My experience at RMTC was a great life learning experience. First I had to come to believe I had a problem and then the staff could do what they do best. Not only did I get the help to treat my addiction I also learned a lot about my character defects that I didn't realize I had. This was tough to come to terms with but the more willIing I was to work on myself no matter how painful or uncomfortable it made me feel the more I was able to get out of the program. I am still sober and clean 7 months later and I am constantly working on becoming a better person. The staff and TA's are amazing people. The food was top notch. The equine therapy something I was skeptical about but it did wonders for me. I highly recommend this treatment center. My only advice to anyone going would be to push your ego aside and be ready to do whatever is asked of you no matter how much it eats at your ego or pride. If you are willing to dig deep inside yourself you will gain a tremendous amount of insight on what makes you tick and and how to curb it for the better. It will put you down the right path to continue to better yourself for the rest of your life.Jon T.

I've posted before that I like this place better than the place I have to go to in Wisconsin. I come here to guest dose when I come back to NC to visit family. I have the most amazing councelor (Mrs.Brooks),from the time I walk in to the time I leave I feel so welcome and I am always reminded how far I've came. The Raleigh VA Clinic has exceeded my expectations with every appointment. The receptionist greets you with a smile, which I know is easy only sometimes when interacting with the public.Dr. Sheryl Joyner is the epitome of professionalism, wisdom, and warmth. Equally, those who work with Dr. Joyner are a joy! Usually, I have "white coat" syndrome when I visit the doctor, and the anxiety elevates my blood pressure. However, nurses like Rashida King had me laughing and at ease in the short walk from the reception area to the doctor's office--no high blood pressure!Furthermore, Dr. Joyner and Nurse King were informative, relatable, and authentically caring. Going to the doctor is not at the top of anyone's list of things to do, but the staff at the Raleigh VA clinic are good medicine!

Today was my first visit to any VA clinic as a patient and I must say I was impressed at the overall expereince. I was seen promptly after arrival, the nurse was very friendly and professional as was Dr. Alexander! Both were very thorough and informative. I did not feel rushed at all. All my questions were answered. The young lady in the lab for blood work was very pleasant as well. The facility was organized and well kept. I have no reservation about returning. This is the level of service that should be expected at any healthcare facility, from check in to check out everyone was very welcoming, well done!

I ve held events at many convention centers and Raleigh is definitely one of my favorites. The light in the lobby and hallways is so inviting. The staff is great to work with. Nice stacked layout, such fun space to work with (especially the grand staircase). Only issue we found was with the elevators only going to certain levels and not well marked, but I think they re fixing that in the remodel.

This was my first visit to this clinic and I was very anxious because of some bad reviews and negative feedback from friends. The anxiety caused my blood pressure to shoot up through the roof. However, Ms. Durham, the nurse, calmed me down and took my anxiety away. Ms. Durham is a pleasant person who does a great job. In addition, Dr. Lee is a great doctor who cares about his patients. He explained everything to me in detail, not only the medical aspect, but also the administration resources that are available for me. I am a hospital corpsman and I have been working in the medical field for decades. I can say that my experience at the VA clinic is not different from any other private clinic, if not better. I only gave this review 4 stars because the receptionist was not smiling nor was she welcoming either. In fact, I felt that she got frustrated with me because she was unable to find my appointment easily. Overall, I can sincerely say that my visit was great! Thanks to the VA and all the staff for providing exceptional services to our veterans!

While driving to my appointment with my primary care provider I got a call from them stating that the provider was not working. Not the first time this happened. One nurse there is sadistic. A real monster. When giving vaccines he causes as much pain as possible. These people thrive on inefficiency. No one could work harder at doing worse. The office staff look at personal phones and rarely even look up. Rude. Routine visits from higher levels are desperately needed
