After years of being in and out of hospitals for various reasons in several different states, I can say this one has by far the best care I have ever received. Every single staff member has gone above and beyond and genuinely wants to you feel as comfortable and cared for as you can. My only complaint is that there’s not a vending machine full of snacks directly next to my bed.

The people who work here are the best I've ever dealt with at any hospital. They respect your dignity, they encourage you, and they are always eager to help, regardless of your circumstances. The food is good, too. But really, every nurse, technician, doctors are attentive, friendly and professional. I highly recommend then for all your Healthcare needs. A+ treatment and service.

My husband went there for kratom addiction. He left early but has been sober for 6 months!! I credit them with helping him get over the physical symptoms with care and compassion. Truly life changing!! And his insurance fully covered his stay. Family days were insightful and it's a very nice, interesting property. Id recommend it to anyone facing addiction. So I’ve personally done this program twice. And I really liked the place it’s true the website does need to be updated because they don’t offer a lot of the services it says on the website. But it’s a place you can really focus on your recovery and work on yourself without any distractions. The staff are also in recovery there selves so it’s not being taught or ran by people with no experience in addiction. If you’re going to go with the right intention of getting yourself together for yourself first then this is the place that I would recommend. They cook good homemade meals. Lots of meat and potatoes. The rooms are big and have their own air conditioner that you can control. My favorite part was how big the property is and if you wanted space there is plenty of space to clear your mind without being bothered.

This placed literally saved my life. I had been rapidly declining and was on the verge of completely breaking when I learned of Laureate. I walked into the building and told them I was there seeking help and they were kind from minute one. From intake with Diego and Anthony to being taken over to the senior area (MacDonald 2, I think?) everyone was professional, very kind and caring. Dr. O'Meilia was an absolute blessing. He listened, he cared, he understood and he helped me find my way back. I stayed five days and had follow-up via outpatient that started quickly after inpatient discharge. Everyone there has been kind and supportive. I've returned to work (very light schedule) and am feeling well again and I attribute all of this to Laureate, Dr. O'Meilia, Dr. Lawrence, the patient technicians who were so incredibly helpful, patient and kind. You clearly get out what you put in..... I was in a bad spot when I arrived, I could argue I have more issues that Time Magazine. I finally hit rock bottom and checked myself in. I can tell you in the week I was there, I saw the difference in the people and there were 2 types. Those looking to gain something, and those just doing whatever they could to get out. Just as an observer, those who tried to work the program and get something out of it, did. Was everyone perfect, no, but its a mental hospital. It wasn't an amusement park. Very structured, I don't miss the meals, but I was fed, and looked after. I hope you never need it, but as someone who did, it really helped me in ways I never experienced. If I ever need it again, I know where to go.....here.

You can always get someone on the phone, they are attentive, answer questions, provide you the help and resources you need. 10/10 as for my experiences with IHS and we’ve been to several different healthcare facilities in the state since we’ve moved so much. I haven’t had the appointment yet but Marliena in patient registration was SO SWEET AND HELPFUL!! I felt so “heard”!!! I wish there were more employees that were so helpful and NICE!! I want to point something out. I was in this boys home for four years. Those were the best years of my life. I had very tough times but the staff stuck with me and helped me out. I’m seeing a lot of bad reviews that don’t make sense to the boys home that I know. There is one that kicks the side of me like a truck, it’s the review about Rylan Harris. I personally knew this young man and he took it upon himself to break the rules and put himself in harms way. Unfortunately he passed. I know of some other kids that the same thing happened to and I could’ve been one of them cause I would run away. Kids aren’t running away cause this place is abusive like you people want to claim. They are running away because they don’t like the authority above them. Now may God bless those families who lost someone, some little boy that was in some sort of accident. But don’t blame the staff. The staff do everything they can and have rules and policies preventing things that I know for a fact they follow. They don’t like some of them but in order to keep the job that continues helping young men they have to. This place is not a bad place. I stuck out four years here. I got out three years ago and since then I’ve bought several of my own cars, kept a good paying job, and pay my own bills. I’m 20 years old. DO NOT BLAME THE STAFF. If a staff member did something wrong I have full belief and trust in the management taking action. And if this isn’t enough to stop all the hate sending these people’s way than all of you are no better than who you say they are
