Despite some of the bad reviews I’ve seen of progress valley? Personally they have helped me many times. I believe recovery isn’t always getting it right the first time. They always welcomed me back with open arms and were proud of me for making the step to come back into an inpatient treatment. I am now going on 5 months sober & am so grateful for the program. If it wasn’t for them and what I’ve learned from them through the years I would probably be dead. Juli is amazing, faith is absolutely a sweetheart and so caring, the director lady Renee used to scare the shit out of me but she just cares about you and is very much just straight forward and wants the best for you. I have seen many people who have graduated the program come back and work there themselves and I believe it’s beautiful because they are also helping their recovery by working with people and helping them stay sober and be supports! I hope one day I could come and work for progress valley! Thank you guys for everything you do & I am sorry that some people have had bad experiences here, progress valley isn’t for everyone just like everyone has different tastes in things. I personally loved progress valley & I always will.

Progress Valley, provided a supportive and personalized treatment experience that significantly aided my recovery journey. The staff were incredibly compassionate and knowledgeable, tailoring therapy sessions to my specific needs. Their commitment to holistic care, including group sessions, individual counseling, and wellness activities, created a safe environment to confront challenges and build coping mechanisms. I especially appreciated the accessible and responsive communication from my therapist, who was always available to address concerns. While the initial adjustment period was difficult, the structured program and dedicated staff helped me develop the tools necessary to maintain sobriety upon discharge. I would highly recommend Progress Valley to anyone seeking quality addiction treatment.

This is an 10/10 clinic for anyone seeking help with addiction. Yusuf and his staff run the program with professionalism and care, while putting the clients first. I have nearly completed the outpatient program. I too watched the Bill Murray video. The movie is a comedy about a highly regarded therapist and an obsessive compulsive patient that violates the patient therapist relationship continuously. I am not sure what needs explaining. We are all in therapy and if you paid attention you would have learned many lessons about life and life in therapy. Also it was humorous and certainly was a team building exercise. This is group therapy. I am not sure why someone would write on the comments with second hand knowledge of the therapy received. The person that received the therapy should write more detail on why he/she thought it was bad. Someone in treatment that doesn't want to be there complaining to his mom is hardly good information. The group I am is always changing and yet the group is dynamic and contributes a lot to helping each other. Some of the people that come in occasionally just don't want to participate and if you don't participate you don't get much from the group. Seldom is this a problem and that is a testament to the excellent leadership. Group therapy is not a counselor to class one way learning experience. The counselor keeps the group on point and it is up to the patient/participant to get something out of counseling. There is plenty of homework to do and the counselors are always available for after group discussions. If your son was having problems with understanding the reason for the movie he just had to ask. We also occasionally play group games. If anyone is having trouble in the group the group members are always there to help out. The facility is easy to get to and easy to park near the door if that matters. The group talks on break. There are regular drug tests and relapses are discussed openly if you unfortunately choose drugs during the program. As for insurance that probably could be explained better but as you said you should have checked up on it if you weren't getting bills. Certainly if your insurance company is not following up with any bill analysis something is wrong. It was explained to me that your portion of the bill is generally lumped into one payment at the end. Your insurance company is the one that makes the decisions not the center. My insurance is BCBS and treatment which is generally out of network thanks to the misguided forces caused by Obamacare can be expensive. There is financial help available if you qualify and you can still ask. Ultimately insurance and the bill is the responsiblity of the patient and it is your responsibility to understand how the billing works. If you didn't do this you failed in your responsibility. I have been going 3 times per week for 3 hours and the time goes by fast. The discussion is relevant and the group spends more time on anyone that needs more input. 3/4ths of the class is there because they are forced to be there by law. Yet anyone participating seems to be having a good time and they are glad they are there. Most report that it is far better than the 12 step meetings though an outside meeting each week is a requirement for each participant. Like any educational or life changing learning experience the number one determinate of success is the willingness of the patient to be open and honest. Also to put the time in necessary after group to learn the things they need to learn to be successful. If you are expecting to go there and sit around and graduate with some sort of diploma, cured of addiction, you aren't going to succeed anywhere. This is a great program and it is outpatient. The people are very focused on your success in the program. Maybe it isn't the perfect solution for a young person that is feeling put out by being there but for anyone motivated to get better this place is great.

So far my experience with Anne Marie has been TERRIBLE!!!! Early in recovery dealing with disconnection notices and getting back into the work force relying on public transportation in rural Minnesota and trying to find housing is NOT EASY and neither it is an excuse, but I am not sure how she can be kicked out of group after 1 group absence and individual. It is frustrating to work with a provider who calls their clients names during sessions and communicates in a condescending manner. Is this place not trauma informed? I’m so confused as to how I was discharged without being able to speak for myself or to Anne Marie’s supervisor. UPDATE: Club recovery was ready to listen to my concerns and was quick to offer an efficient solution. I am highly satisfied with the care that I've received at Club Recovery, but amazed at their proficient customer service.

I absolutely adored my loving, kind, understanding, compassionate and just a teeny tiny bit rough, counselor, Ava. Additionally, the program isn't like others that I've been to. I felt less triggered and much more like a family. Park gave me a purpose and motivation to get up, go, and actively participate every day. I enjoyed My time there so so much!!! Like any VA facility, this one has many concerns to resolve to provide quality care to veterans. They seem to do their best with less. Personnel and provider shortages are becoming a problem. Some appointments can take several months to be seen. Community care needs to improve in providing referrals for quality care outside the VA and not just those who are the lowest bidders. VA recently denied over $10k in payments to my dental surgeon because they couldn’t get the bill submitted within their 6 month window because the clerks had repeated bouts of COVID. I can no longer maintain continuity of care because of VAs lack of consideration. The dental provider was highly skilled and experienced. Now he refuses any further authorizations from any VA. Today’s visit went very well at the VA for a minor procedure. All staff and providers were delightfully cheerful. That is certainly an improvement. God bless!

I want to share my extremely positive experience with Kristen Metcalf, PA-C. After a very difficult and discouraging day dealing with other clinics, I came to Fairview feeling anxious, exhausted, and honestly a bit hopeless. Kristen changed everything. She treated me with genuine respect, patience, and kindness. She listened carefully, took my symptoms seriously, and never rushed me. For the first time today, I felt heard and understood. She provided clear medical explanations, validated my concerns, and helped me finally get the documentation I needed regarding my asthma flare and recent illness. The letter she wrote for me was thorough, professional, and thoughtfully worded. It reflected real care for the patient’s situation—not just “checking boxes,” but truly supporting me. Because of her compassion and professionalism, I have decided to make Kristen my new primary care provider moving forward. I am deeply grateful for her empathy and her dedication. If you are looking for someone who is knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely cares about patients, I highly recommend Kristen Metcalf, PA-C.

Providers and staff all very helpful in person and via communication on MyChart. I had forms that needed to be completed for unemployment, and the staff were great about signing, faxing it over, and updating me throughout the process in a timely manner. Both my husband and I recommend going here for primary care, labs, and behavioral/mental health needs.

I went here 6 years ago and at the time I was another moody teen with ODD. I hated most aspects of everything and I always acted out whenever I could. The experience was next to none though. Jack was hands down the best counselor/director and everything I needed to push me to be me today. If it wasn't for these guys at this center I wouldn't be alive today. This isn't even mentioning Michelle. Rest in Peace. I couldn't be happier with my experience at On-Belay. I still feel like I'm mountain climbing and these guys are spotting me from a million miles away. If you want the best for your child, just as these counselors do, send them here.

Thirty two years ago I was an enraged, always angry at the world teenager dealing with substance issues and a BH diagnosis. The staff at Omegon saved my life. I don’t remember the names of the staff but I do remember one woman with reddish blonde hair who had a golden retriever. That woman and that dog were a godsend to me. The other clients I met while there were awesome as well. We all had our issues and chips on our shoulders. But we made it work. Thank you.

I'm currently in crtc as KY initials, and I can confidently say this place was scary at first and really hard place to wanna be in but now I've put in lots of effort and have grown to be more communicative and trusting of others due to my lovely therapists who truly show they care and they've helped me when things were getting bad and I became hopeless, the school there, not so great due to only there being 2 classes Science & history. But it's easy so Im not complaining. I will be leaving crtc after 20 days or less, and I feel my mental health has improved and I've became more mature as a 13 almost 14 year old, I believe once you put in the effort and are determined to do what it takes to leave then you will get out in no time, I have almost been here 5 months and I am happy to say I've made lots of progress thanks to my staff and admin, peers time to time start conflict since I've been here but it's normal to fight with people you live with because it's healthy to express your emotions, but I rather recommend having a monitored conversation! It's something the staff offer if you feel you are having a hard time with someone and you both need to talk & or repair talk. Crtc has taught me manners and kindness and for that I appreciate because I found myself doing something I wouldn't think of doing ever before I got here, I learned to love myself & not care what others think and have pride in the things I do, so, I just wanted to say before I leave thank you crtc for helping me learn new and healthy coping skills, I'm on the track to success not only because of my doing, but because you believed I could and that helped a lot. Thank you for everything you have done and I hope things get better for anyone having to go here, I wish you all the best of luck and that they have similar results to me when you try your hardest. I've learned new and better habits rather than unhealthy, I don't sh anymore and my intrusive thoughts have been gone for months, now just know we all go through bad times, but you'll get through it no matter how hard it seems example, it may seem like you're stuck in a really bad thunderstorm but the storm will pass, it always does, just keep walking and you'll get there guys. P.s when I first got here If im being 100% honest I would have given a bad review saying something like "this place sucks!" or "0 stars because staff are the worst and this place is like a prison!!!" but I didn't, why? Because I knew for me personally it wasn't true. So, now that I gave it a shot and tried my best it's not so bad, the staff leave left and right but sometimes you gotta be optimistic and welcoming to new faces because even the newer staff have been able to help me even if they don't know me like some staff do they try, and that's what matters to me, thank you Crtc for opening my eyes and helping me learn to trust again. - Ky 2023

I'm over all pleased with the program, my child has definitely changed, if I have anything to complain about is they offer to many "outs" for the children whereas in my time we figured out and didn't go to a breakout room.
