I spent a month at their PHP program. I can’t express enough how grateful I am for literally all of the staff at the hospital. The intake team worked so fast and made me already feel like I was in good hands. The therapists were incredible, that is saying more than you could know coming from me. Each one had their own style and strengths and collectively produced a therapy experience that no individual therapist could possible provide; they had an entourage effect of sorts. We only knew the “interns” were interns because they told us. The psychiatric team was compassionate, extremely advanced (objectively), I have very strong opinions about psychiatry and honestly all three psychiatrists were a standard well above what I could have expected. The kitchen staff was kind and the food was good for cafeteria food. The hospital helped find transportation for me and could not have been more supportive and accommodating. I’m getting emotional writing this because I didn’t really believe such a place existed, and to know that there actually is good quality help, for someone whose been seeking it for a long time, challenged my jaded perspectives in a very positive way. I see the negative reviews and it makes sense that people; patients and supportive family, going through a difficult time might find frustration as healing is in no way linear; but I can say with confidence that you and your loved ones are taking a really good shot with Saint Vincents

I was skeptical at first because of the public reviews but I was so happy with the service a very close family member received here. Staff is so attentive, so easy to reach with questions and concerns and the social worker (Justin) was always available when I needed him and incredibly helpful. The food is really good, the staff was very kind, the meds that were prescribed are making an obvious difference in my family members life. I would recommend this hospital to anyone seeking mental help.

My daughter has autism as severe as it gets! She stayed at this hospital over a month and the staff there worked so hard to get her at her baseline. I forgot to mention she is 31 years old which makes the task even harder, her being set in her own ways. I brought her home until she will eventually go to a group home. We had the best night that I have had in years with my daughter and I . I’m so grateful to the st. Vincent staff for what they done. Staff really took care of my child! I’m so very grateful. She was always showered and taken cared of and that really impressed me cause she is incontinent and isn’t able to take care of herself. ❤️ grateful parent

This hospital's greatest strength is its comforting, chapel-like atmosphere. Beyond the medical team, the genuine consideration shown by the staff truly stands out. This high level of service made me feel more like a guest at a luxury hotel than a patient. The most memorable moment of kindness came from an employee taking out the trash, who greeted me with an incredibly warm and gentle smile.
However, I was disappointed to see people smoking in the outdoor areas, such as while waiting for valet or walking to the parking lot, with no one intervening.

Evas is a decent place that genuinely cares about there clients. I'd honestly say it's the best state funded halfway house in NJ. I've been here 6 months with no real complaints. The food could be a little better but at the end of the day it's a good place. Obviously this place is state funded and the majority of clients are on drug court or parole so there is no jacuzzi, pool and horses but like I said it’s not a bad place

I feel I’ve learned so much about myself and now have a good awareness of why I’ve felt the way I have my whole life, so irritable and disconnected from the world. Turning point as well as life in general is what you make of it, I’ve been fighting with drug addiction for 20yrs and could never understand why no matter how successful I would get on the outside I would always turn back to drugs in the end. I finally came to understand that for me it had to be addressed on the inside, I had to open up about everything I’ve ever been through whether I thought it was relevant or not to my addiction. I have been to an inpatient facility where this was not the case, and have nothing but positive things to say about the counseling center. Straight & Narrow is not perfect, but neither is anyone. They have they're flaws and imperfections just like I do. If the place was absolutely perfect people would find something to complain about. It's just how it goes. I had a warm bed, hot food, and although the groups were limited, it was my choice to attend more than I was scheduled to go to. So that's what I did. People complained about group time and then complained about down time because they were bored.. I guess it's a journey that is decided individually. I opted to go to every group everyday and every opportunity I had I would volunteer for things to do to help. I was rarely bored and always looked forward to the weekdays rather than weekends because I liked the groups. They didn't keep me longer than originally discussed when I arrived as others were saying. But then again, maybe others didn't participate to their potential or maybe others didn't take the initiative to show their counselors what their intentions were. Some people want to get better and some people are court ordered to be there. The. Some, like me, were court ordered but wanted to get better. I completed a relapse prevention plan to present to my counselor and constantly asked her for more work books to better myself so she knew my intention was authentic. I guess I just felt that it was important for me to clarify my experience there because nobody pointed out anything positive, here's something. THE PLACE GAVE YOU ANOTHER CHANCE AT LIFE, IF YOU DONT TAKE IT AND IMMERSE YOURSELF INTO YOUR RECOVERY, YOUR DOOMED TO REPEAT HISTORY. The only shot we have is inside of us, the four walls doesn't mean a whole lot. it's your personal motivation.. Ask yourself what you want more and why. Thank you straight & narrow for the opportunity to take advantage of your program and I couldn't be more pleased with the majority of the staff. My counselor, Emily, was a super helpful person and important role in my early recovery. She challenged my answers, which I respect, and she also made me be accountable for my own recovery. She Cares, that's ultimately how I feel about her and I can't thank her enough. I would recommend this facility to anyone who wants recovery and isn't worried more about the color of the paint or what mattress they have, that person probably doesn't want recovery to begin with....

I was there forget what year, the place was ok to me, I went there with nothing left 90 days later with 2 big bags of new clothes, cosmetics, ID, etc. Mr. B was the best! If you go there don't sweat the small shit way better then being in the streets.

Greetings to all. My name is Kervin Dejesus and I am living proof that Cornerstone Medical Arts Center changed my life for the best. I have been abstinent from all drugs for 2 years.
I came to Cornerstone Medical Arts Center after hitting rock bottom in my active addiction with one thing in mind and that was to get clean and take charge of my life.

You know, seeing a 4.4 star rating on anything to do with addiction, is a flat out miracle. Addicts are some of the whiniest, hardest people to please. So the rating itself should be a testament. I’ve been in this program for a few years now, even commuting from white plains. That’s how much I love it.
