Going to Mountainside in Huntington was a life changing experience. I could not recommend it more!

As a clinical social worker running a local group practice, I regularly collaborate and refer clients to Mountainside Treatment Center. Their staff has always been exceptional, especially Courtney Hulse and Dan Sexton, who go above and beyond in tailoring their treatment plans for each client and family. Mountainside serves as a tremendous resource, providing quality substance abuse treatment that is critically needed here on Long Island. My experience with Mountainside has been nothing but positive. Jessica Leone has been key in my recovery. She consistently has a positive attitude, provides great insights and experiences. Mountainside Ramsey has proven to be a fantastic step down treatment options for clients leaving our care. The outreach and admissions department are so easily to work with each and every time. Clients have also spoken so highly of the quality of the groups, keeping them engaged the entire treatment process.

Mountainside Treatment Center is a great place for recovery I highly recommend it wonderful staff and the place is very clean and neat. I love Amy she is on the counselors there she is super sweet and she can teach and help you grow as a new person in recovery she has helped me so much. I highly recommend her as a counselor!

I've been a client at Carnegie Hill Institute for quite a number of years. I had been in treatment for years, and I can sincerely state that the treatment plans offered by the staff are the most effective that I have encountered so far.

The emergency department here took very good care of my wife and considered her needs and comfort during her stay. On a side note, whoever is in charge of culinary services has a better grasp on salinity than most restaurant chefs. Nice work on the shepherds pie and ratatouille over quinoa. I would have rather eaten both of those things again over some recent meals I’ve had out.

She’s the kind of person who always has time for you, always points you in the right direction, and somehow knows exactly what to say when you need it most. Enter Erin — the Obi-Wan Kenobi of Seafield. She’s a veteran, a guide, and a master of calm wisdom. She’s been holding it down for years, and it shows. Between her and Debbie, you’ve got the dream team. And then there’s Dan — the Shaolin monk of Seafield. No robe, but all the zen. If you’re lost, stressed, confused, or just need something done, Dan is the man. Reliable, kind, and solid as a rock. If you let this place work for you — and you put in the effort — you’ll walk out with more than you came in with. I know I did.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Seafield. It basically saved my life and has guided me to a much healthier and happier way of living. I have 1 year sober, and I give much credit to this facility for getting me so where I am today. From the West Hampton rehabilitation center, to the women’s sober house, to the outpatient counseling and meetings, it has been nothing short of wonderful and life changing. I have acquired so much from the amazing counseling and people that work here, the way you feel accepted and understood is profound. If you’re looking for help in addiction and turning your life around, you’ve found the right place!

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Christopher Inzerillo (Orthopedic Surgeon) and Dr. Sufian Sorathia (Gastroenterologist) for their exceptional care and dedication. I underwent shoulder surgery with Dr. Inzerillo, and the experience exceeded my expectations. I had no pain whatsoever, not on the day of the surgery nor in the following days. My range of motion, strength, and functionality returning within the weeks that followed, thanks also to the outstanding occupational therapy team he recommended. Dr. Sorathia provided care of the highest professional and human quality. He was thorough, attentive, and ensured that every necessary test was done to rule out any issues, addressing every detail of my health concerns. I couldn't thank him more for the exceptional treatment. His team was equally compassionate and efficient, offering a level of care I had never experienced before. Thanks to both of these remarkable physicians and their teams, I truly have my life back. I cannot thank them enough for their expertise, kindness, and commitment to their patients. Thank you so much.

I've had multiple services done at New Bridge (ultrasounds, bloodwork, and CT scan) and had a great experience with them. The staff were friendly and the services were completed quickly and accurately. They sent the results to my other doctors as needed both within the New Bridge system and out (my a long time cardiologist in NYC). I also know that they provide a ton of community services to the local Bergen county area and beyond, and though I haven't personally needed it, their ER frequently has very quick waiting times compared to other hospitals I have experienced. Additionally, my primary care provider, Mellie Belvis, is part of New Bridge as well, and she is outstanding in terms of care, attentiveness, and skill. Highly recommended for healthcare services!

I'm truly astonished at the ungrateful and entitled people who are leaving these bad reviews. They expect Club Med, for FREE no less, as someone holds their hand for 24 hours a day and sings them to sleep. Unbelievable. I arrived at Bergen New Bridge as many others have, sick, terrified and defeated. I had been absolutely abandoned by my pain management doctor of 15 years when my regular monthly Methadone prescriptions suddenly become impossible to fill as I had been doing for a decade and a half. New DEA rules or some such nonsense.......I won't get into specifics as to how badly my dr screwed me and how he just didn't care that I was about to enter hell, but he did and I was completely out of options. After finding nothing on the internet that wasn't 30 to 50 thousand dollars, I found New Bridge. I couldn't believe that they took me right in with no insurance or money. They got me through five really hard days......coming off of 80 MG of methadone a day for 15 plus years was no joke......but the doctors gave me meds that made it entirely bearable, I was actually amazed that I didn't get a lot sicker. The staff are all caring and attentive. Sure, its old but its clean. A bed and a TV and 3 meals a day (food was OK, sure could have been a lot worse) what more do you want for free for god's sake? I would recommend this place to anyone needing help with nowhere else to turn. Dr Accurso deserves a special shout out, he is amazing.

I recently delivered my third child at Phelps and it was the absolute best birthing experience I’ve ever had. Comparing it to White Plains Hospital, Greenwich Hospital and my sisters recent experience at Lawrence in Bronxville, Phelps Hospital leaves them in the dust. The delivery room was amazing, I loved the birthing tub. I had the most wonderful and kind doctor and nurses the whole stay. One of my favorite parts about Phelps though is their food. Other hospitals feel like hospital food, Phelps is gourmet, it feels like a hotel. I also had my thyroid surgery at Phelps so I recommend Phelps for pregnant moms and those needing other surgeries.

Everyone from ER to care units is very kind and attentive. Special kudos to Alyda from ER for being super sweet and kind to my wife and me! 🙌

Leaving a review for a hospital is not something I would ordinarily think of doing, but in this case I will make an exception. My 90 year old mother in law suffered a fall and we brought her to Phelps from the Bronx because we did not want to wait 10 hours in an emergency room. She received exceptional care from the Doctors and staff and she will be going home confident she will make a full recovery. Every staff member from the Orthopedic Surgeon down to the security staff were compassionate, professional, courteous and friendly. I have never had such a good experience with a hospital as I have with Phelps.

Christina is truly exceptional! She listens with genuine empathy and always makes you feel understood. Her attentiveness stands out, and even though it’s never expected, she consistently goes above and beyond to be available whenever support is needed. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking compassionate and reliable guidance.

Mountainside has been one of the best treatment facilities that I have ever worked with. Recently, I had a family member complete inpatient and IOP and I was amazed at how well the team works with their clients. From the initial intake process to referral services, I would have been lost without them!

I would like to share some thoughts about Mountainside and especially our sons recovery coach Christina. Following his completion of a 28 day in-patient program with another provider he enrolled at Mountainside Chappaqua. He is in their Outside Patient and Recovery Coaching programs. Our son and Christina have been working together for about five months. They talk daily and meet weekly. A few weeks into the program Christina began doing weekly calls with my wife and me. Our son works with various therapists, clinicians and other staff at Mountainside. He is complimentary of the entire organization and their contribution in helping him understand his addiction and providing recovery support. My wife and I only work with Christina. Christina is EXCELLENT. She balances professional counseling, insight, accountability, great communication skills and timely follow-up. Having walked this life herself she is highly skilled and relatable but it’s never about her. Christina cares. She has built valued trust with all of is. My wife’s and my weekly calls provide an update on his progress and any open issues. She reminds us that he is accountable for his own recovery and keeps us in our lane. Most important she has helped keep our sons recovery moving positively forward day after day.

The subacute section has beautiful grounds. The building is clean and has no unpleasant odor. The staff is friendly and attentive. If you have to be in a facility, this is the place to be.

I am familiar with Christian Health Care since my Mother was there 7 years ago. Seems like the care is just as good now as then. Impressive!
