Jaylen Jimenez is the go to person for the house if you have any concerns or goals you what to achieve without anything holding you back don't hesitate to talk to Jaylen. Endeavor Place was one of the best ran facilities, thanks to the owner Michele Buer. She always had fun activities planned for the youth such as going to timberwolves games, to state parks, out to eat for pizza, winter activities etc. She believed in work before play and created that type of atmosphere. She was honest, even if she knew you might not like her answer. Her honesty, kindness, and caring provided a positive role model for the youth. Structure was the main focus when I went there almost ten years ago. The counselors where what made it work and the backbone behind this place. This place isnt about fun. Its about getting better. Taking for granted that things may have changed significantly since I attended this inpatient treatment center.

Patty or Patti, not sure which. Gave me someone to talk to about what was happening. She's the only reason I knew I could check myself into detox for more than 24hrs and the only reason I saw a path outside of waiting to die.

This place saved me. They took the time to listen to me, even when I screamed at them because I was having a hard time expressing my emotions and trauma. They never seemed impatient with me and staff would stay with me as long as I needed. They take the time to get to know you and they ask you before putting you on new medications. They took us on fun outings and gave us each our own music player. We even got to pick the music they put on it! They treated us like real people, not just something they were stuck dealing with until their shifts ended like other facilities I was at. I used to try ending my life all the time before going there. After leaving, I never attempted again. Its been two years since I was there and I will always be greatful for everything they had done for me.

The receptionist are not the friendliest people . Yet the other staff like the ARMS Case Managers and Therapist are very friendly understanding caring and compassionate with there clients very happy with care I received . this place was great and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. they worked with my other advocates which other inpatients i’ve been placed at have failed to do often for me. it’s not the most fun of inpatients, but it’s overall a good place to get treatment and i’d recommend this inpatient way more than many of the other inpatients i’ve been to. no judgement, much assistance, and very good people that work there. thank you all !!

I started treatment for severe PTSD, anxiety, and depression during covid-19 lockdowns. I initially wanted to be evaluated for any diagnosis, and then the woman interviewing me recommended me to Ms. Morris.
She saw me for maybe a year? Or a bit longer. Absolutely wonderful woman to work with, extremely thorough, and listened to what I needed to say.
I really appreciate that the woman who saw me for my evaluation knew who to direct me to. I think that's an extremely important thing for healthcare providers to be able to do; acknowledge that their patient might not be someone they can treat, and then direct them to the right provider who can.

My time at Burkwood was amazing, to say the least. The staff were great and it truly is up to you if you want this place to help you! Take what you can from it and be grateful. Reading some of these horrible reviews is crazy to me! It’s not a vacation - for a treatment center it’s pretty damn nice! The classes do get a little monotonous, but for the most part were engaging and helpful. My counselor Derek was the absolute best and the RAs Diane, William, Kristin, Aidan and Ashley were genuine and helpful. They are heavily rooted in AA which I thought I would hate at first, but if you’re just open-minded and listen to what speaks to you it’s not too shabby. They helped me set up IOP and sober living after and I’m enjoying the beginning of my sober life thus far. Thank you Burkwood ❤️
