I'm actually still a patient in the hospital right now. Only problem I have is the food is to bland. So nasty. They definitely need a better cook. But the staff is amazing. Kerri Ann, kat, and the entire 4th floor ICU and the entire 5th floor staff is amazing. They definitely goes above and beyond for the patients. The doctor's are amazing. Wonderful nurse staff. They talk with patients and explain everything in details. Attitudes are amazing. Definitely no complaints. Housekeeping is amazing. Transport is amazing. Basically the entire hospital staff is amazing. All I'm saying is thank you for everything

My experience was good but not the best I i was in the 28 day program i was bullied by almost all the girls I was in there with except for my roommate she was very kind and compassionet my case manager acted like I was bothering her when I knocked on her office door and she would just close it in my face or just ignore me and pretend she didn't hear me they took most of my art stuff and locked it up even when I expressed that my artwork is a huge part of my recovery but then allowed the other girls to have all of their art stuff the day I got there they told me I wasn't allowed to come back and ordered me an Uber in a city I didn't know at all when I was at the hospital they allowed all the other clients to go through my belongings and take what they wanted so when I got back on the unit I had nothing to take a shower with when I told the staff that my toiletries were missing they made the girls give it back to me half empty when I expressed to the director that the girls who stole my shampoo and body wash were bullying me she denied it and told me that they weren't I lost count how many nights I cried myself to sleep because of the bullying and thought about self harm on a daily basis to relieve the stress from the other girls I do have to say some of the staff are kind and compassionate my roommate was afraid to speak up to the bullies when they started to bully her too and when I graduated the program they almost didn't give me my art stuff back but I made sure that they went out and got it from the storage unit before I left and they never gave me the vivitrol shot before I got discharged like they told me they would do my PTSD is far worse than it was from all the bullies I had to be surrounded by while being there for the 28 days I'm just glad that I don't Have to see any of those girls again who bullied me I am now 7 months clean and sober and am in sober living with my fiance in my hometown thank you to some of the staff members who were kind and understanding and compassionate and took the time to do artwork with me and just talk to me when I was having a hard time I will never forget you and to the staff who treated me like my feelings didn't matter and like i was a prisoner hope u all learn to be more understanding and compassionate towards every client especially the ones being picked on and bullied going into rehab is very hard to do and us addicts and alcoholics should have a more calm and peaceful environment to come into especially when we're coming off of drugs and alcohol

This clinic isn't perfect by any means, but it is better than any other one I've ever been on. They give you the "cherry" syrup methadone instead of the b.s. water kind, they don't force you to do i.o.p. or groups or anything like that. And the line is usually not too bad all things considered. I'd recommend it to anyone that wants the help. Also, they offer a lot of help with other aspects of your life including employment and mental health services, as well as helping you with getting your foodstamps or medicaid turned on if you need that. Haven't met any staff member there that hasn't gone above and beyond for me to help with every issue that has come up.
UPDATE: so I've been on and off this program like 4 or 5 times. On it now. And of course since the last time I was there which was about 2 years ago there is only one or two of the same staff there. Big turnover rate. But seems like alot of less people on the program or maybe more people getting take home bottles because there is never a line when I go. And they don't allow anyone to "hangout" for like 4 blocks in any direction to prevent the b.s. that goes on outside every clinic in America. I gotta say it's still the best spot I've been to and I've been on at least 5 different ones in ny and nj

I've been to several methadone clinics and Greenwich House is by far the best. Staff is very friendly, accommodating, and professional. If you're looking for a methadone clinic go here, dont waste your time anywhere else. I was medicated on the first day. They dont force you to go to groups. The counselors are very helpful and they have on site medical and mental health services.
Update!
Today, 7/17/23, was my last day at Greenwich House. A few months ago I had been on 210 mg of methadone for about 4 years and decided it was time to get off. So I began to taper down relatively fast dropping 10 mg per week. When I got to 20 mg I slowed down to 5 mg decreases per week. Anyway, when I got down to 5 mg I decided to go down to 2 mg and that was today. I got my weeks worth of 2 mg bottles and when they're gone I'll be totally off methadone. I did this with no withdrawal symptoms or cravings. And I have not touched dope since I began the program on 4/27/19. I'm so proud of myself and this is a total success story. There is such a stigma about methadone. People say it's like "liquid handcuffs" or that it controls your life and it's impossible to get off and it's just replacing one drug with another, but I'm proof that none of that is true. Methadone saved my life and when I felt I didn't need it anymore I got off, simple as that. I would like to thank my counselor Sophia and Marlene from the medical department for both always being so supportive and accommodating. They genuinely care about all of their patients and deserve mentioning although all the staff is very caring, helpful and professional. I cannot recommend this place enough if you are struggling with addiction. They WILL help you.

Hi everybody! I am a current resident at Samaritan village's inpatient and methadone facility and I think they have a wonderful program! I have been to many programs and this is by far the best. In their residential program, you have access you methadone maintainence although it is not required, you receive your psychiatric medications and have an on premises psychiatrist and primary care Dr although you may see your own. I see theirs and they are wonderful. They do not chastise you if your on a controlled psychiatric medications, it is considered and often allowed if you have a diagnosed. They offer both methadone and Suboxone and the clinic in the Richmond Hill facility has their methadone clinic right downstairs so you can dose upon waking up. The staff is caring and professional, and the community is caring as well. Well that's about all I have to say! Integrity House was very challenging and very rewarding. I was forced to face a lot of childish behavior I had been holding on to and actually work to change it. My sense of intitalment, my selfishness and to many more to list honestly. The staff there is great, always professional and compassionate. I'd really like to give a special shout out to my counselor Andres Ortega. He helped me replace so many bad traits through the application of spiritual principles. My gratitude, patience, forgiveness and understanding are at levels I never thought they could be and Andres was a huge part of that transformation. I've accepted that life isn't all roses, and that's ok. It's helped me focus on what's good and be in control of my feelings. Andres really challenged me to take a look at the role I played and play in my family and my relationship with my daughter and mother has been so much better as a result. I worked @Intergrity House (Bate Program) for 10 years and moved on to work in different programs throughout the years, I have to say this was one of the best places I worked in, they are there for their clients, understanding, their files are kept tight and bonus were the best. So, I will always be grateful to this program. Also the best, best thing i got from here is that I met my wonderful hubby there which he recently passed. I pass by 2x a week just to remember my experience there. The rose garden was one of my favorite places which was name after one of the most caring counselors from the end of the 80’s,

Grateful for the opportunity to go to Integrity house Newark. The staff were great my time there and they actually take clients to the dentist and doctor. We had events going to movies and the beach and always did something for a holiday. They allow visits and your family can bring you things you need. Again appreciative for the chance to work on myself in Integrity.

Wow where do i start !!! Hopes were a horrible place to come for help at the time I stayed there.this was a makeshift Subpar "detox" spot,,, that's right a spot not a facility by any stretch of the imagination. No doctor or nurse on board to dispense meds ,to get our meds we actually had to group walk to a CVS like place.there were absolutely no food provided at this spot you literally had to bring your own food or starve and you'll have pray no one steals your food like it happened to me, thank god Randy the house guy scavenge through a pantry and found an old donated can of red beans for me to eat which had me farting for three days straight.ok our sleeping quarters was a little house somewhere near Kane Street in Dundalk.where drug dealers would meet some of our residents at the back door to make the transactions.we would be wakened like the Crack of dawn to all board a creepy 15 seat passenger van to head to our daycare somewhere across town where we would stay until evening every day guys. imagine being sick as a dog and having to sit up all day in chairs (no beds)from dawn to near dusk pretty torturous, mind you with no food drink unless you brought it there with you..once we are driven back to the sleeping spot in the evenings then we had to group walk to the NA meeting on Youngstown Ave (church) off Dundalk ave-yes walk I said lol.you would think this kind of shoe string services would be cheap right. I had private insurance ( Pfizer ) which were being paid through my benefits package from my employer. I was floored when they showed me what they paid Hope's Horizon. If Pfizer only paid a small fraction of that bill it still would've been too much!!! for what I received. Randy the house guy was cool he did give away a lot of his cigarettes all day for free :)

Wow, what can I say?They have my mom and her treatment has been top notch all the staff I have come in contact with have been phenomenal nurses.Doctors, other staff that works throughout the building super friendly and I have had a great experience.And currently am having a great experience with this hospital.My mom is currently there and I am blown away by the courteousness and care of the team. It is impressive how fast and well coordinated. The centers are she was moved from Franklin Square to manhassee, transferred and taken to the appropriate departments for her issues and unbelievable. Just unbelievable, still don't know what's going to be. My final outcome for my mother, but I'm very confident. It's gonna go well. Thank you. DYC is truly an amazing place.
Our son has thrived here, and has grown and learned a great deal. The staff is very dedicated, and there is even a weekly parents group.
Our son is given responsibilities, and there are expectations and discipline. He loves his position as part of the landscaping crew, and there is a joyful anticipation to transfer to the next phase in Brooklyn.
He has been there for 13 months, and we both agree that it has changed our lives.
