and than at Ronkonkoma years ago. I can't speak for how it is today but if it weren't for them I wouldn't be where I am today. If you don't want help you aren't going to be open to it so you can't fault the facility. But than again it's been about 15years since I was there so I don't know if it's still ran the same. I owe alot to the staff who was there when I was there. Especially londi.

I like the facility and staff for the most part. Didn't like the amount of smoke breaks or at least how far apart they were. If you can check yourself out of the place I don't see why you're not trusted to smoke in their enclosed area. But the food was good. I have a dear friend who is an alcoholic. Usual type of history, multiple hospitalizations, and treatment centers. Years of sobriety, followed by another crash. Each deeper than the last. I had her join me and wait in the waiting area while I had my session. She met and chatted with other clients. She made an appointment. Long story short, their approach helped her in her recovery. That, and tough love on my part. She's been sober for a great number of years. She was able to face her demons and come to terms with reality. And is in a caring long term committed relationship. That's what sound can do for those who are truly ready and put in the really hard work.

I don’t know how to express my gratitude to this outstanding organization. The staff is superb! Robyn helped me through a tragedy more than fifteen years ago. She is dedicated, intuitive compassionate and kind. Robyn also ensured that my sons and husband were provided with the services they needed. The healing process is a long journey and takes a long time. Robyn was with me every step of way. Even now when I hit a bump in the road I can still reach out to her.
