You cant imagine the incredible experience at RCA. I was being weaned off valium (post AFIB) and needed to be monitored. But I went to most of the sessions with these healing addicted people. Seeing these people getting their green bracelet and the smiles and friendliness was life changing and responded to them with congratulations. These people are my heroes and the sessions were amazing. The "Serenity Prayer" has been a relationship lifesaver. I know people friends, who were RCA and they also think it a amazing. Everyone for Tony, the sweeper, to the food servers really care!. Thanks for reaching out. I have a prayer list of friends from RCA, I pray that list at 9 PM, your now on that list! If you dont mind, please forward to Daniele and Dana. G-d bless!

The experience I had at Avenues Bucks was everything I knew I needed and even more I didn’t know I needed. The facility and programming, and especially the staff and clinical team is unwavering in their dedication to the process and clients. I've been driving my father here, several times a year, for quite some time now.
Staff is always welcoming, the doctors, in any field, always speak with my father like they've been friends for years & making sure he knows exactly what to expect before, during & after his procedure/surgery.
Athough it's a hike from the Atlantic City area, the doctors & staff make the drive worth it every single time. I'm actually here now & although there's a bit of a wait, it's still comforting knowing my father will be in good hands.

I would like to say that I have been in a lot of detox facilities and this facility is the best The doctors are compassionate to your situation and take their time the techs are also very competent And make sure you have everything you need. I did a rapid detox because I had to go back to work and they were able to formulate a plan. And it actually worked for me. They did not try to force me to stay like most places would because they want the insurance money. They just wanted to make sure that I was okay. And? The plan actually worked for me Of course, it's a business but they're not just about the money where most places are and they are s***Shows Recovery village is not so I highly recommend this place - John Schwab - This is an update on my review that I posted over a year ago. I spent 14 years working at Kennedy Health System. 10 in the prn pool and 4 full time. This Jeff Health was a different experience. The new buildings are beautiful. I had a single room. From the ER through to the floor, the staff indicated they clearly understood my complaint and tried to mitigate it. It was not an easy fix but they made several attempts in the ER to help me obtain immediate relief. Once on the unit the room was clean. I would have preferred more instructions and explanations but still, the medical staff was competent. Every space was clean. Hospital food is Hospital food. I wasn't there to eat. This problem was new to me so I really didn't understand what was happening. But over all, I believe the staff worked to resolve my presenting issue and prepare me to go home. Now I'll deal with outpatient aftercare.

Amazing staff who make sure you’re are well taken care of and comfortable. The chef made incredible food for every meal and stocked the fridge every day with fresh food that we could eat at anytime as well. They also kept the freezer stocked with ice cream and water ice. The facility is cozy and kept very clean. There is a smart tv in every room as well as in the lounge/common area which is set up like a living room. I found the groups helpful. There are 3 hour long groups you can attend but don’t have to and either an AA or NA speakers that comes every night for an hour long meeting. I liked that Sunrise is a smaller facility, having room for about 20 patients. This made it easier to open up and share. You are able to go outside for fresh air or to smoke anytime except during group time. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about Sunrise Detox. Thank you to all the staff! You all are amazing!!

I went to sunrise 6/7 for the first time ever and I don’t regret a single thing about. Never been to detox before but the people who work there actually care about you and want you to get better. It only works if you are ready though. The food was amazing everyday, the counselors are there to help you, and the doctors/nurses want what’s best for you. I will 100% be going back there one day to speak to the patients to show them that recovery is possible. They also help you with finding resources after being discharged. I was recommended tk a doctor for the sublocade shot and had it done within two weeks of leaving sunrise. It’s a smaller operation but I found it to be better.

Norristown, PA | Valley Forge Medical Center and Hospital of Norristown, Pennsylvania, offers substance abuse and mental health services. There are lots of options in the medical center, including a detox program and a residential rehabilitation program. The clinic accepts self pay and various insurances, such as Medicaid and Medicare. Valley Forge Medical Center p | Treatments Programs Payment Options | My sister and I admitted our father to the rehabilitation center six days ago. Only the workers and patients are allowed inside. The guard stopped us at the door, but he was friendly and empathetic. He assured us that he would be well taken care of, which was true. I was particularly concerned about his safety and well-being because of the negative reviews I had read. According to the rehab policy, I couldn’t contact him, and he was only allowed to make phone calls with his counselor. He managed to make one call and was released today. I finally had the opportunity to talk to him about his experience.
Our father is a retired attorney and highly intelligent, but he has struggled with addiction throughout his life. He can be belligerent and argumentative at times. I was unsure how the staff and residents would interact with him.
To my delight, my father had an excellent experience at the center. He described the facility as spotlessly clean and the staff as friendly and cultured. He praised the food and mentioned that he was able to get plenty of rest. The only downside he mentioned was that patients were limited to two or three ten-minute smoke breaks outside and there were no activities to keep them occupied, making his days feel long. I found this to be a pity, considering the center’s beautiful surroundings. Fresh air and sunlight are essential for health and well-being, but that was the only complaint he had. Overall, I highly recommend this center and wish my father had chosen to stay longer.
I would also like to mention that the admission process was quick and easy. The representative was very friendly and helpful. Overall, I highly recommend this center, provided that you are okay with not being able to contact or speak with anyone from the center at all or hear from your loved one on a very limited basis.
Thank you!!

Entered Valley Forge Hospital 36 years ago today (July 18,1981) and today I celebrate 36 years of continuous sobriety. The staff at the time taught me to listen, learn and examine my motives. I was a horrible patient but they got through in spite of myself. We started the Valley Forge Alumni Association (me, Linda McD. and and Curt C.) in 1981.The place has done a lot of good for a lot of people. Sobriety isn't for those who want it or even for those who need it. Sobriety is for those who are willing to do the work to earn it. Once we stop complaining and start doing the work, life gets better. May God continue to bless us all. EDIT. Just celebrated 45 years of continued sobriety. Everything I said 9 years ago still holds true. Sobriety is earned on a daily basis. Life is wonderful. July 18, 2026. Keep on keeping on. Sobriety works...... Just keep doing the work.

I have been a client at Merakey since
03-2010. So I have been clean and sober for 12 years. If you work it it will help you and work. So if you are rea8to leave the drugs behind come and give it a chance. It's not going to be easy at first I promise you it will get easier as time goes on. You will have good and bad days but that's a part of the recovery process.
