I spent six weeks at the Greenbriar Wexford outpatient facility at a very difficult time in my life. My counselors (Ken and Sasha) were simply the best. I learned a lot of tools necessary for my recovery and I feel they definitely put me on the right path. I would recommend this facility for anyone who is experiencing a drug or alcohol addiction problem. I am certainly satisfied!

This location is so pleasant! I’ve been a patient here for years and have never had any problems with my appointments. You will become close with the staff here too, they’re wonderful! They offer lots of resources for anything that may be going on in your personal life! There’s also a pharmacy right around the corner to fill your Rx. I had two hip replacements done in one year and they accommodated my appts with no problems by zoom. I read some of the other reviews and all I can say is it’s not like that anymore. Every 1star review was left for ARS not Crossroads! It’s not packed with people and ur not waiting hours to be seen. The doctors spend time talking with you and they’ll follow up with anything you discuss at your next appt. I go during the week (midday) and I’m always in/out within 45 minutes.

Butler, Pennsylvania | Pyramid Healthcare’s Foundations Medical Services facility in Butler, Pennsylvania is an addiction and mental health facility that primarily assists individuals addicted to methadone and other opioids. The facility currently accepts most major insurance providers, including Medicaid, as payment. They also work with unions and Employee Assistance | Treatments Programs Payment Options | The people here have saved my life. They actually care and want you to get better. I have to talk about Erin the nurse though. She has been such a great influence on my life. She has always been there to help and encourage me to succeed but never ever have I felt judged by her for my previous mistakes. I’ve seen some people get mad and say horrible things about her because they lost their privileges, only to later come and tell her thank you for holding them accountable and helping them to really get back on track. When you’re an addict you place blame on others so much because it’s the only way you can live with yourself, but then you come to realize that it’s us who did wrong, they realized Erin didn’t take their privileges they took them from themselves, and the same people have come around and told me she saved their lives as well. She is an incredible nurse. She cares so much and sets an excellent example. I hope that Foundations realize just how blessed they are to have someone like her. She’s a treasure and a beautiful soul. One reason I’ve been clean for so long is I couldn’t stand to let her down. When I say she’s saved my life I mean it. Cherish her. Always!

I cannot say enough good about foundations and their staff. The nurses Erin and Edie are God sends. These people have helped save my life and I have many years clean and sober because of their help. People have preconceived notions and judgments about medication assisted recovery but you don’t know how it really is. These people care. They don’t want you stuck there. They saved my life over and over and I will forever be grateful. I’m going on 19 years clean because of their help and services. If you or a loved one needs help, there’s no better help out there than foundations. ADDED…. I was reading the other reviews and I’d love to address the one who says the nurses are horrible human beings. ABSOLUTELY NOT. When you don’t follow the rules that are out there for your safety you lose privileges. The nurses are not being mean by having to tell you that you failed a drug test or you didn’t show up to group so you can’t have the same privileges as those who do what’s right.. YOU DID THAT TO YOURSELF. And then he stated someone should burn it down!? If anyone did something so heinous because they can’t comply.. you’d be totally destroying so many peoples future. Not only would you take innocent peoples jobs but you’d crush single moms in recovery and other people trying to make it! How incredibly horrible! If anyone out there wants to get their lives back these people will bend over backwards to help you. Please don’t be turned off by a rant from someone who destroyed his own experience by not doing what’s right. Part of recovery is taking responsibility for your mistakes. No one can ruin your recovery but you. Foundations is amazing and they care. Especially the AMAZING NURSES! I want to add about my counselor Sydney. I have never in my life felt more advocated for. She is absolutely amazing. The people here truly care and want to see people get better. The only people who have problems are the ones who are completely out of line and disrespectful. They’re mad because they don’t get privileges but they forget they are the ones who ruin it for themselves. The nurses didn’t make you give a positive urinalysis. You did that. I have maintained my privileges for over a decade by simply allowing myself to live a normal life. And I wouldn’t have this chance if it wasn’t for the help of these great people. Thank you foundation’s staff for helping to save my life. My son who I got clean for in the first place is now on his way to becoming a state trooper. If you listen to them and do what you’re supposed to do. You will have your life back!

I just spent the last 5 days at McKeesport Hospital for a very serious illness. I was impressed by the caring, friendly and knowledgeable staff I encountered. Every single person involved in my care seemed genuinely concerned for my well being. Even the student nurses. Shout out to DJ. My room was clean, big and comfortable. My 3y/o was taken here by ambulance recently for lack of oxygen due to the croup/RSV. I've consistently heard bad things about UPMC Mckeesport, but our experience with the paramedics, the emergency department, the nurses and the care provider were all better than anything I've ever experienced at Children's in the last three years. I found everyone to be very kind, caring and helpful. The room was clean.

The first time I went here I thought I hated it and it was horrible, then I went to southwood and was begging to go back here. I went to western psych inpatient 2 times as well as outpatient 2 times and I can say I had a very pleasant experience all 4 times. Every psych ward has its issues like how they lost my favorite hoodie, but In the end most of the staff genuinely cared. They took us to meetings, made sure we could call people as much as they were allowed, treated us like equals, and just wanted what was best for us. There was always a staff or 2 that no one liked bc they were miserable, like Miss Sarah which I don’t know if she still works there or not. Whenever the mean ones weren’t around though they let us have as much fun as possible without breaking the rules. The one night we were bored and wanted to play dodge ball, so the staff flipped the tables and made teams! Not everyone has a great experience and you should still listen to your kid if they are begging you to take them out but I personally grew a lot bc of this place.
