I really love the staff here they genuinely have your recovery in mind first. Very supportive and helpful in providing you with everything you need to remain sober. Nice rooms with new remodeled bathrooms. I was very comfortable and they made sure I was. Alot of staff are recovering addicts themselves and that makes it even better. I loved mrs Brenda , she always had the best advice. Carla stuck with me when I struggled with getting to b admitted on time. Thank you all for everything! Will forever be a big part of my recovery!

Wonderful place to help you learn more about addiction and focus on your recovery! This placed also helped me learn more about myself, stability, and also to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Brightview in Wilmington, Ohio has truly been a lifesaver for me. The staff there is truly compassionate and caring. I was an emotional mess when I first stopped there. I didn’t even have an appointment, but I knew I had to get help right away. I’ll be forever grateful to the nurse, Linda, who came to my aid. She welcomed me and my tears with open arms. All of the other staff are truly amazing as well. My Dr. Don truly has a heart of gold and my counselor Lisa is Heaven Sent! I’ve never felt judged or uncomfortable in any way. Everyone that works there is amazing! My thanks goes out to Paula, Lola, Amanda and ALL the staff that have been there to help me through the struggles life has thrown at me this last year. I can’t recall all the names of the other smiling faces that greet me each time I go there, but they all have a way of making me feel like I’m seeing a friend. Awesome job, Brightview! I really feel like God guided my way to you! Thank you!

I've struggled with alcohol and cocaine since I was a young kid. When my rock bottom hit rock bottom, I knew I needed help. While looking for rehabs, I found one in Tennessee. I took the 8 hour drive only to turn around and come home. I didn't like the vibe. I kept seeing cedar oaks come up on my searches. So I decided to call. BEST decision I've ever made. The staff saved my life!! Shout out to Dee Dee. I can't even describe the bond that we had from the get go! And I miss her terribly.I could never put into words what the staff did for me. I am 47 days sober and that is the longest period I've ever gone. Quiet atmosphere. Amazing staff. In the middle of nowhere. I give this place 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you are struggling, I highly recommend it!!

I recently completed a 30-day stay at this residential alcohol rehab facility, and I can honestly say it was a life-changing experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, supported, and genuinely cared for by the entire staff. The nursing support staff was absolutely incredible — compassionate, empathetic, attentive, and always willing to listen. They made a difficult process feel much more manageable, and their kindness truly stood out. The BHT staff was equally wonderful: friendly, engaging, supportive, and always encouraging throughout my stay. The group sessions were one of the most impactful parts of the program. They provided deep personal insight, practical tools for long-term success, and created a strong sense of connection and support among peers. I left with a much greater sense of self-awareness and confidence moving forward in recovery. The environment itself was peaceful and healing. The facility sits on 112 acres of beautiful wooded surroundings that created a serene, calm, and tranquil atmosphere perfect for recovery and reflection. The activities offered were thoughtful, relaxing, and helped promote both mental and emotional wellness. The accommodations were comfortable, with adequate living space, private bathrooms, and comfortable beds that made the stay feel safe and relaxing. The food was another unexpected highlight — meals prepared by the executive chefs were consistently amazing and far exceeded expectations. Overall, I would highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking help with recovery. The combination of caring staff, meaningful programming, beautiful surroundings, and supportive community made this an experience I will always be grateful for. Truly a 5-star program.

This is the best clinic I have been to so far and I've been in treatment for over 10 years. Highly recommend this place to anyone look to start.The dr and counselors are very nice and willing to help you with your problems and really care. I switched because they offer split dosing because I was getting sick later in the day and all the other place didn't want to help but it is really going to be a big improvement for me.

Been going to the VA in Dayton for over 10 years. I have not had a bad experience there. I have been part of their smokers lung screening group for the last 5 years. They recently alerted me to a nodule that started growing fast. Since that discovery I've had pulmonaryscreening, PET scan and a biopsy. All in less than 3 weeks . They have been very attentive , honest and professional. The technology there is state of the art. In addition to all of this, everyone there treats me with absolute respect and honor. They always thank me for my service and I tell them that they are more deserving of thanks than me. A great hospital and organization.

Very good place to get your life back on track.... My mother is doing much better after 25 years!! She gave this place a shot and they have been excellent. They will always be some people who don't have respect or manners acting crazy but that doesn't mean everyone is like this. My experiences at Access Counseling is Great! 👍 I got Dr.Alshami as my Psychiatrist and I wouldn't change having him as my psychiatrist for the world. Other doctors I have gone to see ; it seems like when I talk it goes in one ear and out the other, but with Dr. Alshami, It really feels like he hears me and my concerns and listens to my needs. I just completed 30 day here's for for SUD. The facility was wondering. They helped me every step of the way while I was recovering. The staff,therapists,nurses and Doctors were all nice,helpful and respectful. I had ups and downs in the process but was guided through it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND I cannot say enough wonderful things about Skylight Recovery in Dayton, Ohio. From intake to departure, they exceeded every expectation I had as a mother navigating one of the most difficult times in our lives. From the very beginning, the staff kept me informed every step of the way with my son’s approval, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. They guided both of us through the process with compassion, professionalism, and genuine care. They even arranged an Uber pickup for my son, which was extremely convenient and helped make the transition into treatment much less stressful. They handled the FMLA and short-term disability paperwork professionally and efficiently, and even worked directly with his HR department to ensure everything was communicated properly. That level of support removed so much stress during an already emotional time. Christiana, the case manager, was absolutely amazing. She guided my son through the process, kept him informed, and reassured both of us that everything would be managed so we did not have to carry the burden alone. Her kindness, organization, and communication meant more than words can express. Mike was also incredibly supportive. He worked directly with my son in a way that was compassionate, open-minded, and understanding. It was clear he truly listened and cared about his recovery journey. And Kyle, I truly cannot say enough about this man. His support, compassion, and willingness to take the time to talk through concerns at any hour made such a difference for our family. He always made my son’s needs and best interests the priority, while also helping me feel supported and informed as a parent. The personal care and dedication he showed will never be forgotten. My son also shared how comfortable and safe he felt throughout his stay. The staff made him feel welcomed and supported from day one. He enjoyed the walks, the variety of group sessions, and even commented that the food was very good. Knowing he felt secure, cared for, and genuinely comfortable meant everything to me as a parent. I also want to specifically recognize Lorin, who was exceptional when working with insurance and managing the financial side of everything. She was incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable, making a complicated process feel much more manageable for our family. Kelsey also deserves special recognition for the weekly virtual family and friends sessions that are available both during treatment and aftercare. These sessions were incredibly valuable and supportive for families navigating recovery alongside their loved ones. She even took the time to meet with me directly, welcomed recommendations and feedback, and thoughtfully sent presentations whenever someone was unable to attend. I think this is my kids account but oh well. this is the best place for recovery. The front staff are so nice and they don't judge. They watch my son if he comes with me while I see the doc. but oh MAN Dr B is amazing. She has this office that is relaxing and cool, and she sees me. She really understands what my life has been like. I never had adoctor like her before. I wish she was my family doctor. She just makes it seem better when I tell her what is going on and how stressed out I am. Go to Clean Slate!

Idk I feel like this place does way better than any other place in dayton. I get my meds when I need them. Some body usually answers the phone depending on what day it is and time of day. I also like how all the Services all in one building. They Offer a lot of programs that will help you but you have to be willing to put in the work. Case management is amazing those woman that work up there are the best on what they do. Counseling is also really nice as well. I highly recommend this place to new and old Ohioans that want to work on them selfs.

I want to take a moment to give well-deserved recognition to two truly exceptional Resident Assistants: Brittany B. and Alicia. Brittany, the Resident Assistance Supervisor, is simply outstanding. Her interpersonal skills with the clients are remarkable. She consistently puts the needs of the clients first, often disregarding her own comfort or schedule to help someone through a tough situation. Her compassion for this work runs deep, and she goes above and beyond on a daily basis. Brittany is a complete asset to Woodhaven P.H.P., and the program is incredibly fortunate to have her. I truly wish there were more people like her in this field. Alicia is equally phenomenal in her own way. She is incredibly thorough and professional in everything she does. From the moment a new resident arrives from the detox unit, Alicia makes them feel genuinely welcome with her warm smile and caring attitude. She takes the time to properly orient them to their new home and helps them settle in with patience and kindness. There is not a single day that goes by where I don’t see Alicia smiling — her positive energy is truly uplifting and consistent. Both Brittany and Alicia played a significant role in my recovery journey. Their dedication, professionalism, and genuine care made a real difference in my life. If you're serious about your recovery this place is amazing!! Staff genuinely cares and they will go above and beyond to help you achieve sobriety. They accept all types of insurance including Medicaid. All meals are provided and fresh plus they have a store you can order from that delivers 2× a week! They offer detox and then they will help you get set up with sober living or you can stay and level up to their PHP program! I can't say enough good things about this place they helped save my life

It's hit or miss. The psychiatrist we found is a gem, who shares her professional advice after listening to our experiences and concerns. Dr. Kaitlyn Pollack is professional, understanding and friendly. However, finding a therapist that you trust and respect is a process, because you likely will have to try a few before finding the right person to help you. We went through six therapists in six months at the Xenia location, because they shuffled us from one to another regardless of the fact that my daughter was there for help with *separation anxiety*.

I've been a client on and off for multiple years for Substance Use Disorder and Major Depressive Disorder. I've always been pleased with the care I receive. I've participated in their IOP, PHP, After-care, individual therapy, and psychiatric programs. I've received medical help including the Vivitrol shot. The counselors are great (I've had at least seven different ones) and care about their clients. They are able to refer to higher levels of care if needed. They accept Caresource. And, as always with mental health facilities, you usually get out of it what you put into it.
