AppleGate is a safe friendly environment to begin your treatment process. Some recovery center her in Dayton do not have your best interest in mind, just in the recovery business for the money, but here at AppleGate it s a small family oriented staff who are in the recovery business for the right reasons. Some of the staff have been through recovery themselves and can relate to your situation without prejudice or a feeling of being judged. They are here willing to help you pull through this storm and take back you life that you deserve. Love yourself enough to get help, even if you feel no one else dose. You are worth the time and effort, learn to love yourself again because they will hold your hands till the storm subsides and the sun shines again.

Cedar Oaks Wellness was an absolute life changer for me. The campus and staff were both vital in my recovery. I cannot give enough thanks to AJ, one of the group facilitators. Medmark is a great option for outpatient treatment in Dayton. There is often little to no wait time to dose, which compared to other clinics in the area, is a superior benefit.The majority of counselors and other staff are a step above. They tend to be more understanding, compassionate, down to earth and helpful than their peers in the field who are employed elsewhere. They go above and beyond for clients, making time for emergencies, questions, and requests.The program overall doesn't require an exceptional amount of the client's life, with just one group or one on one required per month.The location is convenient to get to, but the area tends to be pretty ghetto with a lot of "riff raff" in the parking lot.

I attended the IOP at Changes and loved it! I was very apprehensive to attend group therapy, but it was truly the best decision I have ever made. My therapists, Jenna and Maddie, were so knowledgeable, kind and helpful. In group, you learn about skills to cope with anxiety and depression. The skills I have learned are truly life-changing and empowering. I have been seen at the Middletown Clinic for over a year. I suffer from chronic back pain that has now spread to my neck. When I reached out to my PCM via My HealthVet I always chat with the nurse of Dr. Likki. I ve only seen Dr. Likki once which was for 3 minutes. I wrote a complaint about not seeing my PCM and wanting to know what s causing the pain in my neck after asking to speak with her about my results and further treatment only to have the nurse tell me she would forward my concerns to Dr Likki. Well I finally received a call from Dr Likki only for her to over talk my concerns and not hear what my issues were. The call was very unpleasant, unprofessional and mostly unproductive to my concerns. X-rays were ordered for my back but nothing was done for my neck and I tried to asked what s causing the unbearable discomfort only to be over talked and not heard. She ordered physical therapy which I ve had several times but what s causing the pain. I ve had great relationships with all my VA doctors up until now. Very need I ve had the nurse has addressed my needs to that s not the issue. The issues is the pain in my neck, no doctor to patient relationship, unprofessional call because I voiced my concerns through the VA Survey. I served for 20 years and I m greatful for the treatment i received but as a Vet of the VA and a patient I should be able to speak with my doctor as I have done multiple times before without being called and talked over with an unprofessional attitude.

If it wasn't for Eastway I would have been dead by now. I've been with them for 15 years. But their housing program is okay. I also like the fact that there's a pharmacy right there inside. I've been using Eastway's Pharmacy since they opened up. I definitely like that your meds can be delivered to your front door IF you have No Way of getting to the Eastway building. IF you have (a) prescription(s) that needs to be filled the same day you go in for an appointment with a Doctor they will have it filled by the time you're done with your appointment. I will Always recommend Eastway to someone that needs mental health and proper medications. I like the staff that works there. Everyone is very nice to you and they usually have a smile on their face. I try to get a laugh out of one of them and it usually works. As long as Eastway has their doors open I will continue to go there. The staff is wonderful. I'm glad that I have a case manager for longer than two years. My case manager now (and has been for 4 solid years.) She goes above and beyond the call of duty. (She's been there for about 20 years). She helps me go grocery shopping and soon to do laundry up the road. I Pray everyday that I don't lose the case manager I have now. I have pleasant feelings for Eastway. IF you get the chance to be a client at Eastway, remember that getting the right medication can take some time. It took them close to 13 years of trying different medications to get the right regimen that works for ME. I also like the fact that there's a Bus Stop right out front of the building. . I hope you can enjoy the care and staff there. Everyone there is a happy, pleasant person. I LOVE EASTWAY!!! The ONLY way I'll go somewhere else is IF they close their doors. My mother told me about Eastway and when I started the "Journey" there I had a sense of good things to come my way. The rollercoaster of emotions that I was going through finally ended when I became a client at Eastway. At first I didn't like it there because of TWO case managers they Always had a funky attitude towards me and dismissed the fact that I'm there for Mental Health. I'm getting treatment for my Bipolar Disorder. Looking back I'm Glad that I got help from them. IF I didn't make the first appointment to go there, I HIGHLY DOUBT I would be alive right now making this post. Eastway is the one facility that I recommend EVERYONE to go to for Mental Health. In my opinion and experience, Eastway is the place to go get help. Thank you Eastway for your help and this "journey" I'm on with y'all.

Staff too work with great doctors.and I'm just not saying that just too be saying that it's true I've always been able too get my meds which is one ofthe important reason too go to eastway other than the nurse staff and Doctors.If you need help I highly recommend eastway.ps I'm doing very well on my meds and help from my case manager. Remember everything doesn't go your way . But the Doctors know thier job. You just have too do your part also.

This facility is among the best in the entire Dayton region for drug rehab and medication assisted treatment plans. The counselors are top notch and the staff are always friendly, polite, and helpful in anyway possible that they can be. Relatively new to access,so far i have seen my counsler whois great,did a telehealth phone apt with the nurse with she was very nice,who promptly set me a phone appt with the nurse practioner this morning who will be giving me my mental health medication and maybe making adjustments or adding something new if needed for my bad anxiety issues ive had recently,and have an appointment with him next week to meet in person to keep me moving forward in a positive way hopefully so,yes kind of new but my services here so far is good!nothing to really complain about yet

It's hit or miss.The psychiatrist we found is a gem, who shares her professional advice after listening to our experiences and concerns. Dr. Kaitlyn Pollack is professional, understanding and friendly.However, finding a therapist that you trust and respect is a process, because you likely will have to try a few before finding the right person to help you. We went through six therapists in six months at the Xenia location, because they shuffled us from one to another regardless of the fact that my daughter was there for help with *separation anxiety*.

I've been a client on and off for multiple years for Substance Use Disorder and Major Depressive Disorder. I've always been pleased with the care I receive. I've participated in their IOP, PHP, After-care, individual therapy, and psychiatric programs. I've received medical help including the Vivitrol shot. The counselors are great (I've had at least seven different ones) and care about their clients. They are able to refer to higher levels of care if needed. They accept Caresource.And, as always with mental health facilities, you usually get out of it what you put into it.

This place COULD be a little more organized BUT I love it here. The staff is Great! Very personable and you need that going through the steps of getting clean and sober. You're in group from 7am to 8pm. I never had time to just decompress and actually think about things. In class so much,they often repeated the same things over and over I often"tuned out" due to repetitiveness. Also, I really need one on one therapy I didn't get it. Barley could use the phone and tecs were on power trips. Instead of making recovery happy. But overall they did a good job.

Reading these reviews is crazy MVR is the absolute best place you can go to for recovery if you truly want to recover. EVERY person working there is amazing and will help you with anything they can. Sad to see Brittany go she was a great counselor. I ve read the few negative reviews and without question can tell you they aren t true. I was one of their first clients and they definitely worked with my work schedule and whatever else i had come up in life. Honestly no bs there isn t a single thing i can say bad about them at all. I am very grateful for everything they have done for me and the big part they played in changing my life. MVR gives you all the tools you need to succeed and if you can t succeed here then you don t want recovery simple as that.
