From the very beginning I’ve had such an amazing experience. My counselor Sam is beyond exceptional and the kindest person I know. Choicepoint has been a really wonderful option for me after waiting to seek treatment for a long time. Since being in the program for 2 1/2 months, I can already see a lot of changes in myself that I didn't anticipate happening so quickly. The team is very knowledgeable and good at explaining medical terminology around addiction into easily understandable language that was easy for me to digest. The group sessions were particularly helpful as they provided an opportunity to share time with others who are going through the same experience, which is not something I have in my "real" life. I had Darien and Sam for group, and both are very kind and good at creating a safe and friendly atmosphere where people that start as strangers feel comfortable sharing private things about themselves. Darien took time out of his day to help advise me once on natural remedies for anxiety, and Sam has a great candor and humor which makes group a pleasant experience - something I never would have expected going into the program. Joanna, the nurse at Choicepoint, is very kind and takes time to explain to you different options for MAT without pushing you in one direction - she explains everything so well that you feel very confident in whichever option you choose. Gina, who I had as a counselor, also helped me process how I make decisions and the behavior behind my actions, which has helped me to understand myself better. It's been a great thing for me and I really recommend it to anyone.

Bergan New Bridge Medical Center offers drug rehab services to young adults and adults in Paramus, New Jersey. The center provides medication assisted treatment, inpatient treatment, partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient services, and aftercare programs. Specialized services are available for veterans and adolescents. Upon admissio | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Christopher Inzerillo (Orthopedic Surgeon) and Dr. Sufian Sorathia (Gastroenterologist) for their exceptional care and dedication.
I underwent shoulder surgery with Dr. Inzerillo, and the experience exceeded my expectations. I had no pain whatsoever, not on the day of the surgery nor in the following days. My range of motion, strength, and functionality returning within the weeks that followed, thanks also to the outstanding occupational therapy team he recommended.
Dr. Sorathia provided care of the highest professional and human quality. He was thorough, attentive, and ensured that every necessary test was done to rule out any issues, addressing every detail of my health concerns. I couldn't thank him more for the exceptional treatment. His team was equally compassionate and efficient, offering a level of care I had never experienced before.
Thanks to both of these remarkable physicians and their teams, I truly have my life back. I cannot thank them enough for their expertise, kindness, and commitment to their patients.
Thank you so much.

I've had multiple services done at New Bridge (ultrasounds, bloodwork, and CT scan) and had a great experience with them. The staff were friendly and the services were completed quickly and accurately. They sent the results to my other doctors as needed both within the New Bridge system and out (my a long time cardiologist in NYC). I also know that they provide a ton of community services to the local Bergen county area and beyond, and though I haven't personally needed it, their ER frequently has very quick waiting times compared to other hospitals I have experienced. Additionally, my primary care provider, Mellie Belvis, is part of New Bridge as well, and she is outstanding in terms of care, attentiveness, and skill. Highly recommended for healthcare services!

I'm truly astonished at the ungrateful and entitled people who are leaving these bad reviews.
They expect Club Med, for FREE no less, as someone holds their hand for 24 hours a day and sings them to sleep.
Unbelievable.
I arrived at Bergen New Bridge as many others have, sick, terrified and defeated. I had been absolutely abandoned by my pain management doctor of 15 years when my regular monthly Methadone prescriptions suddenly become impossible to fill as I had been doing for a decade and a half. New DEA rules or some such nonsense.......I won't get into specifics as to how badly my dr screwed me and how he just didn't care that I was about to enter hell, but he did and I was completely out of options.
After finding nothing on the internet that wasn't 30 to 50 thousand dollars, I found New Bridge. I couldn't believe that they took me right in with no insurance or money.
They got me through five really hard days......coming off of 80 MG of methadone a day for 15 plus years was no joke......but the doctors gave me meds that made it entirely bearable, I was actually amazed that I didn't get a lot sicker. The staff are all caring and attentive. Sure, its old but its clean. A bed and a TV and 3 meals a day (food was OK, sure could have been a lot worse) what more do you want for free for god's sake?
I would recommend this place to anyone needing help with nowhere else to turn.
Dr Accurso deserves a special shout out, he is amazing.

How is Phelps hospital giving Dr Armond Collins unit 1 south, to carry out his agenda. His workers here can certainly get all worked up and hostile at a patient's expense. I would like to share some thoughts about Mountainside and especially our sons recovery coach Christina.
Following his completion of a 28 day in-patient program with another provider he enrolled at Mountainside Chappaqua. He is in their Outside Patient and Recovery Coaching programs. Our son and Christina have been working together for about five months. They talk daily and meet weekly. A few weeks into the program Christina began doing weekly calls with my wife and me.
Our son works with various therapists, clinicians and other staff at Mountainside. He is complimentary of the entire organization and their contribution in helping him understand his addiction and providing recovery support. My wife and I only work with Christina.
Christina is EXCELLENT. She balances professional counseling, insight, accountability, great communication skills and timely follow-up. Having walked this life herself she is highly skilled and relatable but it’s never about her. Christina cares. She has built valued trust with all of is. My wife’s and my weekly calls provide an update on his progress and any open issues. She reminds us that he is accountable for his own recovery and keeps us in our lane. Most important she has helped keep our sons recovery moving positively forward day after day.

The best run VA facility in the United States. I've been patients of the VA all up and down the east coast as well as in the middle of the United States. Although it feels like the NYC Bronx VA has the oldest building, it is the best well run. The doctors there care about their patients more than any other VA. If any doctor touches your records or makes a decision then you have access to that doctor. Also if you need help for any reason and all appointments are booked then you can always walk in and be squeezed in. The James J. Peters VA cares about the vet and the care. Patients maintain their doctor in NYC and fly up from other parts of the country just to have an appointment. It's that good.

Every time I’ve come in, he’s been compassionate, patient, and genuinely kind. He has such a calming presence and always takes the time to explain what’s going on, which makes a stressful situation so much easier to handle. Having a chronic illness is a challenge and having a person like Scott made me feel so comfortable and calm and truly cared for. He not only made me feel safe and reassured but he went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met and I was so thankful. I have had Crohns since I was 9 and I've never had a more compassionate nurse. He is truly one of a kind.
On one visit, another nurse was having a hard time with my IV. I specifically asked for Scott, and as always, he got it on the first try and made me feel completely at ease. His technique is gentle and confident, and you can tell he truly cares about his patients.
Scott goes above and beyond whether it’s offering a reassuring word, making sure you’re comfortable, or just treating you like a person instead of a chart. Nurses like him make all the difference in the ER, and I’m so grateful for his care. Thank you Scott!!!!!

When you find someone like Richelle who is not just passionate about her job but truly cares for the people and community - that kind of dedication to the cause helps me to feel not so alone. Judgement has no place at Restorative and Richelle is a true reflection of that. I could tell her anything and she would only try and make it better for me or challenge me to think of how I can do better in the future. Even in the midst of her own personal struggles she shows up for her clients 100% each day. Thank you to Restorative Management and especially to Richelle for helping me get my life back - And the journey has just begun!

Straight & Narrow is not perfect, but neither is anyone. They have they're flaws and imperfections just like I do. If the place was absolutely perfect people would find something to complain about. It's just how it goes. I had a warm bed, hot food, and although the groups were limited, it was my choice to attend more than I was scheduled to go to. So that's what I did. People complained about group time and then complained about down time because they were bored.. I guess it's a journey that is decided individually. I opted to go to every group everyday and every opportunity I had I would volunteer for things to do to help. I was rarely bored and always looked forward to the weekdays rather than weekends because I liked the groups. They didn't keep me longer than originally discussed when I arrived as others were saying. But then again, maybe others didn't participate to their potential or maybe others didn't take the initiative to show their counselors what their intentions were. Some people want to get better and some people are court ordered to be there. The. Some, like me, were court ordered but wanted to get better. I completed a relapse prevention plan to present to my counselor and constantly asked her for more work books to better myself so she knew my intention was authentic. I guess I just felt that it was important for me to clarify my experience there because nobody pointed out anything positive, here's something. THE PLACE GAVE YOU ANOTHER CHANCE AT LIFE, IF YOU DONT TAKE IT AND IMMERSE YOURSELF INTO YOUR RECOVERY, YOUR DOOMED TO REPEAT HISTORY. The only shot we have is inside of us, the four walls doesn't mean a whole lot. it's your personal motivation.. Ask yourself what you want more and why. Thank you straight & narrow for the opportunity to take advantage of your program and I couldn't be more pleased with the majority of the staff. My counselor, Emily, was a super helpful person and important role in my early recovery. She challenged my answers, which I respect, and she also made me be accountable for my own recovery. She Cares, that's ultimately how I feel about her and I can't thank her enough. I would recommend this facility to anyone who wants recovery and isn't worried more about the color of the paint or what mattress they have, that person probably doesn't want recovery to begin with....
