Jaylen Jimenez is the go to person for the house if you have any concerns or goals you what to achieve without anything holding you back don't hesitate to talk to Jaylen. Endeavor Place was one of the best ran facilities, thanks to the owner Michele Buer. She always had fun activities planned for the youth such as going to timberwolves games, to state parks, out to eat for pizza, winter activities etc. She believed in work before play and created that type of atmosphere. She was honest, even if she knew you might not like her answer. Her honesty, kindness, and caring provided a positive role model for the youth. The counselors did a great job facilitating groups and meeting with client’s individually.

Structure was the main focus when I went there almost ten years ago. The counselors where what made it work and the backbone behind this place. This place isnt about fun. Its about getting better. Taking for granted that things may have changed significantly since I attended this inpatient treatment center.

Patty or Patti, not sure which. Gave me someone to talk to about what was happening. She's the only reason I knew I could check myself into detox for more than 24hrs and the only reason I saw a path outside of waiting to die.

This place saved me. They took the time to listen to me, even when I screamed at them because I was having a hard time expressing my emotions and trauma. They never seemed impatient with me and staff would stay with me as long as I needed. They take the time to get to know you and they ask you before putting you on new medications. They took us on fun outings and gave us each our own music player. We even got to pick the music they put on it! They treated us like real people, not just something they were stuck dealing with until their shifts ended like other facilities I was at. I used to try ending my life all the time before going there. After leaving, I never attempted again. Its been two years since I was there and I will always be greatful for everything they had done for me.

this place was great and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. they worked with my other advocates which other inpatients i’ve been placed at have failed to do often for me. it’s not the most fun of inpatients, but it’s overall a good place to get treatment and i’d recommend this inpatient way more than many of the other inpatients i’ve been to. no judgement, much assistance, and very good people that work there. thank you all !!

The receptionist are not the friendliest people . Yet the other staff like the ARMS Case Managers and Therapist are very friendly understanding caring and compassionate with there clients very happy with care I received . I started treatment for severe PTSD, anxiety, and depression during covid-19 lockdowns. I initially wanted to be evaluated for any diagnosis, and then the woman interviewing me recommended me to Ms. Morris.
She saw me for maybe a year? Or a bit longer. Absolutely wonderful woman to work with, extremely thorough, and listened to what I needed to say.
I really appreciate that the woman who saw me for my evaluation knew who to direct me to. I think that's an extremely important thing for healthcare providers to be able to do; acknowledge that their patient might not be someone they can treat, and then direct them to the right provider who can.

So my experience here was an amazing life changing moment, that is leading the way for me to be successful in my Recovery. From every single RA to the kitchen staff, and everyone else that works there. My counselor was Jon, he was funny, blunt, caring and very smart. Im grateful to have met him. Cheryl and Kelly may seem like tough cookies, but they are god sent human beings that want nothing but the best for each and everyone of you. I see the hate in the comments..... The program is simple, follow the rules, learn, participate, and dont waste a bed for people that really want this!. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Im blessed i got the chance. Thank you to every single person at Burkwood. Love yall

Burkwood is an amazing place. Their staff truly care and are so rich of information to share about addiction, recovery, and real life. They’re are meant for their jobs. I’ve learned so much while I was there. I valued the daily book we filled out on our own, fully engaging and eye opening. I was lucky to have Pete as my counselor. His approach was thorough and helpful. My only complaint is that it was crowded there and access to phones, bathrooms, and laundry was a bit tricky but maybe that will change at some point. Thank you Burkwood!

My time at Burkwood was amazing, to say the least. The staff were great and it truly is up to you if you want this place to help you! Take what you can from it and be grateful. Reading some of these horrible reviews is crazy to me! It’s not a vacation - for a treatment center it’s pretty damn nice! The classes do get a little monotonous, but for the most part were engaging and helpful. My counselor Derek was the absolute best and the RAs Diane, William, Kristin, Aidan and Ashley were genuine and helpful. They are heavily rooted in AA which I thought I would hate at first, but if you’re just open-minded and listen to what speaks to you it’s not too shabby. They helped me set up IOP and sober living after and I’m enjoying the beginning of my sober life thus far. Thank you Burkwood ❤️

I thought I would be on a list for mental health services however to my surprise they assessed me right away and got me the help I needed they are supportive very kind people who understand mental illness I’d recommend them to everyone ❤️

There labor and delivery services for their patients visiting doesn’t make any one want to support who they come with the nurses are rude and don’t seem to notice the gust . Usually at other hospitals their not as rude to the patient family there are no warm blankets in the hospital over all there services sucks

Thanks to Rule 25 and Minnesota’s inclusive and affirming approach toward LGBTQ+ folks, opportunities like this exist - and I’m so grateful for that.
