This hospital's greatest strength is its comforting, chapel-like atmosphere. Beyond the medical team, the genuine consideration shown by the staff truly stands out. This high level of service made me feel more like a guest at a luxury hotel than a patient. The most memorable moment of kindness came from an employee taking out the trash, who greeted me with an incredibly warm and gentle smile.
However, I was disappointed to see people smoking in the outdoor areas, such as while waiting for valet or walking to the parking lot, with no one intervening.

Evas is a decent place that genuinely cares about there clients. I'd honestly say it's the best state funded halfway house in NJ. I've been here 6 months with no real complaints. The food could be a little better but at the end of the day it's a good place. Obviously this place is state funded and the majority of clients are on drug court or parole so there is no jacuzzi, pool and horses but like I said it’s not a bad place

I was so lost and giving up on life and a few good suggestions brought me here. Everyone from the friar in charge of the inn to security and maintenance made me feel welcome. The counselors are the best I’ve ever dealt with. My counselor was amazing, the physco therapist helped me realize things on my own and a former resident who is now staff related to my issues making me comfortable with the process. That guy was a godsend. These people helped me with my addiction issues more in 6 months then I’ve been able to do over the last 30 years. I now have hope and a blueprint that I follow to live a life in recovery. I could never thank them enough

This place completely saved my life, it taught me a new way to live and that I am a man, worthy of love and respect. Since there, in 2017, I had one slip up about a year after I graduated, but that was almost 8 years ago now. Since then, I went to welding school, they set me up in a halfway house in NYC, moved back home to Rochester, NY. I have worked in the welding industry and slowly worked my way to where now I run a million dollar welding training program and I try pass along the same message I learned there. The counseling center staff are truly dedicated at providing excellent rehabilitation services. I have been to an inpatient facility where this was not the case, and have nothing but positive things to say about the counseling center. Dair, Tim, Kristen and Kristine helped me build strong mental habits and skills for managing the emotional stress that led to my use. Wish there was a rating higher than 5 stars

When you find someone like Richelle who is not just passionate about her job but truly cares for the people and community - that kind of dedication to the cause helps me to feel not so alone. pretty lame facility that as most facilities do, doesnt have a psychiatrist who is honest and will discharge patients who have no signs of mental illness.. honestly i didnt even remember seeing any doctors. the staff isnt rude but if youre there to get psychistric services maybe the doctor could see you more than 0 times a day. also their trash cans are identical to their laundry bins... which is just stupid. anyways they dont monitor for side effects and just prescribe geodon which we all know was implicated in illegal promotional liabilities and had a settlement happen. i had an allergic reaction, my throat closed up, and i had to know on my own that i needed to take diphenhydramine to counteract the allergic reaction. then the people proceeded to lie to me about their qualifications and about my own feelings and their perceptions of my behavior. on the other hand, being here really gives you an appreciation for having normal cotton clothes rather than the poly cotton blend of disgusting washed used and contaminated clothes they force you to wear.

I came into this program broken, but all of the staff members all the BHT’s have helped me on this journey to succeed with their acquired knowledge from school to everything that they do. Literally dread going to the doctors office its a waste of time everytime. Tonight I was there for a physical, waited for over 45 minutes before the front desk girl came out to lock the door to shut the pace down. Never called me in, never go the physical. Needless to say place is a joke.
