I spent six weeks at the Greenbriar Wexford outpatient facility at a very difficult time in my life. My counselors (Ken and Sasha) were simply the best. I learned a lot of tools necessary for my recovery and I feel they definitely put me on the right path. This place was absolutely great through detox...and even through transitioning to the rehab...I'm not gonna lie I encounter multiple crazy situations....however staff was always there when I needed them, group of girls I was with was absolutely amazing, always welcoming, and a very non judgemental environment which I wasn't expecting...I made a few very close friends...they push u to be open and involved which I was hesitate at first but the girls I was with made it easy, I never felt more like myself before coming here...sometimes clients and staff got into it...not my problem...I learned so much from them...I detoxed for a week and successfully discharged from inpatient in a Month...I got out last yr in September...and I still to this read through my AA book which all girls and staff signed before I left...I'm truly glad my p.o. made me go inpatient...because who knows where I'd be today without it

Had a scheduled CT angiogram today and couldn t be happier with the experience. Scheduled for 10:30, was told to arrive by 9:30. There was a line at the registration desk but moved quickly. Everyone was friendly, patient and kind. Was taken back for my procedure and greeted by the nicest nurse, Marguerite. She took care of me the whole time. I was cold, anxious and a bit out of it and I felt very well taken care of. She brought me warm blankets and water and explained everything that was going to occur through my visit. She made a stressful situation so much better and felt like someone who truly cared about me took care of me today. Cannot be more thankful and grateful for the care I received today. Thank you, Marguerite! also, my procedure was scheduled for 10:30 and I was done and out of there at 10:25!! Wow, that NEVER happens.

Had my daughter here in November. The nurses were all amazing (albeit I didn t like one of them, but I was there for over 24 hrs so one out of many is not bad!) Doctor Clark was absolutely amazing made sure I was comfortable as possible and helpful from start to finish! The nurses who helped me deliver were the best! I loved my night nurse all together. My nurse from 7pm-11 at my delivery was my favorite (I loved them all) she was so helpful and caring and compassionate. My postpartum staff was also wonderful very caring and reassuring.

I have a fear of hospitals and avoid them at all costs, but the ER staff helped me feel at ease and made my stay as comfortable as possible. They took great care of me and had me out the door in less than three hours. I've never experienced such a speedy hospital visit. The people here have saved my life. They actually care and want you to get better. I have to talk about Erin the nurse though. She has been such a great influence on my life. She has always been there to help and encourage me to succeed but never ever have I felt judged by her for my previous mistakes. I ve seen some people get mad and say horrible things about her because they lost their privileges, only to later come and tell her thank you for holding them accountable and helping them to really get back on track. When you re an addict you place blame on others so much because it s the only way you can live with yourself, but then you come to realize that it s us who did wrong, they realized Erin didn t take their privileges they took them from themselves, and the same people have come around and told me she saved their lives as well. She is an incredible nurse. She cares so much and sets an excellent example. I hope that Foundations realize just how blessed they are to have someone like her. She s a treasure and a beautiful soul. One reason I ve been clean for so long is I couldn t stand to let her down. When I say she s saved my life I mean it. Cherish her. Always!

I cannot say enough good about foundations and their staff. The nurses Erin and Edie are God sends. These people have helped save my life and I have many years clean and sober because of their help. People have preconceived notions and judgments about medication assisted recovery but you don t know how it really is. These people care. They don t want you stuck there. They saved my life over and over and I will forever be grateful. I m going on 19 years clean because of their help and services. If you or a loved one needs help, there s no better help out there than foundations. ADDED . I was reading the other reviews and I d love to address the one who says the nurses are horrible human beings. ABSOLUTELY NOT. When you don t follow the rules that are out there for your safety you lose privileges. The nurses are not being mean by having to tell you that you failed a drug test or you didn t show up to group so you can t have the same privileges as those who do what s right.. YOU DID THAT TO YOURSELF. And then he stated someone should burn it down!? If anyone did something so heinous because they can t comply.. you d be totally destroying so many peoples future. Not only would you take innocent peoples jobs but you d crush single moms in recovery and other people trying to make it! How incredibly horrible! If anyone out there wants to get their lives back these people will bend over backwards to help you. Please don t be turned off by a rant from someone who destroyed his own experience by not doing what s right. Part of recovery is taking responsibility for your mistakes. No one can ruin your recovery but you. Foundations is amazing and they care. Especially the AMAZING NURSES! I want to add about my counselor Sydney. I have never in my life felt more advocated for. She is absolutely amazing. The people here truly care and want to see people get better. The only people who have problems are the ones who are completely out of line and disrespectful. They re mad because they don t get privileges but they forget they are the ones who ruin it for themselves. The nurses didn t make you give a positive urinalysis. You did that. I have maintained my privileges for over a decade by simply allowing myself to live a normal life. And I wouldn t have this chance if it wasn t for the help of these great people. Thank you foundation s staff for helping to save my life. My son who I got clean for in the first place is now on his way to becoming a state trooper. If you listen to them and do what you re supposed to do. You will have your life back!
