I really love the staff here they genuinely have your recovery in mind first. Very supportive and helpful in providing you with everything you need to remain sober. Nice rooms with new remodeled bathrooms. I was very comfortable and they made sure I was. Alot of staff are recovering addicts themselves and that makes it even better. I loved mrs Brenda , she always had the best advice. Carla stuck with me when I struggled with getting to b admitted on time. Thank you all for everything! Will forever be a big part of my recovery!

Eastway Corporation is a behavioral health and addiction treatment center in Dayton, Ohio. They operate about 24 behavioral health facilities across the state and help individuals address challenges like mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders. The latter is when you’re simultaneously dealing with addiction and mental health issue | Treatments Programs Payment Options | If it wasn't for Eastway I would have been dead by now. I've been with them for 15 years. But their housing program is okay. I also like the fact that there's a pharmacy right there inside. I've been using Eastway's Pharmacy since they opened up. I definitely like that your meds can be delivered to your front door IF you have No Way of getting to the Eastway building. IF you have (a) prescription(s) that needs to be filled the same day you go in for an appointment with a Doctor they will have it filled by the time you're done with your appointment. I will Always recommend Eastway to someone that needs mental health and proper medications. I like the staff that works there. Everyone is very nice to you and they usually have a smile on their face. I try to get a laugh out of one of them and it usually works. As long as Eastway has their doors open I will continue to go there. The staff is wonderful. I'm glad that I have a case manager for longer than two years. My case manager now (and has been for 4 solid years.) She goes above and beyond the call of duty. (She's been there for about 20 years). She helps me go grocery shopping and soon to do laundry up the road. I Pray everyday that I don't lose the case manager I have now. I have pleasant feelings for Eastway. IF you get the chance to be a client at Eastway, remember that getting the right medication can take some time. It took them close to 13 years of trying different medications to get the right regimen that works for ME. I also like the fact that there's a Bus Stop right out front of the building. 😎🤗🤓💜✌️🤙👌💟☮️. I hope you can enjoy the care and staff there. Everyone there is a happy, pleasant person. I LOVE EASTWAY!!! The ONLY way I'll go somewhere else is IF they close their doors. My mother told me about Eastway and when I started the "Journey" there I had a sense of good things to come my way. The rollercoaster of emotions that I was going through finally ended when I became a client at Eastway. At first I didn't like it there because of TWO case managers they Always had a funky attitude towards me and dismissed the fact that I'm there for Mental Health. I'm getting treatment for my Bipolar Disorder. Looking back I'm Glad that I got help from them. IF I didn't make the first appointment to go there, I HIGHLY DOUBT I would be alive right now making this post. Eastway is the one facility that I recommend EVERYONE to go to for Mental Health. In my opinion and experience, Eastway is the place to go get help. Thank you Eastway for your help and this "journey" I'm on with y'all.

the important reason too go to eastway other than the nurse staff and Doctors. If you need help I highly recommend eastway.ps I'm doing very well on my meds and help from my case manager. Remember everything doesn't go your way . But the Doctors know thier job. You just have too do your part also.

My husband attended Cedar Oaks in May of 2024 and we had the absolute best experience with the facility and staff! I thought there was no hope in him recovering from his alcoholism and now he has over a year sober! Literally from the first phone call I knew this was going to be good for not only him but for our family. They provided such great insight into the addiction process because this isn’t something I’d ever thought I’d experience as a partner and even offered family therapy sessions which I attended via phone as we are out of state. My husband is not the same man I watched get on the plane to treatment and I truly owe that to Cedar Oaks.

CEDAR OAKS SAVED MY LIFE!!!!
I’ve struggled with a heroine and fentanyl addiction for 10 years and have been through upwards of 80+ rehab stints. God willing after attending Cedar Oaks I will celebrate 1 year of continuous sobriety in a few days. I’d never made it past 60 days in the past. Huge shoutout to John Lyons for his dedication to helping his clients and for going above and beyond to make sure I got the personalized treatment I needed to be successful in my recovery. He was a god send!!! That man truly believes in his facility and was there to help with any request and reservation I had during my stay. He even personally invites me to every alumni event they have and I’ll definitely be attending one day (I’m a PA resident so I’d have to travel) but it’d be so worth it. The nursing staff was so loving and helpful throughout the detox process and the clinical staff led groups that were fully engaging and interesting rather than just the typical relapse prevention groups I was used to. I will always recommend Cedar to any addict struggling and cannot thank them enough for helping me take my life back

Medmark is a great option for outpatient treatment in Dayton. There is often little to no wait time to dose, which compared to other clinics in the area, is a superior benefit.
The majority of counselors and other staff are a step above. They tend to be more understanding, compassionate, down to earth and helpful than their peers in the field who are employed elsewhere. They go above and beyond for clients, making time for emergencies, questions, and requests.
The program overall doesn't require an exceptional amount of the client's life, with just one group or one on one required per month.
The location is convenient to get to, but the area tends to be pretty ghetto with a lot of "riff raff" in the parking lot.

I have been seen at the Middletown Clinic for over a year. I suffer from chronic back pain that has now spread to my neck. When I reached out to my PCM via My HealthVet I always chat with the nurse of Dr. Likki. I’ve only seen Dr. Likki once which was for 3 minutes. I wrote a complaint about not seeing my PCM and wanting to know what’s causing the pain in my neck after asking to speak with her about my results and further treatment only to have the nurse tell me she would forward my concerns to Dr Likki. Well I finally received a call from Dr Likki only for her to over talk my concerns and not hear what my issues were. The call was very unpleasant, unprofessional and mostly unproductive to my concerns. X-rays were ordered for my back but nothing was done for my neck and I tried to asked what’s causing the unbearable discomfort only to be over talked and not heard. She ordered physical therapy which I’ve had several times but what’s causing the pain. I’ve had great relationships with all my VA doctors up until now. Very need I’ve had the nurse has addressed my needs to that’s not the issue. The issues is the pain in my neck, no doctor to patient relationship, unprofessional call because I voiced my concerns through the VA Survey. I served for 20 years and I’m greatful for the treatment i received but as a Vet of the VA and a patient I should be able to speak with my doctor as I have done multiple times before without being called and talked over with an unprofessional attitude.

The psychiatrist we found is a gem, who shares her professional advice after listening to our experiences and concerns. Dr. Kaitlyn Pollack is professional, understanding and friendly.
However, finding a therapist that you trust and respect is a process, because you likely will have to try a few before finding the right person to help you. Just want to speak on my personal experience at Nova from last year. Even though I was mandated/forced to go by probation, I still had a fairly good time here. They take great care of everyone the best that they can. Food was always delicious and kept me full all day long. I gained almost 25 lbs here lol. Groups are from 7am-6pm if I remember it correctly, with several breaks in between for meals and ‘quiet hour’ where you can chose to sleep or work on anything else you need to get done. Meetings with your counselor once a week. New snack bag every week as well. If the weather is nice the techs take your unit on walks outside. Smoking is allowed, just no vapes. It’s honestly an amazing place to go if you don’t look at it in such a negative way, and are truly ready to get clean and want better for yourself. I don’t understand all the bad reviews! Mama Kat, Craig, and Alonzo were my favorite techs during my stay here. I forget my counselors name but he was pretty awesome too. Always came into his groups in the most optimistic moods, with a boombox playing music, or his Nintendo switch and we’d have a bowling tournament on certain days. Could never thank these four enough for the impact they had on my path to recovery! Thanks to all the other staff not mentioned as well!

My name is Bradley Parker and I graduated on the seventh of July. I cannot say enough about this wonderful program, how it not only saved my life, but saved my faith in ways words cannot begin to describe. Now, truth be told, this is a hard program, only if your honest and willing (which is all that is needed) will you be successful. But I can promise you, and may God be a witness to what I say, if you do these two things, it will change your life
