Courtney (works somewhere in the building) is extremely kind. Laura Taylor and Christine Hoener absolutely saved my life. They are the best care team in my life. They are both genuinely concerned about me. They treat me like a human and I’m actually heard by them. If Christine ever leaves, I don’t know what I would do. When I first met her she saw I was in crisis without me opening my mouth. It was the first time I felt like someone believed me. She listened to me and gave me the correct diagnosis!
Laura Taylor is kind and caring. I can’t say enough good things about her. I am so fortunate to have Laura as my therapist. I see many have horrible experiences at mental health.
My only bad experience is with a lot of those front desk staff on the 4th floor. I even had to swallow air real hard not to lose my composure. I often wonder why do they bother working at a place while adding to people’s traumas. A lot of them behind that window have absolutely no compassion. The 3rd floor staff have been very kind.

Update (17 Dec 2024): I mistook this clinic for its sister clinic in Jacksonville, NC. They reached out to me promptly and are assisting me with getting switched over their clinic. MTF.
(16 Dec 2024) Waited over a month, had 2 interviews/assessments, totaling 2.5 hours just to be told they can't treat me because of alcohol issues. The other problems are what's leading to alcohol issue. I don't understand. I was excited about finding a place that could actually help after 14 years of searching. Looks as though I still haven't found it.

I have been involved with Stedman Wade Family medical in Stedman NC for 15 months. I highly recommend them due to the love and care that everyone shares with each patient and their loves ones. My overall experience with Green Leaf Care Center has been phenomenal. What I loved about it is when we did the initial tour, I noticed both the caretakers and the residents were happy. They were doing activities and some physical therapy. Some people were in the dining room and they were just getting ready to eat meals and have a good time. They also have outings for those who are capable. My mother was very excited that they went on an outing to view Christmas lights. She hasn’t stopped talking about it! The surroundings and the area are peaceful, and the rooms are spacious. I just feel safe with her being on this property. The staff that assists me anytime I call with concerns have been great. I would say that they have succeeded my expectations, and they really care about their residents. I am happy I can trust them to ensure my mother has the level of care she needs.

The Raleigh VA Clinic has exceeded my expectations with every appointment. The receptionist greets you with a smile, which I know is easy only sometimes when interacting with the public.
Dr. Sheryl Joyner is the epitome of professionalism, wisdom, and warmth. Equally, those who work with Dr. Joyner are a joy! Usually, I have "white coat" syndrome when I visit the doctor, and the anxiety elevates my blood pressure. However, nurses like Rashida King had me laughing and at ease in the short walk from the reception area to the doctor's office--no high blood pressure!
Furthermore, Dr. Joyner and Nurse King were informative, relatable, and authentically caring. Going to the doctor is not at the top of anyone's list of things to do, but the staff at the Raleigh VA clinic are good medicine!
