I would give 0 stars if I could. Last appointment I tried calling them and an answering service answered my phone asking me whether i have an emergency or cancellation. I said cancellation and they asked me to call during business hours, I was calling during the business hours, apparently they’re short staffed. Then they my card for a no-show. For my next appointment i tried reaching out a day before it, during business hours again, and the answering service said the same thing to me again said to call back the next day after 8:00 Am. I called at 9 am and the same answering service read put the same script, this time to not be charged I said i had an emergency and they let me leave a message. I got a call back from them after the message, I spoke with the person and explained them everything, they said that they get all call recordings and won’t return my previous charge because it wasn’t their fault, how? I was only able to leave a message only after I said it was an emergency, how am I supposed to know what was going on? Why is the script handed to the third party saying that “if you have a cancellation call back during business hours”. And the dense person I spoke to couldn’t comprehend that they don’t let you leave a message for a call back unless there is an emergency. She said that they got all call recordings, how can they know? they clearly don’t know that i was certainly trying to reach out to them? if you have a counseling company, tell your employees to not be rude to the clients. And give me my 85 dollars back. there’s far better therapists than them.

I called Rise on December 20th to attempt to get a new therapist. Got put on their waitlist until yesterday (January 31st). Had an appointment for February 10th all set up and filled out all the paperwork they sent me. Today, they called and told me the therapist I had the appointment with read my preliminary paperwork and didn’t think we’d be a good fit for each other, so they cancelled the appointment. So that’s 43 days I was waiting for a therapist, assuming I was going to eventually get one here. Now, I have no problem whatsoever with them telling me that me and the therapist wouldn’t be a good match. I know the importance of a therapist and client being a good fit for each other. What I am unhappy about is the fact that they could’ve had me fill out the screening paperwork 43 days ago, told me I wasn’t a good fit, and I could’ve spent the last month and a half trying to find a therapist that wouldn’t reject me as a patient. Additionally, after being sent away, I browsed through their counselors to see if any of the other therapists there that I wasn’t matched with might seem like an okay match and I recognized the name of one of them: Tessa Bills. A few years ago, my girlfriend-at-the-time went to Tessa for therapy for a few sessions before quitting. She said Tessa was very dismissive and played around with her phone for more than half of each session. Since not only my time was wasted by this place, but also my ex’s time was wasted here, I figured they deserved a review of my experiences with Rise Counseling. To give them credit where credit is due, Jade did give me a few recommendations of other counselors in town. I’m going to explore those options now, but I wish I could’ve been exploring them 43 days ago. Tl;dr: They wasted a lot of my time trying to get a therapist, putting me on a waitlist only to reject me when it was my turn on the waitlist and my ex-girlfriend had a rather unprofessional experience with one of the therapists here.

St. Joes is an absolute paradise! Such a beautiful place to go and work on yourself. The staff are amazing and the treatment is so productive. They're pulling strings you may not realize to help you!! Thanks to St. Joes I've found me again. He was lost for a long time in the fog of a deep depression, masking that with substance use, I thought he was gone forever. Thank you guys so much for an opportunity to live again, not just exist. If you are struggling and need help, give them a call. They will pick you up and mark will call you everyday until they do to ask how you are doing! I've never been to a more beautiful place that helps you as a whole being, mind, body, and soul! Chuck Rose

I felt compelled to write this review because of the wonderful care my 88 years old father has received. The respect, kindness and concern displayed by every one of the Doctors, nurses and personnel we have encountered is absolutely amazing. While they are too numerous to mention, I particularly wanted to give special gratitude to our home care nurse, Vinnie…my father just adores her and she is amazing. I also wanted to express my appreciation to Lorett, who tended to my father’s wounds yesterday. Lorett was incredible and so kind. Likewise were the doctor, Rachel and the staff in the emergency area. In closing, I want to state that this VA hospital and all associated medical providers and staff should be recognized for its/their high degree of standard, but more importantly for the compassion and respect displayed to our Veterans. Thank you and happy holidays.

The worst place I have ever been. The counselors are apathetic b*tches, they are unorganized, they have canceled several appointments on me, a patient recovering from a suicide attempt. The secretary has *maybe* 2 brain cells wandering aimlessly around her fat *ss body. This place did literally nothing for me. Everyone I encountered here was unpleasant, unproductive, and useless. I feel sorry for anyone who has surrendered to this pathetic attempt at counseling and therapy. These people do not care about people, they just want your money. (and it was a waste of mine!)

I've been to Roxbury in the past deviated with a couple of patients acting like fools like they were staff pretty much ok but attitudes as well I understand that they were trying to do their jobs in trying to keep everyone safe but they are also there to talk to people not to let other patients pass gass right behind you in the medication line or right in your face or put their fist in your face like one male patient did, that mail patient was lucky I was being discharged yesterday when he did that to me and I was in line getting my medication when this happened I am not the type to get ticked off about it but I was already ticked off to begin with

The majority of the nurses Kanika, Chrissie, GiGi are awesome. The ONLY nurse I didn’t care for is Erin. She gave me the wrong dosage on my liquid Prozac twice. She’s not friendly at all. Why does Erin stay in the room clicking a pen and shining a flashlight until she wakes the person up and leaves? Why are the doors left open when we are trying to sleep? Why are the doors locked for four hours? The majority of the employees were fantastic.

This place is a nightmare. They let folks cut in line and you have to wait behind people who are picking up a month worth of medication even if you are daily. And those people will actually even cut in front of you! And if you say anything about it, YOU will get in trouble... Oh and the breathalyzers... Unreal. I drive to Maryland and pay cash now and am much happier and only have to go weekly and they are total professionals and know how to treat people properly. This place is a joke, a sick joke! Today I helped a Vietnam era veteran. Remember as a veteran sometimes we struggle. When you see a service person in need of help, do what the Lord installed in your heart love of one another. The gentleman was in need. I would encourage anyone whether you're a veteran or not. Help the elderly. My suggestion would be to take an index card and put the person's first name only, last four if you're a veteran and POC. Place this in a plastic bag and safety pin it to the person in some form or fashion. This would eliminate hours of wasted time helping people to connect with loved ones. Let them know the Lord brought you to them out of love because he first loved us. One other advice if you're helping someone and you have to walk away give them something of yours to assure them you will return. A small act of kindness goes a long way. The Lord sees all and never forgets. Lose the attitude of someone not being your race. When you served you should NEVER see race. Remember that. You don't know who may be near you to save your life. We leave no one behind. Amen UPDATE October 20, 2025*** Thank you so much for fitting me in your schedule with Radiology. Thank you for all you do for Veterans....Plus ten Stars 💓 I want to thank the gentleman who carried my purse while I walked your walker. I believe we both loved the small acts of kindness. Have a blessed day.

The AMAZING staff at the Caron Foundation facility in Del Ray Beach truly saved my sons life. As of tomorrow, he will have been sober for one full year!! The treatment at Caron surpassed all of his and my expectations. He had been in several rehabs over many years, and they would assist in helping him to get sober but after 15 to 30 days, out he went. The reasons for his continued addiction was never addressed. At Caron, the program they offer is life changing. Not only did they help get him sober but FINALLY the reasons behind the addiction were brought out front and center. The staff's ability to guide and push when needed to help get at the root of the origin of his addiction was our answer. We know he will struggle each day but going from where he was, on the street, homeless, to where he is now, brought him back to his family. We truly went years not having the knowledge to help. The staff at Caron , not only helped my son , but helped me. We went to visit him a few times while he was in treatment and the staff were beyond accommodating, along with their kindness and compassion for what they do, with each patient. I would highly recommend the Caron Treatment Center for anyone or any family hoping to have their loved one back .

I'm ecstatic to share my transformative journey. This exceptional facility has surpassed my expectations in every way. The staff is comprised of dedicated individuals who genuinely care about empowering you to reach your full potential. I'm thoroughly enjoying the serene atmosphere, which fosters a sense of tranquility. The unique name 'pyramid' is a testament to the facility's innovative approach. The support team is always available to offer guidance and encouragement, making them true champions of positive change. My group leader's thoughtful gesture of playing the graduation song was a lovely touch. I've had the pleasure of meeting some incredible people along the way. One key takeaway is the importance of maintaining a positive mindset, as it can greatly impact your progress and overall well-being. Whenever challenges arise, I've found that open communication with my therapist is invaluable. How can I forget Sheila!!!! She's caring, good listener, and very knowledgeable always ready to help. As a service-connected disabled veteran that has been in the VA system 1994, I love being able to receive my primary care closer to home. For years I went to the Lebanon VAMC for ALL my healthcare needs and the drive alone made it inconvenient. Let alone the constant construction and parking lot mess. The care at Lebanon VAMC is wonderful but the facility is big and busy so the much closer Lancaster VA at Willow Street is a godsend for me. The front desk, lab, nurses and my PCP are incredible. Very clean office, very quiet peaceful office and generally there is plenty of nearby parking, unlike Lebanon VAMC.
