Mountainside has been amazing in support of our son as well as us as parents throughout this challenging and painful journey of addiction!! In particular, The Sober Coach, Morris, that is working directly w our son and in tandem with us is absolutely amazing in so so many ways. He has and continues to go up and above each and every day!! My son has been working with Morris, a Recovery Coach at Mountainside for the past eight months and the experience has been exceptional for us both! Morris truly understands how to support recovery in a real world, day to day way. The coaching goes further than check-ins. It includes accountability, life skills, emotional support, and sometimes honest hard conversations. My son has learned how to manage challenges, make healthier choices and is learning how to stay focused on his long-term goals. The progress he’s made has been remarkable and I credit much of that to the consistent well informed coaching he receives. Not only does Morris provide coaching to my son, his expertise extends to me as well. He is highly responsive and always follows through. Mountainside’s Recovery coaching is more than a service. It feels like it’s a true partnership. As a mom navigating this process, I am grateful for the guidance, structure, the encouragement and situational advice Morris provides. I would recommend their coaching without hesitation to any family who’s looking for meaningful sustained support around sobriety. This has made a significant difference for my family. Early recovery, albeit exciting, can be fragile, and I cannot imagine having gone through this experience without the coaching Morris provides.

My daughter’s recovery coach Jeanine Ierardi, was amazing!!! She was the best that Mountainside could offer as a recovery coach. She went far and beyond helping and supporting us through the most difficult time in our lives. She saved our daughter’s life!!! Excellent therapists who seem to really care. From time of intake until you are actually assigned a therapist was quite fast. The therapists are compassionate and experienced.

I've been a client at Carnegie Hill Institute for quite a number of years. I had been in treatment for years, and I can sincerely state that the treatment plans offered by the staff are the most effective that I have encountered so far.

What time is the last call patients are able to make?

In my humble opinion, this is the best place you can go for help. Whether detox or rehab. The staff is wonderful and kind, the accommodations are good, and the food is great! This is the best place you can go, when you need help. They REALLY! REALLY! REALLY! help. May God bless everyone who needs help, this is the best place to go!

I truly hope you achieve everything you’re working toward. You would make an incredible counselor. The way you treated us with respect, compassion, and genuine care says so much about your work ethic and your character. Ash and Mike S - thank you for your patience and for always treating us with love, kindness, and respect. You made us feel like human beings, and that means more than you know. Stephan, Johnny, Gary, and Antwo—thank you for everything. The list of people I appreciate could honestly go on. Joe—you’re the man! Thank you for helping me even when you didn’t have to. And to my counselor, James—I’m truly grateful that our paths crossed. Thank you for your guidance and support. To anyone considering coming here: if you’re serious about getting help, staying focused on your goals, and working on your sobriety, you can absolutely succeed here. One thing I learned is that treating others with respect goes a long way. This isn’t a resort, so don’t expect a different meal every day or luxury accommodations. Like any program, there are some downsides, but for me, there were far more positives than negatives. I left with valuable lessons, support, and hope. At the end of the day, recovery starts with you and with the mindset you choose to have. Thank you to everyone who helped me during my stay. I truly appreciate everything you did, and I wish you all nothing but the best.

An amazing group of individuals helping those of us who not only want or need help, but are there helping us work through not only our addictions but emotions. 10 out of 10 Would recommend if you’re in need… pretty much anything that will make you feel better about yourself by helping you… understand yourself. And it’s nice to sit in a group of peers judgement free. There is nothing but love pouring out of this place. And as a side note after reading lower rated posts. I have no insurance and they have done absolutely nothing more than help me and be there for me. Please if you feel you need some help, give them a call. It’s worth it.

I never thought I could be away from my family for 30 days, but Ascendant became a place where I felt safe, loved, and truly cared for. The BRILLIANT instructors gave me tools and lessons that I’ll carry with me for the rest of my journey. I came in not wanting to stay for 30 days, and I left not wanting to say goodbye. I visited Holy Name Hospital on September 21, 2026, for a Coronary CT Angiography (CCTA). Overall, I had a very positive experience and was impressed by the hospital’s excellent service, cleanliness, and professionalism.I checked in at approximately 10:10 a.m., and Pat, who registered me, was very kind, welcoming, and helpful. She made the registration process comfortable and easy.During my visit, I underwent a Coronary CT Angiography (CCTA), which uses computed tomography to take detailed images of the heart and coronary arteries. During the examination, Lorna, the CT scan technician, administered medication to help slow my heart rate so the images could be taken properly. Lorna was very professional, knowledgeable, and caring. She did an excellent job explaining and handling the procedure. She is originally from the Philippines.The X-ray technician was also very nice, professional, and helpful.The hospital floors and facilities were very clean, and the staff provided excellent service throughout my visit. The only concern was that it took some time to get my appointment. Hopefully, in the future, appointments can be scheduled a little earlier.Overall, I am very happy with my experience at Holy Name Hospital and truly appreciate the kindness, professionalism, and excellent care provided by the staff.

Just had a surgical procedure in the Same Day Center, and I am so impressed. I guess when you are competing against giants like Valley and Hackensack you have to be better! Their center ran like clockwork, no waiting endlessly for Registration, CNA, RN, MDs, PT…even transport came in a couple of minutes. Clear directions, every staff member is happy and welcoming and knowledgeable.
