I have used the VA services here a few times this year. Today, i visited the eye exam and eyeglasses. Everything went quickly. Everyone was professional, and it was an overall good experience. On the other occasions, i experienced similar attitudes and work ethic. I have noticed that this change came with the current administration's new policies. I'm changing my review to 4 stars for now. I will update again. Im leaving my old review below. ========Horrible " care" if you can call it that. Extremely disappointed with service received here . You are not a veteran or a person, you are treated as a number. If you have an option find another VA hospital. If not be prepared to wait months to be seen for 5 minutes where they won't even look you in the eye. Patient advocates have full voice-mail boxes and it's extremely difficult to get through to b anyone on phone. If they call you , will not leave messages. When doctors and staff have called me they will not even give a name or number , even if asked directly.

Always treat me with respect, and that I matter.

Great place and Great people that help you in your recovery journey..I have been going here on and off since 2017 and this time i am going to get it right. The program is very structured and can overwhelm some people. But if you truly want to get and stay clean, then this is the only recovery center in Greenville that you need to deal with, all of there counselors understand sbout addiction and have dealt with it in there life somehow. C

I've enjoyed Mrs Hester's company and assessment classes with her detailed ideas she's cool

Dr. Hester and Choices are the best substance abuse and mental health resource in Greenville, NC!! I first attended classes at Choices, and met Dr Hester, in 2008 and used those services again in 2013. The informative classes and passion for clients from staff had only improved between my time there. She works for clients to resolve any potential problems that may arise and stays committed to helping all clients finish their goals. Having so many years experience makes her perfect to help with many different services. Dr. Hester reminds us Life always gives you choices, while teaching tools needed for more successful life, provides convenient schedules for any availability, consistently professional, and the only substance abuse and mental health services I will send referrals. Everyone I have referred, agree and now refer Choices too!

Dr Shannon is awesome! The ladies at the front desk are so nice and very welcoming. No matter I'd your comming for yourself or a family member you will be taken care of here.

Excellent staff, they really care!!

My son was living in a ditch, more specific, in the open, uncovered ground swell that feeds a culvart. He is a heroin addict and went to Wilmington to get into The Healing Place. After 60 days of spinning his wheels, we decided to help (not force) him. Not to self: Heroin really does not allow a person to make logical decisions or take logical steps to accomplish something major. I became involved when I realized this and helped guide him. At least, I made contact with most of the people he had and stressed his situation. Crisis Center wrote his referral late on afternoon, WBJ's Medical Director approved it that night or the next morning, and by next night, my son was at Walter B Jones. They have answered the phone every time I called and were very helpful in explaining the entire process. The staff are exceedingly helpful and nice. My son called last night. He sounded good and in a few days, we hope he will be checking into THP for their 9-mo recovery pgm. I recommend WBJ for anyone who needs short-term detox.

When I was a patient here in the past I thought the staff was amazing. They really seem to care. That's not always the case in faculties that are private owned for profit. Ms. Wallace in particular was great, also Maria, Ray, and Paul. Dr. Brosco as well. In general they have good people working there. I don't go there anymore but my review is for outpatient. Inpatient is where most of the bad reviews come from. That's a separate building.

The nurses here are life savers. They helped me get back on my feet. If you decide to go, take advantage of the therapy sessions and classes that they offer. You are not alone, and I hope that you get the help that you need and deserve

My kids have been going here for a few years now, all the staff members are so friendly and we love Dr. Davis 😊 she’s amazing and very thorough! She always has such a stern serious face it makes me laugh so I always try to get a smile out of her 😜 They are always on top of everything my kids have needed! Thank you all for everything! You are the best!!!! Definitely Recommend this place 150% five stars all the way!!!

I really thank God for Dixons I really got the help I need my life was a mess until I started going there I was able to get myself together especially my mine they saved my life if you are struggling Dixons is the place to get the help you need a life saving program thank you Mr Dixons for bringing a life saving program to my home town it is well needed
