This place is the most effective and helpful recovery place I ve ever had the pleasure of attending. The dedication of staff to get to know their clients rather than just gaining as many as they can and not really knowing anything about them is very meaningful. I would recommend this facility for anyone dealing with drug/alcohol issues and they are dual diagnosis well equipped for mental illness. This is the best recovery tool I ve ever had access to and I m so thankful.

My son was inpatient at never alone for 45 days. In that time he went not only through recovery but mental health help as well. He is home and thriving. Throughout his time there he participated in individual and group therapies. His favorite part in his own words “Kim’s food is amazing”. When he came home we sought out his psychiatrist to get him back on track. They couldn’t get us in for a month and were not willing to refill his medications. I spoke with Mackenzie and her and nursing staff were able to make sure he got refills so he was not left without vital medications. I would recommend Never Alone to anyone who just doesn’t know what else to do with a child who is struggling.

My 16 year old daughter was at Never Alone for over a month and did great! The entire staff from program director to chef were wonderful and made my daughter's stay as comfortable as it could be, based on the circumstances. This was not our first stop on her journey, however this was her first rehab for drug/substance use. When asked if it was beneficial, she has not hesitated to say YES. She said that she felt she left with better tools and confidence to work her recovery.

Just a review from a loved one who is thankful for the care given. I don’t know much other than Lori is sent from a higher power to work on and coordinate rehabilitative services. We hope the tools and resources will spark the journey in lasting recovery and are so thankful for everything. Compassion is such a hard thing to convey, but it reverberates through the process from the very beginning of intake all the way to the heart of the journey. Back in 2009 I had a real bad addiction to Prescription pain pills an a big addiction to Benzos (xanax & klonoppins) . My addiction was so bad I should be dead but of course I'm not only because of Cornerstone in Rhinebeck Ny..They are awesome there an the food is excellent...Long story short I am still clean today an the month of May 2025 will be 16 years..THANK YOU CORNERSTONE REHAB......

I was treated with kindness and respect by all the staff, and the doctor was extremely thorough with a wonderful caring bedside manner. The nurses were cool and funny and told good stories. In July, 2021 I came unto the end of myself in my addiction. I had lost my children, my home, my dignity, and the respect of pretty much any one who knew me, including myself. I was broken, tired and ashamed but I hadn't lost all hope.I heard about the Hoving Home in Garrison, New York from a very unexpected source (my dealer). At the time I wasn't looking for God, I was just looking for ways to continue to numb my pain. But when this person told me about the Hoving Home, something in me stirred.I remember looking the Hoving Home up online and feeling very drawn to this place. I saw that it was a Christ centered and faith based program focused on helping women rebuild lives that had been shattered by addiction. I just knew that I had to get to this place!!!Now mind you, Im in SC with not a dollar to my name but when I took a step of faith to get to this place, God made a way...When I got to the Hoving Home I was embraced by a loving community of a bunch of broken people just like me. I instantly felt welcomed and loved. I thought I was just coming here to get sober but I got so much more! I encountered the love of Jesus at this place like I never had before. I was completely wrecked by His love! I found a freedom, peace, and joy like I had never known. I also received much needed healing from years of pain and trauma...Upon leaving the Hoving Home I went to a half-way house and saved money to go to Bible college in Minnesota where I met and married my amazing husband Matt. From there we moved back to my home town in SC to begin the process of restoration with my children. I'm coming up on 3 years of freedom from the chains of addiction in July, 2024. And I'm still passionately burning for JESUS!None of this would have been possible without the healing and loving environment provided at the Hoving Home! When i was there in 2018 it was very strict which most people cant complete theu get kicked out or relapse. The then director Andrea was a tough woman to trick or get one over on. Counselors come and go thst normal. Brian the house manager was also amazing and there for a long time. I heard its not the same its easy to get over on staff which isnt good for the people trying to get better. Id love to know to who the new director is. Also the house is amazing compared to like renwick house in newburgh.

I love everything about Gateway HV! Gateway has been there for my brother (and therefore my family) for nearly 15 years. My brother has been helped with job coaching on the job, internshipsand computer courses. We were thinking of signing up with the job help, Health Home care case management and PROS (he could get psychiatry through that program. My daughter has received services from Astor for the last 2-3 years. I have nothing but good things to say about the receptionists, staff, therapists, nurses and NPs. They have been a blessing to us! When my daughter does not have an appointment one week due to a holiday or whatever, someone will call to check on us. I really appreciate that. It is tough having interns as my daughter's therapists but they need to train somewhere. If your child has extreme difficulty with change then ask for someone that is consistent.
