I went to Structure House in 2019. I can’t say enough about it. It helped me get into shape with the exercise classes and equipment. It helped me to develop healthy eating habits and because I stayed the whole month, I was able to stop my sweet cravings. In addition the classes taught me some great skills to catch myself when I want to go back to bad habits. I am actually 20lbs lighter now then when I was when I left (144lbs) and now in my husband has lost weight from the skills I learnt when there. My diabetes is a little better. So thankful for Structure House!

It was my first visit and I'm already planning to return next year. Staff is outstanding and I have made significant improvements to my health. There is something for everyone here. Whether you are looking to improve your physical and/or mental health, you will find experts here to assist in your journey. I highly recommend Structure House.

One of the best investments I've made in a long time was to spend 4 weeks in a total health and wellness immersion at Structure House. I tapped into my greatest and most authentic self while there with my wife. Total body, mind and spirit work. Life changing and transformative. I highly recommend that anyone and everyone give this gift to themselves. You will reset, recharge, rejuvenate, reawaken, rediscover, and retransform. They offer a lecture series entitled, "Digging Deeper" by Life Coach Dr. Lacy Frazier. Wow is all I can say! A must visit experience.

I have been here for a long time and have 27 take homes. If u actually wanna get clean and not just use it bc u can’t find anything else than the place is good plus since getting a new head nurse “that we needed so bad” n when Anna was the director things have gotten much better. even tho Anna is not there anymore she got it together and it seems like the new director is following her lead, the only bad thing I can say about Baart is if someone skips line or being disrespectful and you say something then I would be punished by holding my take homes over my head while the other person who started the mess has no take home’s receive no kinda punishment.

I started going to BAART 5-6 years ago after struggling with opioid addiction for years and I personally feel as if it saved my life. . . But I wanted it to. There are some amazing people who work there and who truly care about the patients recovery and bettering their lives. There are the people who work the program to really get themselves better and then there's the ones who just use the methadone to "not be sick" or in withdrawl but still use/get high. I have recommended BAART to multiple people and have also helped a few people with starting g treatment here.

Pasadena Villa was a blessing to find and work with. I was referred by my primary counselor at my request. The intake process was extremely straight forward with a phone call and mental health interview/review of current concerns. They reviewed and gave me a recommended program. The PHP into IOP was a great fit. I was reluctant to do something like this and even more reluctant as I started learning it was heavily geared towards group therapy. I was hoping for more 1:1 therapy time. I was extremely surprised at how much group therapy here helped and increased my growth and mental health journey. The program is geared to encourage discussion, self-reflection, and coping strategies (mainly CBT/DBt, but does include other strategies for more specific concerns) to use during and outside program sessions and beyond. The strategies they taught and helped us explore and implement, as well as the educational sessions more geared towards self-reflection, emotional regulation/recognition, inner self, etc. were tough, but extremely helpful. I have never felt more positive about myself, my mental health state, and my on-going mental health journey. The staff here is amazing and I can’t recommend them enough - if you’re looking for help at any level, I would highly recommend reaching out.

This is a terrific program! I can’t recommend it highly enough, and I’m pretty skeptical and critical generally. I didn’t really think I needed any outpatient program support when I started it, but I’m so glad I agreed to attend! I learned so much and have been applying what I’ve been learning. It’s really working and helping me deal with tough situations in much better ways. The DBT and CBT skills they teach seem like common sense at first, but they’re hard to realistically apply in day-to-day life. The way they are taught and reinforced at Pasadena Villa makes them more applicable to actual life and real situations, and they really help folks practice and engage with what they’re teaching. They use many different ways of teaching which helps make content accessible to different kinds of learners. The therapists are absolute rockstars!!! They do soooo much to accommodate people in whatever their situation is, making sure everyone feels and is safe and supported. They’re great at individual therapy and teaching groups, keeping conversations going and getting to know people well. All therapists learn all patients’ names on each person’s first day, which helps people feel comfortable and included. The organization runs really smoothly and transparently, and the curriculum is well-designed and engaging. You can tell that the director cares a lot about making it a good experience. She’s really down to earth and seeks (and applies!) feedback. They foster a really caring, open, safe culture that helps everyone feel welcome and appreciated. Additionally, the alternative therapy sessions are really fun, insightful, and useful (art, music, yoga). They keep the group sizes reasonable and pretty intimate. The other clients/participants/patients are also really really kind, supportive, and motivated (like literally almost every single person!). I looked forward to going every single day, which says a lot for 8 weeks at 9 am, 30 minutes from my home! The space itself is well supplied and designed: comfy chairs with little desks, rooms that have a lot of natural light (the pictures online are bad and don’t do it justice!), well-stocked snacks, fridge, water, coffee, nice quiet room to calm down, cool fidget toys, many art supplies, good lunches if you’re in PHP (I recommend starting with PHP if your work and insurance allow it — it was more helpful than IOP when I was initially having a pretty hard time, and then you step down to IOP which feels appropriate after some time in PHP). My only complaint is that the rooms are pretty cold — bring a sweater. If you’re considering an IOP or PHP program, you will not regret going to Pasadena Villa. If someone has advised you to do IOP or PHP, and you don’t think you need it, you will not regret going to Pasadena Villa! ;) P.S. I wasn’t paid or anything to write this glowing review — I really did absolutely love this program!!! And I rarely write reviews! :)

The Raleigh VA Clinic has exceeded my expectations with every appointment. The receptionist greets you with a smile, which I know is easy only sometimes when interacting with the public. Dr. Sheryl Joyner is the epitome of professionalism, wisdom, and warmth. Equally, those who work with Dr. Joyner are a joy! Usually, I have "white coat" syndrome when I visit the doctor, and the anxiety elevates my blood pressure. However, nurses like Rashida King had me laughing and at ease in the short walk from the reception area to the doctor's office--no high blood pressure! Furthermore, Dr. Joyner and Nurse King were informative, relatable, and authentically caring. Going to the doctor is not at the top of anyone's list of things to do, but the staff at the Raleigh VA clinic are good medicine!
