My experience was it was a very decent facility.The staff seems to really care. I have been with unity chemical dependency for a while now. All of the staff in outpatient and the majority of staff in inpatient are compassionate and were essential for my recovery. My outpatient therapist is always ready to listen and give incredible support and resources. I don't think I would be in recovery if it weren't for my therapist, Sam. My life has been saved. I have improved my quality of life, as well as my relationships. I highly recommend unity chemical dependency for those who struggle with addiction. If you are committed to changing your life, this program and staff will do everything to support you.

No matter where you end up in recovery, any rehab you join can ultimately work for you if you make it work for you. With this being said, I'm not here to tell you if it's bad or good rehab...I've had both experiences here. But one thing is for certain, this place was an integral part of my success in my own recovery. I owe them that at least. I do want to highlight one thing, more than anything, this was amazing for me and I know it can be for you. Some of the staff and security were amazing. Dustin the security guy was there for me literally since day one. There has been times where past counselors and medical staff have been very useless on what needed to be done, and no matter the situation was I always felt better thanks to Dustin. He took the time to tell me hello and ask how I'm doing or even just passing along shouts of encouragement. And that has been all I needed after such times where maybe the place couldn't help me. But he did. Tom as well. And if you don't think that's such a big deal, they are both a huge part of what is and will be keeping me on the right path. It was a blessing I can take with me forever.

I recently had an emergency angiogram procedure at Unity Hospital, and I cannot say enough about the exceptional care I received. The doctors demonstrated outstanding professionalism and skill, ensuring the procedure went smooth. I felt confident I was in the best hands. The facility itself was spotless, well‑organized, and equipped with the latest technology, which gave me additional peace of mind.

I went to the ER early Monday, November 17. Fractured wrist and possible concussion. The care I rec'd was wonderful! Of course there was a wait. That's just healthcare in the US these days. BUT staff checked on me frequently and did what the they could to make me comfortable.
It was obvious that everyone was incredibly busy, so their efforts were deeply appreciated.

as a young 12-year-old I got sent to Wyndham lawn in 2009 due to my behavior in NYC public school district. after 2.5 years of being at Wyndham. Mr. Mario Hernandez took me and help me become a better me. also, all of the main building staff and day school teacher. I was a resident there when I was 12 years old. I'm now 38. Wyndham Lawn is the best place for kids with problems wether it's emotional or mental problems because the staff is the best there is. I know from experience. We had Mr.Hernendez and Mr.Williams and alot more. They were strict but fair and that's what kids like me needed at that time and still do now. I wish I was sent to Wyndham Lawn when my mom who put me in the child care system at the age of 5.

I went in yesterday and was surprised to see the new recreational center they created for Veterans. There's snacks, a pool table, and a great staff that work there. The whole Veterans Outreach Center has been good to me since I got out of the Navy in 2005. I sense there's a lot more they've done for me that I don't realize and for that if so I'm forever grateful. Thank you to all the staff and the community for your help. I go here for chemical dependency therapy, and after years of battling addiction and being on the losing side of the battle, I am finally winning my battle. And a big part of that is to the phenomenal help I get from my therapist and MAT dr. At Evelyn Brandon. My therapist is such a sweetheart. I can call or email her anytime of any day and she'll respond as soon as she can and help me through whatever. They act as more than drug counselors, they're life counselors too.
Plus I have a once a week group zoom meeting that I attend through Evelyn Brandon as well that I've gained some real close bonds with other recovering addicts so that I know that I'm never alone in this life long battle against my demons.
I recommend this place to anyone who wants to get help with either their mental health &/or their drug&/or alcohol addictions.. trust me, life is so much better being free from substances. It feels great!

There is not a single member of staff in the program that is not absolutely outstanding. If you really want the help, they will give you everything needed to get you clean and all the tools needed to keep you clean after the program. Clearview at st Marys has the tools available to get healthy and learn how to stay clean. I wish there were different options than twelve step programs but they help nonetheless. I don't understand the abundance of horrible reviews. Attending clearview greatly increased my chances of staying of my drugs of choice. I'd recommend them to anybody.best place in western ny and everyone I talk to tends to agree and I know allot of addicts.

I can't say enough about this place. It reminds me of a diamond in the rough. They have such a good program. We kept going to Rochester and it was always disappointing. They always said we have no beds. Your not that bad you can do outpatient. RGH was a JOKE. I will NOT go back to Rochester. If I have a friend or loved one who needs help. I will always refer to Buffalo.

Everyone thinks that Margaret A. Stutzman Addiction Treatment Center is like a prison, but they are wrong, addicts need to be in a special facility and that is what they offer, inside they can enjoy many recreational activities, they have their own room well equipped, meals are delicious, on weekends you can receive visits from your relatives. I recommend any addict who wants to make big changes in his life to join this program.

I used to live there 15/16 and they saved my life. I would love to be able to find Mr. Howard that worked there around 98/99 and tell him thank you. His belief in me turned me into a great mother and I've never been in trouble since. Please if anyone knows how to find him or lead me in the direction of him, let me know. Tell him I just need him to know I appreciate him and his sacrifices for me and the rest of the children that needed an ear to listen to us. I will never forget you. I'm forever grateful.
