Wow, I'm shocked at previous reviewers. I don't know their whole story, but I'll share mine.
The office staff were kind, respectful, and knew me by name after the first week.
The therapists I met with were professional, used up to date research and evidence based interventions.
I had a miscommunication issue about money, and the director called me herself to make sure she understood my issue. She listened and understood. More than working out the money, she was safe and trustworthy to problem solve with.
I would recommend the Shephearst experience to anyone.

The only people who have issues with this place are people who are not ready to get clean and follow rules.
I was the first patient to walk through these doors and I have seen so many people come and go staff and patients.
This clinic has come a long way. Jeff is amazing, and Mel! I can't list name by name because the entire staff are Rockstars!

Dr. Anderson was amazing. This has been the best experience in psychiatry that I’ve ever had. He doesn’t simply push medication on you, he works with the mind, body and spirit to create a treatment plan that has longevity. His conservative manner of medication prescription makes me feel safe and the professionalism is top notch. His bedside manner and ability to listen to my thoughts and opinions is amazing. He literally asked me before I left the office if I felt seen, heard and understood. Who does that? I’m a patient for life.

Dr. Turner is awesome. He is caring and compassionate. I had to leave Pine Grove in March for insurance reasons, but when I found out my insurance was accepted there now, I would not see anyone else except William Turner.

I cannot say enough about this place. Everything was great. The counselors were awesome!!!! I give a big shout out to Mrs. Holly. She was the only one that got me to break. Love her little bubbly self. If my insurance would've let me stay more than 28 days I would still be there. I am confident that I will stay sober. If you or someone you know is trying to get clean, this is the place to go.

I feel it ever so appropriate to send a HUGE shout to the amazing staff at North Sunflower Medical Center and its affiliates. Over the past few months, I had been experiencing something that just wasn’t quite right in my chest and upper body. My sister Leigh Ann, spoke with Dr. Ryan Gary, cardiologist, and was able to get me in as a new patient. After my evaluation, Dr. Gary decided it best to conduct cardiac testing. Once he reviewed the results, he gave me a call. Not his nurse, or his staff, him, the doctor, to give me the results. The Jackson Heart Clinic-Ruleville, is amazing.
The day following the communication of the results, I was having chest pains again, so I decided to go to Sunflower Rural Health Clinic. I saw Dr. Rothin Reddy. His staff performed tests and discovered that I was actually having a heart attack (He found very elevated levels of cardiac enzymes). Dr. Reddy then sent me over the North Sunflower Medical Center Emergency Room. Dr. Lamberto Cosue and his staff, including Ruth Ann Luciano, wasted no time attending to my needs. They were nothing short of amazing. They made me feel very calm even though the situation was pretty serious and they all knew I was pretty nervous. Dr. Cosue was able to get my vitals stabilized and wasted no time sending me by ambulance to St. Dominic’s in Jackson. This isn’t my opinion, this is a fact when I say North Sunflower Medical Center is top notch, I am living proof. I am forever grateful to everyone that came to my aid. Bless all of you and keep doing what you’re doing.

I have been a professional interventionist since 2010. I was introduced to this program in 2012. I have been referring there since then. My clients have always had a positive experience and the clinical and support staff are the most responsive and knowledgeable. They want what’s best for the client and the family and have long term options. They do very well young adult males and most recently I referred a 69 year old man first time treatment. It was a family member and he’s doing very well and committed to 90 days of treatment. I can’t thank the clinical staff and administrators enough for the program they have created. This is my first time doing IOP and I luv it Mike Ramos is the best my family even luvs him good person great attitude he as a way of wanting to do right and stay right and you can tell he is genuine about his job unlike miss star he as a way of teaching addiction were you understand it always keep Mike and his little dog brisket he's a big part of Saint Christopher's
