The main parking garage and facility are clean, well-maintained, and easy to navigate. The staff were friendly, checked on me, and helped me find where I needed to go. The Women’s Clinic is especially nice, and the resident/doctor I saw was incredibly caring and attentive. Overall, this is definitely the best VA medical center I have been to. I am now going strong, with over 5 years of recovery and a happy healthy 5 year old girl. The doctors are very attentive & genuinely care about the patients. I went there last year & got on the methadone program. They were extremely helpful w setting me up at the methadone clinic closest to my home location. They get a star taken way only because you can’t leave your small room unless it’s to walk the hallways. Fresh air & some sunshine would’ve made it a perfect 5 stars but you can’t leave your room really is the only negative thing I’d say about the place. I am praying I get him back as my psych! Praying for the staff there and clients. Winter is a rough time cause it's dark early, and we're all struggling with something, but the sun always breaks through the clouds eventually. 🌨️🌫️🌤️☀️ Anonymous A 9 months ago Good peeps Tyler Larson 10 months ago i’m not sure if she still works with sound health but jessica was a wonderful psychologist for me. living in seattle was hell and weekly appointments with her made it bearable. although the northgate building is in a rough area, Jessica and staff alike created a home-like environment for me and i was able to rely on it heavily. even a year + later the warmth and kindness shown to me by jessica, kate, and carly ruminate in my mind like a safety blanket. dr.pascoe was lovely as well. weekly dbt and relationship group meetings including other like minded teens provided me with a sense of belonging and family. with an abusive home life and challenging school environment, the group therapy i attended was the loving community i needed. i still have the therapy worksheets as memories and references from our sessions together. i think about them often and hope their doing well. the impact they’ve had on me is immeasurable, and for that i’m truly so grateful. i miss them dearly, as they were a resource for me when i was desperate for an outlet. someday i hope to provide someone with the same compassion and support that was given to me. the gratitude i hold for them is infinite, i wouldn’t be where i am today without them. ❤️🥹 Rhyanna Washington 11 months ago

This was the best thing I have ever done for myself and everyone here is dedicated, caring and beyond helpful. I had a wonderful group of community members which made this experience so great. You get out of this what you put in so don't believe any of these nasty reviews. Also the food is AMAZING. My counselor Jamie was top notch. She focused my sessions and homework on who I am individually. She didn't just go off of a document and doled out boilerplate information. She took the time to curate something special just for me, that she knew would speak to my experience. She went out of her way to make sure that I was being heard and understood and provided support that I never felt in active addiction. The floor staff here are so wonderful and caring! Rosa is a gift from the heavens to mankind and always made sure that everyone had everything they needed. She cares deeply about everyone who goes through that program. She made me feel special and loved in a point in my life where I couldn't do that for myself. She is a true blue good person and I am so thankful to have had my time with her. I love her so much and would take a bullet for her! Joselyn is the sweetest human being on earth. She takes time out of her day to make sure you are okay and offer her help should you need anything. She's also relatable and kind and never made you feel like a patient. She treated you with respect and warmth. Jen is a laugh riot and could make our whole group erupt into laughter even after a particularly heavy or emotional class or group session. She also cares so deeply for everyone's recovery and makes you feel safe. She made me cry during my graduation because she was so proud of me. Angie was our mom. She maintained order but also went out of her way to make you feel welcome, that all of your needs were met and that you didn't go without. She was also HILARIOUS and was able to diffuse any situation with a smile and a joke. Megan the Discharge Coordinator is a true force of nature. She is a self described bull dog and fights tooth and nail every day to make sure everyone has housing, funding and a safe place to go post recovery. I saw her come in on her days off several times just to help a single person. There is a reason Turning Point has 100% placement and that is Megan. Taryn is my favorite person on earth and deserves an award. She helped me so immensely with my recovery. Taryn taught me the ins and outs of meetings and how to prepare for life once outside the treatment bubble. She helped me find housing and meetings near me and I can't thank her enough for her dedication and support. She keeps everyone laughing and in a good mood and is such a kind positive spirit that can make you feel loved and cared about even in your darkest of times. Thank you so much Taryn! Love her so so much! Sea MarTurning Point is an amazing program because it is run with a level respect and dignity for all who attend. So often in the mental health or medical field there is a huge disconnect between staff and clients. Where some view people in recovery as just work or something that they have to deal with in their job. Not at all true for Turning Point. They are involved, they are dedicated and they truly care about everyone that comes through there. You will never feel like a burden or patient which is so important as my own view of myself going into treatment was awful. If you are looking for a treatment program look no further. I even showed him how to play "come as you are" by Nirvana on guitar. It really touched me man and if that staff is seeing this, thank you so much bro you heard me when nobody else did and that changed everything I'm 16 now and doing better then ever, truely thank you so much. (Edit: Also, I don't doubt that this place is a solid place to get better if you genuinely want too also the staff are super down to earth and seem to truely care, it has warmer/cozier tones and lights, and the sweats they give you are super comfy.) In addition, UW Medicine was extremely anxious to bill me over Labor Day weekend and sent me two texts that I owed something like $800. When I was finally able to call them about it for more information, they had updated it to $1600. Why spam me with bill notices before the total has even been calculated? Especially when it is literally twice the initial amount which was already going to be a financial strain? Later when I go to the Walgreens and buy another tub of ice cream, I will see a glimpse of Harborview and I know a tear will come to my eye cause I know there are hard-working, nurses and doctors. The Seattle VA saved my 80 year old Dad a Vietnam Vet's life! The care he received was amazing! His doctors and nurses are awesome! I have been to several VA medical centers, and Seattle is by far the best. The main parking garage and facility are clean, well-maintained, and easy to navigate. The staff were friendly, checked on me, and helped me find where I needed to go. The Women’s Clinic is especially nice, and the resident/doctor I saw was incredibly caring and attentive. Overall, this is definitely the best VA medical center I have been to. The only downside is that the appointments are scheduled so far out. But, the doctors welcome you to send a message through the patient portal if need be.

I believe in this clinic more than i could have ever believed getting off of heroin was possible. They are such gracious, understanding, considerate, patient, and the upmost helpful people I have ever come across. This place helped save my life. The CUPWS program and the doctors associated with it are nothing short of amazing. I received the best care here and through the OB Outreach Clinic. I am now going strong, with over 5 years of recovery and a happy healthy 5 year old girl. Recovery is possible, thank you Dr. Rudolf, Dr. Walsh, and everyone who supported me on my journey along the way. Proud to say that I have changed my life, and currently in Nursing School so I can provide the compassion and care that was once so freely given to me through this program and the beginning of my recovery. It’s a drug detox facility it’s not supposed to be fun. The doctors are very attentive & genuinely care about the patients. I went there last year & got on the methadone program. They were extremely helpful w setting me up at the methadone clinic closest to my home location. They get a star taken way only because you can’t leave your small room unless it’s to walk the hallways. Fresh air & some sunshine would’ve made it a perfect 5 stars but you can’t leave your room really is the only negative thing I’d say about the place. Other than that, it’s an amazing place to detox at. They will do everything in their power to make it as easy & painless as possible

I'm doing everything in my power (which isn't much 😂) to make it there tomorrow (Thurs) for an intake to get Chris M back, cause he's the best psych I ever had. In case you're reading this Chris, I miss you buddy! I have just been stuck in debilating depression and couldn't even make it out of my room, let alone my bed, for months. It gets THAT bad. So I kept missing apts and eventually Sound had to kick me off because I wasn't showing up at all. I am praying to God that I can get Chris M back as my psych, because not only do I need one, but I do need med management and I need someone to talk to about things with that isn't a friend or AA. I am praying I get him back as my psych! Praying for the staff there and clients. Winter is a rough time cause it's dark early, and we're all struggling with something, but the sun always breaks through the clouds eventually. 🌨️🌫️🌤️☀️

i’m not sure if she still works with sound health but jessica was a wonderful psychologist for me. living in seattle was hell and weekly appointments with her made it bearable. although the northgate building is in a rough area, Jessica and staff alike created a home-like environment for me and i was able to rely on it heavily. even a year + later the warmth and kindness shown to me by jessica, kate, and carly ruminate in my mind like a safety blanket. dr.pascoe was lovely as well. weekly dbt and relationship group meetings including other like minded teens provided me with a sense of belonging and family. with an abusive home life and challenging school environment, the group therapy i attended was the loving community i needed. i still have the therapy worksheets as memories and references from our sessions together. i think about them often and hope their doing well. the impact they’ve had on me is immeasurable, and for that i’m truly so grateful. i miss them dearly, as they were a resource for me when i was desperate for an outlet. someday i hope to provide someone with the same compassion and support that was given to me. the gratitude i hold for them is infinite, i wouldn’t be where i am today without them. ❤️🥹

I graduated the 28 day program on June 2nd, 2025. This was the best thing I have ever done for myself and everyone here is dedicated, caring and beyond helpful. I had a wonderful group of community members which made this experience so great. You get out of this what you put in so don't believe any of these nasty reviews. Also the food is AMAZING. My counselor Jamie was top notch. She focused my sessions and homework on who I am individually. She didn't just go off of a document and doled out boilerplate information. She took the time to curate something special just for me, that she knew would speak to my experience. She went out of her way to make sure that I was being heard and understood and provided support that I never felt in active addiction. The floor staff here are so wonderful and caring! Rosa is a gift from the heavens to mankind and always made sure that everyone had everything they needed. She cares deeply about everyone who goes through that program. She made me feel special and loved in a point in my life where I couldn't do that for myself. She is a true blue good person and I am so thankful to have had my time with her. I love her so much and would take a bullet for her! Joselyn is the sweetest human being on earth. She takes time out of her day to make sure you are okay and offer her help should you need anything. She's also relatable and kind and never made you feel like a patient. She treated you with respect and warmth. Jen is a laugh riot and could make our whole group erupt into laughter even after a particularly heavy or emotional class or group session. She also cares so deeply for everyone's recovery and makes you feel safe. She made me cry during my graduation because she was so proud of me. Angie was our mom. She maintained order but also went out of her way to make you feel welcome, that all of your needs were met and that you didn't go without. She was also HILARIOUS and was able to diffuse any situation with a smile and a joke. Megan the Discharge Coordinator is a true force of nature. She is a self described bull dog and fights tooth and nail every day to make sure everyone has housing, funding and a safe place to go post recovery. I saw her come in on her days off several times just to help a single person. There is a reason Turning Point has 100% placement and that is Megan. Taryn is my favorite person on earth and deserves an award. She helped me so immensely with my recovery. Taryn taught me the ins and outs of meetings and how to prepare for life once outside the treatment bubble. She helped me find housing and meetings near me and I can't thank her enough for her dedication and support. She keeps everyone laughing and in a good mood and is such a kind positive spirit that can make you feel loved and cared about even in your darkest of times. Thank you so much Taryn! Love her so so much! Sea MarTurning Point is an amazing program because it is run with a level respect and dignity for all who attend. So often in the mental health or medical field there is a huge disconnect between staff and clients. Where some view people in recovery as just work or something that they have to deal with in their job. Not at all true for Turning Point. They are involved, they are dedicated and they truly care about everyone that comes through there. You will never feel like a burden or patient which is so important as my own view of myself going into treatment was awful. If you are looking for a treatment program look no further.

Well my experience their after the first four day was a burr after that .it was a very good experience just do as the staff asked of you to follow directions .you will be fine.mei loved going to the park on sunny days.also love them for letting me watch the Seahawk games .love the two dinner thing on Friday s loved the donut too loved going to uncle Ronnie s on Friday..well I tried my hardest to quit the drugs I use I really cut back on them I buy stuff now instead of drugs my life is normal now .when I stepped out of treatment I was a complete different person thank you to the staff my life is different now .a big thank you to the night time staff too haven't forgotten about you .also I use meditation as a day ly thing now it really works .thank you my name their was money Mike Michael s I was there two year's ago October 1 to the 31 it was a different experience when I came out a different person completely.. thanks again yes I had to edit me again it's time to get up I remember 7 am very hard to get up but I did .those walks were refreshing in the morning . we'll I hope someone sees this it's not all bad .they do let you get out & do stuff they do treat you with respect.i was the dumb one for only bringing the clothes on my back thank you for the donated clothes I still have my black sweat shirt with a skull and a gun my treat or treat shirt.you will get used thing it takes about a week too to just follow directions & you will make it I did.28 seems like a long time well it is after the first week it will fly bye later I hope somebody see a it the way I did later Money Mike aka Michael. The facility itself wasn't good but wasn't bad either, but what did make this a five star review is how much love and empathy the facility genuinely had for me, they were the only people who treated me like I was a person instead of a weapon or a criminal or even just someone to use, the only requirements they had were literally just to follow a structured life while in there, be respectful, and be the best version of myself while needed, Majority of the staff in there had experience and stories that would actually help a young man like myself keep composed and actually learn something, and the counselors in there were top tier and actually loved the kids unlike the justice system in Washington state, they were genuinely so cool that I idolized them, and my counselor's Dillon.p and Oriana actually gave effort into analyzing my mental health problems and actually giving me ways to handle it, and the funny thing is every psychologist and therapist I've seen couldn't see past any of my words, that's how you know these "Counselors" actually cared enough to listen to me when I needed it, and the floor staff were hella cool and were people I'd genuinely hangout with outside of rehab if I could, even the cooks were chill, and Sabrina and cj and Kristen were so professional that I looked up to them even, plus don't get me started on the chill therapist aakanksha genuinely a sweetheart, this message is very long so I'm gonna wrap it up though, if you want a treatment that will not only get your kid sober, but also help them mature and actually want to have better emotional control and mature to be a dope person, please consider seamar they genuinely hold a place in my heart and I loved it here and would actually go back just to be there if I could, also forget to mention maria she's also hella cool and sits down and gives time to those in need, anyways that's all I gotta say I love you seamar and i appreciate you changing my life.(Shout-out Shaq and jairo too)

I came hear a bit ago 2 times actually it’s honestly not a bad place I actually liked it the staff are chill probably there new staff but usually all the staff I have meet are good people the foods hella good to I lowkey miss it but the first time I went I was doing dumb stuff honestly I was not really taking it serious wich ended up n me running away but the second time I went they where hella welcoming I was honestly surprised they actually let me back but this last time I went it was amazing I did talk to the mental Health therapist and my counselor a lot they was all hella respectful what they said made sense they have a program that comes every once in a while and they do activities outside but honestly seeing all these people complain honestly it also really depends what other teena are there wi u but it’s all up to you when it comes to stopping

I denied going in for PTSD reasons but there was this staff that I sat and talked about philosophy and life with. I even showed him how to play "come as you are" by Nirvana on guitar. It really touched me man and if that staff is seeing this, thank you so much bro you heard me when nobody else did and that changed everything I'm 16 now and doing better then ever, truely thank you so much. (Edit: Also, I don't doubt that this place is a solid place to get better if you genuinely want too also the staff are super down to earth and seem to truely care, it has warmer/cozier tones and lights, and the sweats they give you are super comfy.)

I am giving 5 stars only because of the staff here who were truly trying their best and keeping a positive attitude despite the people and environment they were dealing with. The hospital itself was very dirty with extremely long wait times. I have no idea what tests they ran or how they tried to help me, all I know is that somehow it was worth $1600 after insurance. Absolutely wild that I will be paying $240 monthly in health insurance premiums and medical bills and my quality of life hasn't improved in any way and I have no answers. In addition, UW Medicine was extremely anxious to bill me over Labor Day weekend and sent me two texts that I owed something like $800. When I was finally able to call them about it for more information, they had updated it to $1600. Why spam me with bill notices before the total has even been calculated? Especially when it is literally twice the initial amount which was already going to be a financial strain? No idea where else I could express these frustrations, I don't want to take it out on any insurance people, but the healthcare system in america is damning and living here is hell

I am part of a Grey’s Anatomy fan club group. Every once in a while, I will leave my trailer park and meet up with some friends to discuss the greatest TV show in the world! When I look at Harborview, I always start crying because I think of Grey’s Anatomy! I mean, just think about it. It’s the greatest show ever! Later when I go to the Walgreens and buy another tub of ice cream, I will see a glimpse of Harborview and I know a tear will come to my eye cause I know there are hard-working, nurses and doctors. They’re doing amazing things! Blessed!!
