Very polite & honest staff who neither sugarcoat the truth -- does the opposite of helping --& does not judge the patients. All fair treatment & the patients rarely do not enjoy their time, seen many friendships develop & the staff are skilled in their field. It is in a very rural area so no Wifi but you can make landline phone calls. Expect many birds lol. My loved one has some concerning mental health diagnoses, but those two counsilors made their rehab stay the best possible. I truly have hope in their recovery this time. They have been to multiple rehabs previously and I have never seen them this good mentally (drug and mental health wise). Thank you so much!! I'll be honest, I have read some of the reviews and got really concerned prior to them coming, but I couldn't be more thankful for the counsilors they had throughout their stay. My experience with 3 counselors over 3 years was wonderful. It has been a much more personal experience, a give and take that was different from past places. With 2 of them they had been previous addicts, but all have had wisdom and encouragement. At other places it was just be me telling my life story and them bieng very gaurded about any personal details which made it less likely for me to be totally honest and not make progress in the counseling sessions. . The nurses are very kindly people as well and, unlike other clincs will accommodate me as a 40 year old man they will find another man to supervise the urinalysis instead of making me pee with a beautiful young nurse standing next to me, which I feel is inappropriate. I can say everyone is very friendly since a surly old bird of a nurse left 2 yrs ago. Maybe I just have an exceptionally good attitude or drank too much of the syzurp, but I feel if you put forth any effort in your recovery, these people will more than meet you halfway. You can improve yourself, pursue your dreams and goals or dream life away, at the Jtwn methadone clinic, you decide. everydays a blast! So come join the party today! After leaving several different providers due to their indifference to my symptoms and not listening to me, I was hesitant to begin going here. I figured it would be more of the same old thing. However my psychiatrist (Dr. Kanyote) is kind and listens. He seems very sincere. He actually is the one that started me on the only medicine that helps my severe depression. He also provided paperwork to help me find the psychological evaluation that I needed, instead of making me do the work on my own. My insurance has changed for the better and I could easily change providers now, but I feel as though I am cared for as a patient here, so I will continue using this place. I read previous reviews and I must say, they made me incredibly nervous for my appointment. However, when I got there I was greeted with kindness and respect. The paperwork is understandably thorough but going over all of it was relatively quick and painless. Autumn was great and got me in and out of there without a hitch. As long as you’re clean & don’t have extensive past trauma etc I don’t see how you could have a negative experience. Obviously if there are red flags that come up, you will end up needing treatment. Certainly didn’t seem like they were after money as others stated in their reviews. 100% would recommend for evaluations.
